I mean, you’re welcome to come to my prison, which features 8:00 AM 5-hour chemistry labs in which my TA speaks even less English than I do and we’re handling chemicals that would kill an elephant if inhaled so we can write 5000-word reports on the significance of one chemical turning into another chemical that has a slightly different density. And that density value happens to depend entirely on 20 different integrals, because everything does. Don’t even get me started on aircraft control systems, traditional compressible flow analysis, or the very existence of Matlab.

Engineering kind of sucks, but I love it because it challenges me. :’)
