"So," Synth echoed, coolly turning her gaze to Anton.

"Why are you stalking us." It was more of a statement than a question. Anton loved scavenging, but meeting so many funky personalities on the trips was starting to wear him out.

Nix curiously peeked over Anton's shoulder in anticipation of the feathered werm's response. Synth trilled in amusement. "I found you interesting," she began, then paused for a moment. "I also noticed you have been very successful in navigating this dangerous area."

Anton was unimpressed. "So you wanted our loot."

Synth turned their head forward, happily humming a tune, effectively cutting that conversation short.

"Tch. Freeloader." Anton muttered in exasperation. Nix bumped into him affectionately with a chittering laugh.
