Draegigmul, a mix between a Croatian term for gemstones (with inspiration from a Danish term as well), and a Korean term for creatures, these creatures would be worldwide, with lots of different name mixes and folklore for every culture and religion, with niche variants as well for each climate and ecosystem. I personally see these as being very vibrant, energetic, and flighty creatures that are small but can startle and cause other predators or large animals to flee upon contact, with a diet of mainly herbivorous items and occasionally small rodents. Their existence has caused rumours of small dragons, sightings of phoenixes, mythical salamanders and fire spirits, as well as chimeras.
