Kallinikos looked at Sherry with regretful eyes.

"First of all, I want to apologize for what I did to you. I... I just wanted to give some time for Selia to organize her thoughts. Didn't mean to make you feel left out....And at first, I was afraid you might hurt Selia or Jason... But I guess no one was the baddie here. I realized that while we were walking together."

Kalli sighed lightly before continuing. "...If you still want my advice, I'll happily tell you. But, but remember I'm no expert." Sherry quietly listened, looked into his eyes and slowly nodded her head.

"Alright. ...Hmm...Well..." He pondered for a while. He was never in a relationship before but he tried his hardest to imagine what he would feel like if he was in their situation. He finally spoke after several agonizing minutes.

"To be honest, I think it would be better to leave them be... if you still want Jason. This might sound harsh, but Selia and Jason really do seem to like each other. And...and I'm sure you'll find someone better - not saying Jason is bad or something though. Oh! But mind you, I've only known them for a short while so I maybe wrong... If you still feel hopeful, then maybe stay with them as a friend? Who knows? maybe you might able to see their relationship before making up your mind. It's up to you."

neptune began to frown - he felt bad for sherry, despite them being strangers. “i’m sorry,” he said, despite this whole thing not being his fault.

however, though, he did want to try and help. “uhh, would you want me to tell you what i think? i’m not in a kinda relationship like that — that stuff doesn’t really seem like my thing — but i could try to say something useful!”

“i think - think - that you should walk up to his booth when they’re both there. then, say hi and say you’re not dead. try and hold a casual friendly conversation with them both to catch up.”

“…but i don’t know. like i said, i’ve never been in a place like yours before. you don’t have to follow what i said, but if you want to, go ahead.”

neptune just hoped that he didn’t ruin anyone’s friendships by saying that. he really shouldn’t have gotten into their business, but he felt he had to. ‘she did make it sound like she was asking me a question about it,’ he thought.

the duo didn't realize that they would see her again so soon after their little distraction . the pair exchanged a look of mini panic, not knowing what exactly to do . bayley cuts in to buy gerard some time as to think of a plan "hmm.. maybe you could at a close-ish distance away but not too obvious where he gets.. i guess creeped out..-?" sherry looked down a little and nodded slowly to show that she understood . "yeah if he notices you and wants to talk to you then he will" gerard continues as both bayley and sherry were looking at him . "i guess so.. i don't want to disturb their peace.." sherry says in a soft sad-sounding voice . the pair then looked at eachother, each with furrowed eyebrows, maybe they could come up with another plan so everyone could be happy-?

gerard feels sadder and sadder the more sherry's expression morphs into sadness. it had been kind of rude to intrude on her interactions with jason.. they didnt know their history and were thinking rashly.

"cmon, you can hang out with us. im sure jason and seila will drift back over to us and we can soft re-introduce you. i think there are a lot of high emotions right now with how exciting the booth is! try not to think too hard about it and psych yourself out.."

gerard and bayley beckon sherry closer to some games near jason and seila.

Feelings. Feelings are everywhere, both good and bad. But then, the goobillee was all about feelings wasn't it? Sherry knows those around her meant well, it is evident in their expressions and postures. Her expression brightens a bit, an idea forming. "Sing a shanty with me," she encourages. "I know just the one actually..." And then a soft voice carries into the crowds.

"The Wellerman" was the song that carried, even if it had a trace of sadness still remaining. Jason's ears admittedly went upright, as he looked at Selia.

"Who... who is singing?" she asks softly.

"An old friend," he encourages. "Who... might think she is alone. Who I thought was... hmm. Lets sing along. Shanties are designed to build bonds..." And so the pair began to sing along as well, while Selia gentle prodded Jason. Time to find his friend! They followed the voices, followed the crowd, until finding Sherry herself standing there.

"Jason...?" Sherry asks, which makes him nod. "Look I am not here to break anythin' up, I just wanted you too know that I'm alive and..." He strode forward, embracing her... before pulling Selia in as well.

"Who says yer breakin' anythin' up? Bah, as if a pirate's heart is that small! 'Sides, Selia here? She's a marine biologist and I bet Sherry here has seen some weird things durin' her time away..." Before he knows it, indeed, the pair of girls are chatting up a storm about the seas. Relieved, Jason looks towards any of the goobies gathered.

"...Thanks for... bein' 'round. I'll admit I ain't sure what to do next. I jus'... I wan' ta see 'em both happy." He grins a slight. "Got a nice singin' voice by the way. Know any local songs we can sing to bring things together? Or any er... activities about we can bond over or... yanno... stuff! Tch, I'm terrible at this kinda stuff but you lot seem to know what yer doin'..."

“balloon goobies!!” neptune exclaimed. “that’d be so fun… we can all make each other! i’ll teach everyone how!!”

to his dismay, no one seemed as excited as he was - nobody really reacted. “oh… no balloon fans? just me? alright…” he sounded defeated, but wasn’t willing to give up.

“well, what about songs? hm.. uh…… well..” to be honest, neptune didn’t really know any group songs - well, just one. “the gooble dance—?” nervously awaiting the response of the crowd, he began pacing.

most of the bystanders seemed confused. some liked his suggestion, but others had a strange look on their face. “well, does anyone else have any ideas then?!” neptune had begun to work himself up, and started to run away from the crowd in embarrassment, and to avoid screaming at anyone while he was upset. it was about time to get to his booth, anyways - étoile was probably wondering where he went.

the brightly colored pair jammed along to the tunes the trio in-front of them were playing, taking in their genre of music with every note that played from their mouths . this wasn't their typical genre of music but they appreciated every bit of it knowing many around the world resinate with this genre . bayley and gerard sat next to eachother on a picnic table and bopped their heads in unison while listening , as the song was drawing to a close the trio was now giggling and chatting about their oceanic interests as well as sherry not wanting to seperate the duo, one of which she had a bond with . they then turned to ask the pair sat at the picnic table what type of music they listen to . "so whatcha listen to back home-?" the two of them looked at eachother smiling know exactly what song they wanted to play .

gerard allows himself to move with the music, laughing with bayley and the crew to each new song and faintly familiar melodies. the music lifts his heart comfortingly. it feels good to be surrounded by so much positive energy, he finds himself genuinely enjoying everyones company.

the question almost makes him bust out with laughter and he catches bayleys eye in a side-smirk.

"well--- theres a few songs but this one is really popular.. it brings people together for sure. its got a good message and a great beat, i really think you'll enjoy it."

gerard adds the song to the queue...

and then the first note starts

Everyone cannot help but laugh as the entirety of the goobilee festival gets rick-rolled. Spirits are high, and they reassure Neptune they would love to learn how to make balloons. It was something else to see, an entire place of good energy, high spirits, and smiles. The entire area simply radiates it, and as night starts to arrive fireworks begin to go off in the sky in brightly colored hues.

"Watch this!" Sherry told the others, as with powers over water she raised her paws and made a rainbow of water arc over the fireworks. "Do any of you have any signature tricks you can show off before we all have to head back?"

"...I 'ave a few but not in front of the kids," Jason joked, making both ladies shove him into the nearby water with a laugh. "Everyone's a critic!"

Kallinikos stood there for a moment, dazed at the fireworks and the rainbow. Soon other goobies started to show off their own neat tricks. Cheers, laughs and encouragements filled the night. Kalli followed along, clapping and smiling at each trick. Kalli would have loved to show his talent - making delicious jam-filled doughnuts. However it would take a little too long for the night. Maybe one day, he'll prepare a small tea party with his special jam-filled doughnuts and invite those who might be interested. "..If there is anyone interested in my doughnuts..." He quietly murmured before clapping at another wonderful trick.
