put in 2 applications to adopt some young kitties.
both were born around March, and are about 3 months old. rescued from a fire.
a little calico girl and ginger boy.
hopefully we get approved!!

there was an adult kitty i was looking at too. he was a super pretty boy. one green eye and his other eye was half brown half blue.
unfortunately he doesn't get along with other animals or kids so my home won't work with him, but i hope he finds a good home and someone will be lucky to get such a neat little guy!

update 5/31: we got approved!!






i'm so so excited to add them to my family soon!

i'm going to name her Capricorn Sol and call her Capri because i think that's heckin' cute
and his name will be Leo August and he's going to be my little alien auggie

apparently, the girl i was going to adopt was already taken when i got there but i got another calico girl! same name for her. i'm in love.
she's so talkative and he's quite shy.
i walked into the kitten room and she immediately bit onto my leg and that was the end right there lol
she had to come home since she chose me.

he spent most of the day in the crate but a little bit ago he did come out and play! he's a talkative boy too. he hasn't come to me for pets yet which i'm sure will take him some time. but he's already made progress, and i'm proud! they do great together. her being so social seems to be easing him out his shell.




Capricorn was born February 16th. Leo was born March 16th.

Leo has made some amazing progress, he's finally coming to me for love! he wasn't letting anyone pet or touch him, or even get too close to him but he'll come right up to us now. he's a chatty boy, and a foodie too lol. i got them a bunch of new toys, his favorite being the goldfish.
Capricorn is still doing great, she's also found her favorite toy. she's loved the snuggles since she got here! they love playing together too.

the other cats have accepted them basically right away as well! they've made great additions, and we all love them. ❤

Leo reminds me so much of my old kitty Cazimi! He was a big, fluffy, mostly sweet but sometimes cranky boy. We often wondered how such a tiny tortie like his mama Azrael could have had such a big boy lol. I hope Leo likes treats more than my boy did, makes training and building trust easier. c':

he sounds like he was adorable.
i think he's going to be a pretty big cat. he looks similar to one of my mainecoons when he was a kitten.
he for sure loves treats though! he'll eat anything you hand him. Capricorn not so much, but she's a lot more play driven than him so her praise will be some play time.

I got this really sweet picture of my old lady Gabby, felt obligated to share because why not. c':
She spends most of the day just sleeping on that bath mat, only times she'll leave is for food, water, to go to the litter box, and occasionally because she wants affection. She's just at that point in her old age where she's perfectly happy to sleep the day away I suppose.

So funny story i thought to share here, i think my cats are telling other cats where a crazy cat owner lives xD
So i have several cats, two of which are bengal mix siblings brother and sister my cats go outside and inside when they want and our area has tons of cats almost everyone owns between 1-2 cats here so i suspect mine meet a lot while out
funny thing is about a week ago i left my window open and looked up from using my laptop to see a male tuxedo cat just staring me down he'd come through my window and he was NOT my cat, he even has a collar
my own two cats went on as if they knew him just let him in our house like "Yeah mom hes cool"
he proceeded to make himself at home and has visited almost every single day after that he chills with my cats, plays with the toys and sleeps on the floor as if hes part of the family and as if my cats already knew him
think their inviting their friends from outside over xD hes so lovely and friendly though havnt seen him in a few days but i hope next time to put a note on him if he returns to find his owner and tell them how cheeky he is he even has a little moustache

my ginger senior cat also went missing 3 weeks back while i was on holiday, luckily by a miracle a week ago rspca called us and had caught him so hes finally home and safe, he'd escaped my brothers house when i was on holiday and was found miles away 3 weeks after its crazy to think how far he walked within those 3 weeks but were glad hes home safe
