New Members: A pregnant she-cat named Raincoat joins. She doesn't talk much about her past, but she does say that she came to the clan because she wanted to have a safe place to raise her kits.

Hunting: Falleaf and Hiddenhollow hunt for some prey. Raincoat tries assisting where she can, knowing full well that next moon she will be unable to help.

Boarder Patrol: Marshstar, Flintstrike, and Greycloud

Consumption: None yet, since fasting period is still active. This will change next moon.

Starclan Visit: Marshstar decides now is the time to ask for a medicine cat. She heads to the moonpool and makes her request.

Hunting (Bumblewing's patrol); Bumblewing's patrol
catches x1 vole and x1 rabbit! Shadedmoss
steps on a sharp rock and her pawpad became infected
before she could get it properly healed. She will need
2 moons of rest and x1 sweet-sedge.

Hunting (Pinefur's patrol); Pinefur's patrol catches
x2 hares! Unfortunately, Tansyleaf, distracted by a vole
in some foliage, did not see the fox trap in front of her when
she dived to catch the vole. When the patrol rushes to her after
hearing her screams, she had lost too much blood and nothing
could be done...

Patrolling (Ambergaze's patrol); Ambergaze's patrol is
uneventful...

Patrolling (Ebonystar's patrol); Ebonystar's patrol was
lucky, as the predator, an adolescent fox, didn't put up much
of a fight. The only cat who came out with an injury was Angelmist,
who received a small cut and will need 1 moon of rest or x1
horse tail.

Herb Gathering; The Medicine cats gather x1 foxglove seed, x1
burnet, x1 stick, and x1 dried oak leaf.

Training; Pantherpaw, Cicelypaw, and Briarpaw learn a skill!
Stubbypaw passes, but receives a scratch, and Stubbypaw will need 1
moon of rest.
Frogpaw failed to learn anything this moon...

Family; Lazulisong gives birth to two kits! Luckily, no herbs
had to be used. The first kit is a shorthair black with low white

Whiskered Away

Hunting (Gentleman's patrol); Gentleman's patrol finds x1 scraps!

Hunting (Rainstorm's patrol); Rainstorm's patrol catches x2 large fish
and x1 small fish! Unfortunately, tragedy strikes as Troutcreek, who is
trying to show Fogpaw a new way of fishing, loses her footing and falls into
the lake. The patrol manages to rescuse her, but the she-cat is already dead
by the time they recover her body...

Patrolling (Northstar's patrol); Northstar's patrol is cut short due to
Seashell develops a cold, and will need 1 moon of rest and x1 catmint.

Patrolling (Nightfall's patrol); Nightfall's patrol is attacked by a wild dog! The
entire patrol is injured, but they chase the dog away. Nightfall is scratched and will
need 1 moon of rest. Roadrunner receives an infection and will need 1 moon
of rest or x1 marigold. Stargazer is bleeding from his ear and requires 1 moon
of rest, and Bixley receives the worst of the attack, barely living. She suffers from
severe bleeding and a broken femur, and will require 3 moons of rest and x2 cobwebs.

Training; Bacup fails, and to add insult to injury, she is stung

Fogpaw grieves. She was a mommy’s girl and now feels extremely alone and helpless, having lost both her mother and mentor. Fishpaw and Woodpaw grieve as well, but try to cheer up their sister. To no avail.

Nightfall is having a hard time. He managed to chase away the dog that attacked his party, but did not prevent them getting injured. Luckily at least his apprentice’s infection was healed quickly. Roadrunner helps take care of him and Stargazer and their kits, growing close to them and becoming part of the family. She’s still very young and completely alone in the world, so the pair decides to adopt her. Runner is thrilled to gain such a large family.

Briston come over to the Sylph’s den to check on his sister. Whenever he’s there he tells her about the town he had been visiting. She likes listening to his stories, it reminds her of the times Thornblaze used to tell them tales when they were young. Bixley feels like she’s very unlucky and always getting injured. She starts wondering if there’s a way she could be useful to the clan and stay in it, but avoid going on patrols. Unlike her brother she prefers to stay home anyway, it’s much more fun.

Seashell still has a crush on Nightfall. She tried to avoid him and go on different patrols and feels awkward meeting him in the medic den, especially since his mate is there too.

Northstar develops a metaphorical headache. She feels like she’s losing the grip on her cats. Everything is looking far from what she imagined her kingdom would be. She makes a request to Starclan, partially because she needs able bodies and partially to gain reassurance that Starclan has not forsaken her. When she needs to join two patrols this moon she starts thinking that it might be time to appoint Whetley her deputy.

Gentleman and Shark were supposed to be the perfect duo of leaders of their peaceful and calm camp. At least, that was what Shark had planned. Reality turned out to be different. Gentleman was making decisions on his own and seemed more hungry for power every day. By the end of the moon he decides that Northstar is right about kittypets and they should not be allowed in the clan, especially that gullible, good for nothing Sylph. He plans to chase her away and enters the medicine den. He attacks Amber, but Sweetbee gets in his way and protects her. He receives a couple of new scars and will need to rest for a moon longer, but Amber is safe. Gentleman leaves dissatisfied when other cats rush to the scene, but promises to return.

“He says he’s going to burn the place to the ground”. Bacup sounded very concerned when he confined within Sweetbee shortly after his talk with Songbird. “I’m worried about him. He’s going mad. He hates everyone, thinks that our friends are now enemies and are plotting against him. He even asked Aristaeus to help him take down Gentleman.” Sweetbee looked up at his friend, a similar concern in his eyes, but with a hint of disbelief as well. He spent the last moon in the Sylph’s den and had not seen Songbird. It was hard to believe that someone as sweet as him could change so much in such a short time. “Did he help you talk Song out of it?” Bacup shook his head. “No, in fact, he’s egging him on. I think he just wants to fight. He fights for fun, the weirdo.” Silence fell between them as each tried to come up with a solution. “Well, it will be bad if anyone fights, but we don’t really have to worry about fire, right? I mean, Song can’t just summon a firestorm.” Bacup lay his ears flat on his head. “I don’t know. He seemed weirdly confident when he said that. He has that weird look in his eyes…” He shuddered. “Anyway, I’m gonna keep trying to stop him from being weird. I can count on your help, right?” Sweetbee nodded and smiled briefly, but truly. “Always.”

- With Falldancer having no family in the clan, Glowpelt, her former mentor takes charge in honoring her memory
- While Oceanlight is still shaken from Laurelstars lost life, she takes time to comfort Snowflare, who feels like Falldancers death is his fault.
-Glowpelt also feels like Falldancer’s death was his fault, but reveals this to no one.

- Upon finding Rueslash and Willowheart, Rueslash immediately asks Laurelstar to take Willowheart into her clan.
- Rueslash explains that she is the mother of a clan leader, who is also the father of Willowhearts kits. His actions have made it clear that Willowheart and her kits will not be safe.
- She turns to leave, but stopped by Laurelstar, who asks if the elder wouldn’t also like to come to the clan, as she is sure Rueslash son will not be welcoming if he realizes what she has done.
- Rueslash tries to turn down the offer, but is persuaded by Willowheart, who says she has some to see Rueslash as a mother to her.

- Bluestorm decides that her patrol should go out an chase of the rouges, hoping to prove that she is more than capable of taking in bigger roles in the clan.

- Lighthearts body is founds clan chaos erupts
- Snowshoe is sent to find her siblings and inform them
- Windclaw accuses Shadestripe of the murder, citing his former rouge heritage
- Sleekshine, defensive of her former apprentice argues that that is no motive in its own
- Creamfoot ushers a grieving Dawnrush away from the fight, so that she may be in peace, as well has rest with her injured daughter Fernpaw
- Laurelstar calls for silence, and says there will be no accusations going on in her clan
- Spothop argues that the accusation has merit, but is brushed off
-she states a team will be formed to investigate the matter, and she will hear no more for anyone else.
- Tigerheart and Snowshoe comfort each other after the death of a sibling, and seeing a clan mate die

-Cloudedice, also in the medicine cats den for her kits, helps Creamfoot comfort Dawnrush
-Creamfoot and Dawnrush fall asleep curled up together

-Later A ragdoll kittypet wonders into the clan, leaving them to wonder how a kittypet got this far out
- He is given the name Sealpaw, and given a mentor
- Windclaw tries to protest, but Laurelstar has “heard enough out of him today
- Shadowsight takes interest in the kitty pet

- The next day Rookstrike is found my Spottedsong, in poor shape and with missing memories

- Jaggedear has been more attentive to Briarcreek with all of the events going on in the clan
- Flamehope says she’s sure that the Tom is interested in Briarcreek

- Brushfang is worried for Laurelstar and Briarcreek, but refuses to talk to them
- the newly joined elder Ruestrike is unimpressed with his behavior, though jokes about how she’s unsure if this clan was the right one for Willowheart

- Tigerheart overhears Spothop ranting to Windclaw about Laurelstar is handing his sisters death, and is uncomfortable about how Windclaw convinces his brother that she is covering for the real murderer
- He continues to listen as Spothop leaves and Bluestorm arrives, and they talk about how “the plan” is going

- Shadowsight comes to the group and says they may be running out of time
- Glowpelt says he’ll request a patrol, and try to tail Windclaws patrol

- Shadestripe is worried about his place in the clan

✦border patrols are cats that are sent out ahead of the majority of the clan as they travel, to make sure the way is clear of any danger like two-legs or predators, as they are traveling with nursing mothers, newborn kits, and elderly-cats among their ranks.✦
✦tearkit is found and brought to emeraldchin to be raised with her kits, tears in her eyes as she names the molly.
✦lemurpounce's sudden death is unexpected, and the cat is mourned as the body is buried, the last cat laid to rest in the graveyard.

✦the day is upon them, after these months of preparation; moving day. cats rush around to pack up the prey that has been recently caught in an attempt that it can be saved for their journey to.. wherever they're going. practically every cat in the clan helps as the clan begins to move; some carry little leaf-wrapped packages of herbs or prey, others provide a physical support for the fallen or injured to lean on should they get winded, and others still help the nursing-mothers carry their young kits in their maws.
✦as they set up in their first "temporary camp", only planning to spend the night in the forest clearing just on the outside of what used to be their clan's territory border, some cats set up a perimeter patrol around the clan, rotating shifts all throughout the night to ensure safety. the cheribum are attempted to still be taught skills by their mentors before the clan settles in for the night; who knows how long they'll travel, no point in holding back the cheribum for unknown countless moons.

Notice that Whisk is scaring all the fish away after Infra comments on it angrily to Vulpes.

Imbe is glad Medidae caught on to herbs. Medidae feels proud of herself too and goes to flex on Pyrrhus, who gently laughs as his kits watch in confusion. One kitten, Bobo, trails after Medidae when she leaves, and starts questioning her about medic duty. Medidae provides what she can, though Bobo frowns at her and trails off after a bit. Imbe had seen it, curiosity sparking her.

Ravenus's four kits start jumping around in excitement, getting their mom a bit worn out as they talk about what thy want to grow up to be. The deaf kit, Sparrow, is confused when Ravenus takes her away with a bit of sadness on her face. Sparrow asks whats wrong, but cannot hear the answer.

STORY NOTES
─ One moon after the herb patrol's devastating end, Ivystar and Cricketpounce discuss their duties as clan representatives. Cricketpounce is only half-present, still grieving his son and showing depressive symptoms. Ivystar asks if he would like to step down as deputy and focus on himself. He accepts the offer, but asks to choose his own successor before he quits.
─ Jayswoop and Daisystem are greeted in the nursery by Greybriar. She presents to them Owlkit, an abandoned kit found on patrol, and asks if they have space to add a fourth into their fold. Deerkit, Tawnykit, and baby Flamekit have a new sister!
─ While they are out walking, Sunhollow makes fun of Cinderstorm when he admits he still hasn't spoken to Russetclaw. She then tells him that his hesitance may cost him the chance to learn more about his mother and to get past his lingering survivor's guilt. Cinderstorm agrees to talk with his uncle, but only if Sunhollow agrees to be there for moral support.
─ Mintfur, once again in the healer's den, chats idly with Honeyfrost and assists Betonypaw with her routine stretching to prevent muscle deterioration. In between questions about Darkpaw's warrior ceremony, the topic of mates and clan leadership comes up. Honeyfrost remarks that Mintfur would make a wonderful deputy.
─ Ivystar gives Rainpaw, Lightningpaw, Stormpaw, and Darkpaw their warrior names. The ceremony is lively as many SpruceClan cats attempt to make up for the lingering sadness in camp with roaring enthusiasm.
─ Goldenheart arrives in camp on cloud nine with a baby in tow. Cardinaltail is the first to meet Tadpolekit, Goldenheart's half of his litter with Hopfrog, but is certainly not the last as Goldenheart (loudly) tells anyone who will listen about his kit!
─ Badgerstripe walks around after Birchpaw, watching the undead apprentice eagerly explore SpruceClan's new territory. Birchpaw rambles on and on about the "looseness" of time and being present for Ivystar's birth despite his youth. He is distracted by a falling pine needle and pounces on it. Badgerstripe is disturbed by this, wondering quietly when the apprentice was last able to act his age.

The bones clattered to the ground, and the two mollies crowded around them, then breathed a sigh of relief, "The spirits say you are destined to join us." Amsoniastar announced, and Ronquilleap visibly relaxed.

"I've been wandering for moons, waiting for the right place to rest my paws." He confided, "No place seemed right until a reached here, and found you two."

Agavebranch nodded, "It is often like that with cats who truly have a destiny." She affirmed, "Though many cats have several places to land, there are a few of us who truly only have once choice."

"Well, now that I'm home, how can I help?" Ronquilleap inquired, squaring his shoulders.
