“let’s do it!!” said neptune, excited to play some games. arcades always made him happy - everything was so cute and bright! and having a competition against selia seemed like a lot of fun! he was eager to get started.

they first went up to the skee-ball machines. they weren’t really neptune’s favorite - the sounds of the balls hitting things they aren’t supposed to scares him a bit, but it was what selia suggested so he went along with it. shot after shot, neptune got more and more upset at the game, as he scored 600 points.. all 6 balls went into the 100 point cups. that was 60 tickets, which wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything close to the 1,000 ticket jackpot.. however, he kept his spirits high because he wanted selia to have a good time.

“how about we try the pirate wheel spin game??” neptune asked, with selia nodding her head in agreement. “3….”

“2……..”

“1….”

“SPIN!” they both said in unison as neptune spun the big led-lit wheel. the two stared in awe as the wheel spun, and both hoped for the jackpot.

the wheel started slowing down, nearing closer and closer to their prize. suddenly, bells started going off and lights began to flash! they had won 10,000 tickets - the jackpot!

“yay!!” they screamed. excitedly, they ran to the prize booth after receiving their tickets to claim their plushies - they had enough for selia’s pirate goob plush and something for neptune. “i’ll choose this bunny plush!” he said.

after their exciting win, the pair ended their arcade adventure by playing a casual game of air hockey and went back to the connections booth.

After talking with Veen the 4 went on outside the zoo and bumped into Funko and Comon.
"Y'know, I heard theres games here, i kinda wanted to play some o' them." Funko said after talking a bit with the others.
Tangys eyes lit up, there was games here!? Apparently, she did not get lost enough.
"You coming, love?" He asked Comon.
"Hmm, not now, i think i wanna catch up a little more." Comon answered with a smile.
"Alr! Ill see you in abit, im gonna go play" Funko started to walk away.

"Wait!" Tangerine said.
Funko looked at her.
She stumbled over her words. "C- can I come with you?"
Phone looked at her, surprised.
Funko grinned.
"Of course."
"YAY!" Tangerine jumped to where Funko was, following him.

"Huh. I didnt know she liked games."
"Beh, Shes full of secrets." Sugar responded.

Veen spoke up, sounding rather nervous...? Maybe even excited. "...Well, we cant just let them go on their own! The place is probably gonna go down in flames if we do! I better keep an eye on them." She lied.
"Pfft, Alright then!" Comon said as Phone giggled at the comment, watching her go behind the other 2.

In reality, Veen went to search for a gob, who she recently discovered was named Delilah.
And there she was, in all her glory, hidden under a cloak, looking at the festival, mesmerized by everything in it.
When they noticed eachother, they silently talked and Delilah followed Veen as she showed her around.
Until they bumped into Funko and Tangerine.

"Who is that?"
"Its a uh- friend of mine. Dosnt matter."
Tangy stared for a little longer, suddenly recognizing the Gob of Space before her very eyes. "A GO-!?"
Veen quickly out her paw to her mouth to shut her up. "SHHHH! Okay fine, i dragged her here."
"Well, not precisely dragged, dear, but you did invite me here." The gob spoke lowly.
Funko was frozen.
"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!!" Tangerine whisper-screamed. "My siblings are NOT going to believe this."

Funko snapped out of their shock state, asking the two why this had happened.
Apparently, the gob had received a letter that invited them, and now they wanted to try some games.
...interesting.

...So a gremlin child and a gamer boy were dragging a luck charm and a litetal gob now around a ver crowded festival, huh? Wild.

Eventually, the 4 split up, Funko and Tangerine going their own direction, their goal? To get as many plushies from the games as possible.
Meanwhile, Delilah and Veen hung out, Veen attempting to teach her how the games work, even though she never really played herself either, so it ended up being both of them learning together.

The cloak keeping Delilah concealed from the hundreds of pairs of eyes was.. Well, flimsy at best, and rather outdated. She worried incessantly if it made her stick out more than blend in. Her blessedly excessive height already put her heads above the rest, quite literally. Delilah hunches herself as she shuffles between goobs following Veen around.

The first game Veen picks confuses her greatly. There are dozens of small yellow creatures floating about in an oval of moving water. The tent they stood under had dozens of small, fuzzy, and brightly colored fabrics in the shape of unrealistic animals. Delilah did not see the appeal, though Veen seemed particularly interested in a number of them. Delilah produces some tickets from the pocket of her cloak and hands them to Veen who then hands them to the booth runner.

"Veen... I do not understand... They are so little. What are these things?" She watches a young goo with a stick grab one of the floating yellow plastics and look at the bottom before hooting with joy. Delilah grabs a stick of her own and clumsily drops the magnet in. When a plastic connects to the tip of the line she pulls it out to evaluate the number.

"This says the number four."

The booth runner attempts to show the lower prizes to Delilah and Veen, but the gob reaches up to pluck out one of the bigger soft animal toys from the roof of the tent and gives it to Veen while the employee watches with his jaw dropped open in surprise.

"Come along, Veen. Show me more of these games you enjoy..."

[Griff]

"Looks like we got more than enough together for the pirate!" Selia informed cheerfully, her smile bright. "Make sure to get something for yourself too, you've earned it!" She waves to head off, thanking you profusely before she goes!

Before one can make it back to the main stretch, they encounter a strange looking goobie. She looks like the seabed itself has drowned and started to walk. Coming up to you She waves. "Ah hello! My name is Sherry! I was told I could find a goobie named Calamity Jason here have you seen him?" She smiled softly. "We er, used to be sweethearts before the ship wrecked and... I'd like to catch up you know. Maybe... see how things go!" She has a slightly wistful look, hope in her eyes.

...Selia better hurry back to the booth first! Maybe a distraction... or fo you help the visitor first? Decisions, decisions.

Kallinikos just bought a cute doughnut plushie as memento when he heard the commotion.
'Oh no...Should I help Selia out?' He thought. 'But, this has nothing to do with me... I should stay out. After all, it's ultimately Jason's decision to make.' He thought to himself. Selia looked troubled while the new goobie, Sherry started asking about Jason to nearby goobies. '...But, Selia did help me out before...And Jason also seem to have feelings for Selia.' Kalli let out a sigh. He made his mind up. He took a deep breath and headed towards Sherry.

"Hello, Sherry. I'm actually looking for Jason too. Maybe we should search together. If... if you don't mind. I did see him not long ago, so maybe he's still there?" Kalli hesitantly asked Sherry.

Her eyes sparkled at the idea and agreed to go together. Before he took off with Sherry, he gave a hopeful nod to Selia. Selia took off, whether she noticed the sign or not. He really hoped Selia met with Jason before he and Sherry did.

And so, Kalli and Sherry went around the festival. He made a large loop of places that he was sure Jason would never visit. Or he hoped he didn't at least. They went past the real-sized gingerbread house, the gleaming fashion shows and the astonishing food competitions.

"Are you sure Jason went in this direction?" Sherry questioned with a hint of doubt in her voice.

She looked somewhat agitated and started to question his navigation skills. Beads of sweat started to foam at his forehead and his paws. 'I can't delay this any longer. She's going to fully suspect me if I do.' He realized. He stopped going around in loops and started backtracking the way back to the Calamity booth. Not long after, they finally found Calamity Jason and Selia in the distance. 'I hope I gave her enough time.' He thought as Sherry and he finally reached them.

neptune quickly began chatting with the visitor, giving selia time to go back to the booth. “hi, sherry!” he hoped that he could show her around the goobilee festival while selia returns to her station. “we can go walk around all the different booths to try and find him! i know what he looks like,” he added, trying to sound convincing.

he first led the visitor to the goobily card booth, where he showed sherry all the cards goobies were making. “you could write him a card at some point, if you’d like!” neptune excitedly said. “however, he won’t know it’s here unless he checks the booth…. so we can go to the next booth!”

they then walked over to sweets’s wheel of kindness! “here, you can spin a super cool wheel and win some great prizes!” he also showed sherry how to use complements and drawings to get more spins. “cool, right? :D”

“now, here’s mine! hi, étoile!” neptune was very excited about his and étoile’s booth, the balloon bash! “here, i’ll give you a love dart! you just throw it at the of the balloons and win a prize!” so, she did. she won 0 gookies, though.. “aw man! there’s always tomorrow, though!”

fearing he hadn’t given selia enough time, neptune decided to take sherry in line with him to get some pretzels. “they’re very good!” he exclaimed while holding 3 of them - one for him, one for sherry, and one for selia!

at last, they arrived at calamity’s connections. “hello, selia!! we got you a pretzel!” he smiled and gave selia the snack. “unfortunately, we couldn’t find jason..” he said in an effort to try and not make sherry suspicious of the tour.

gerard and bayley stand aside in selia's wake, chattering amongst themselves and laughing over their skillfully won prizes. he turns to look at the approaching. immediately his heart sinks into the pit of his stomach. sherry? this changes things. selia needs to get to calamity jason as soon as possible.. maybe they can serve as a distraction!

"oh yeah? uhm-- yeah i know him. he's helping run the event.. i think he's over at the petting zoo right now! how about we take you there?" gerard taps bayleys leg with his foot, hoping she will play along...

after feeling a nudge, bayley catches gerard’s drift . “yes -! we actually were about to head on over towards that direction” sherry replied with a quick thanks followed with a smile . gerard started to walk off in the direction where the petting zoo sat on the festival grounds . on the trek to the petting zoo, gerard looked back to make sure sherry was distracted and proceeded to nudge bayley’s shoulder as a quick thanks for going along with his plan, bayley returning a quick smile .

after arriving at the petting zoo and searching, already knowing he wouldn’t be found there bayley blurted out an “i guess he isn’t here, maybe he left a lil bit ago, so he might be around-!” sherry followed that up with a quick reply “i’m sure i’ll find him-! thank you guys for your help, i’m sure you guys have to be somewhere so i’ll keep searching on my own-“ “alrighty-! hopefully you can find him in-time .” gerard said in reply .

the pair then left the petting zoo area, once at a far enough distance from the petting zoo area they proceeded to giggle a little as their plan worked out how they expected it to .

Comon had gone off to find Funko (and Tangerine), leaving Phone, Hooves and Sugar alone.
These last three decided to keep walking around the festival, eventually finding their way back to Selia, and hearing about Sherry.
Uh oh.
They decided that they could get Selia some time.
Phone had hopes that with enough time, some sort of confession could happen between her and Jason, causing Sherry's appearance to end up either in a throuple, or in at least Selia and Jason being happy together.
The other two gremlins absolutely agreed.
Their objective: Make as many distractions as possible.
They saw others take it easy, avoiding seeming suspicious, showing Sherry around and distracting her lightly.
But they? They were going to be loud and obnoxious, a bother, something big.

...So it was time to wreak havoc.

If they had to make sherry trip into traps, they would.
If they had to break a bunch of games, they would.
If they had to set the entire place on fire, they would.
Everything is fair in love and war, after all.
And the three would do anything for the 2 booth runners.

The reactions are swift: distract Sherry! While Sherry was having a good time, she genuinely did not suspect anything odd as of yet. After all, it was a big event! Meanwhile, Selia had more than enough time to get back to the booth. Upon arriving there, she could not help but have a smile. "Er... I've got something for you," she says, holding up the plush awkwardly. "And well... something else too. Something I have been meaning to say for awhile..."

"Oh?" Jason asked, reaching forward for the plush and holding it tight a moment. It seemed he genuinely liked it.

"Yeah. Say er... we've been friends for awhile but I'd kinda like... that is if you're okay with it... would you be my..." Jason tilted his head slightly, before leaning in to steal a kiss.

"That answer yer question. Heh, been tryin' to say the same myself. Ya beat me to it, congratulations!" He gestured her in vloser, leaning against her.

Meanwhile, a short distance away, Sherry caught sight of the pair and exhaled out. "...It has been some time huh?" She says softly. "Makes sense that... well I am happy for him. Should I say anything to him or just... leave him be? He looks so happy..." She has a sad, slightly regretful look in her expression. "I want him to know I am not dead... but I do not want to break them up either ya know?"
