Molesprout - Medicine Cat - 65 moons
Molesprout waved his hairless tail over the herbs. "Because I've been on my paws all night while you snooze." Turning his attention back to the herbs he meowed, "None yet. I trust you know where they all go though." He grabbed one of the strands of comfrey root for himself and stashed it in his nest for later, his joints were bothering him.

Leopardfang - warrior - 32moons
Leopardfang nodded in response to Mistfur, a soft smile on her muzzle as she watched her apprentice. "She's a friendly young cat. It will serve her well." As Oriolegaze teased them Leopardfang couldn't help but laugh. "Alright! We don't want that. Let's get going then." She meowed trotting lightly after their deputy.

Rainpaw - apprentice - 10moons
Rainpaw followed his mentor but still kept pace with Oceanpaw thinking deeply before he answered. "One time when I was still a kit someone brought us a weasel! It was delicious!" he meowed his mouth watering at the thought of the prey. "What's your favorite?"

indentation Still eating his meal, Ray paused as movement in some bushes caught his attention. Lifting his bloodied muzzle up, the tortie tensed, waiting for another cat looking to steal his meal, or some other danger to appear. Only to blink and sigh when after taking a moment to check the scents around him, when he found it was only a mouse. "Relax Ray, no one's out to get you." The tom muttered softly before returning to his meal, dismissing the mouse. Mice are too stringy for my taste anyway. He thought absently, tail swishing from side to side as he ate.

indentation Oriolegaze huffed softly as Moonshadow teased him once again, and visibly rolled his eyes at her. It may be true, but he'd never admit that out loud. Giving his head a soft shake, the tom padded forward looking forward to the hunting prospects. A low purr rumbled in his throat, as the others joined him. His ears perked up in interest as Mistfur spoke, and nodded concurring with the paler spotted tabby. "I look forward to seeing how their training has gone, so far." He voiced to the warrior, lips twitching upwards into a slight smile for all of a heartbeat before he returned his attention to the world in front of him. Stepping out of camp was like a breath of fresh air, and it make his paws tingle with excitement. Glancing back at the two apprentices, and hummed for a moment before glancing up at the tree's around them wondering which tree would be best.

indentationWhile technically speaking, his question went unanswered, it didn't take long for it to answer itself. He looked forward to patroling and eventually training with the older apprentice. A soft purr rumbled in his throat, as he waited for the duo. Only for it to be cut off abruptly when Rowanflame darted over, and solely greeted Lightningstar. Evidently ignoring his own presence. Hawkpaw would admit it was mildly offended, it wasn't like he was invisible, or small. It was quite obvious that he was there, sitting only a few steps from his mentor. His irritation grew as he thought about it, and was thankfully brought out of his head when Stormpaw dashed over. "Good morning to you as well, Stormpaw." He roughly purred, as he turned his gaze to the tri-colored she-cat. "Are you looking forward to today?" He inquired softly with a twitch of an ear.

indentation As she lay there in the sunshine, the small molly turned her gaze to the medicine cat den. Maybe Molesprout or Thunderstorm will visit soon, to check on the kits? she mentally speculated, for all but a heartbeat before returning to her grooming for a bit. This being her first litter, and with the complications that have come with it, has been a bit stressful for her. After a time the she-cat paused to yawn and closed her eyes a low purr rumbling in her throat. Resting her head on her front paws, which her in front of her, she decided to rest for a bit out in the sun. Enjoy it while she could.

She looked at her mentor rather worriedly "why are you overstressing yourself? Nobody is not going to blame you if you sleep at night" she meowed to the hairless male cat. She looked at the herbs "yes of course...I know...but do you need any rest? I can finish those?" she asked him.

She watched as the group including her mentor left the camp, she felt a little disappointed in herself, a bit wonder too why didn't her mentor come to wake her up. She sighed and started to think about what else she could do now, she was not allowed to go outside of the camp by herself so she needed to find something to do inside the camp.

He peeked outside of the apprentice's den, he was pretty sure his mentor has left with the patrol already, so maybe he could now sneak out by himself. He didn't know why he had this feeling to do something bad this morning, even if this sneaking out could get into his own paws in the end he didn't care at the moment. Thought he could want someone to join him, but so far anyone else was out except for Petalpaw.

He walked deeper into the forest, flicking his ears over to any sounds he heard. He stopped at the very moment when he saw a little group of finches eating near some trees. He got down and started to stalk the birds, preparing to attack some of them. Slowly he waited for a moment before jumping out of the bush and catching one finch, sadly the rest of the birds fly away.

He walked over to the small brook he saw there, carefully he watched the water to see any movements there, but so far nothing. He slowly started to walk near the brook, to see if there could be any fish anywhere.

"Are you ready to head out, if you don't want to bring anyone else?" He meowed, looking back toward Lightningstar in anticipation.

Snowpaw’s night had been filled with nightmares, leaving her feeling rather unrested. Twitching her ears, the she-cat listened to the sounds of the bustling camp, hearing her clanmates chatter. She closed her eyes tighter, tucking her nose under her tail and hoping she could just go unnoticed for a while. She felt better now that everyone was awake and it wasn’t dark out. Maybe I can join a hunting party later. She thought to herself. With a sigh the she-cat decided that she should get up and see what was going on. Snowpaw lifted her head, letting out a big yawn before standing and stretching out her front legs. A shiver ran up her body and her claws sunk into the moss of her nest. Quietly she headed out of the den and looked around the camp. Just like she thought, everyone was out and about already. She felt a little sad at the fact that she wasn’t woken up to go but quickly spotted Petalpaw and headed in her direction. “Hey, Petalpaw,” she called softly, waving her feathery tail in greeting. “Looks like both of us got left out today.” She stated as she came to stand next to her fellow apprentice.

Coalstep had been awake for a while, though he hung back at the edge of the crowd, smoothing the fur over his shoulders and quietly washing his face as he listened to everyone. He didn’t like being in the middle of everything and unless directed he’d stay back and join patrols after the initial excitement of everyone wore off. Coalstep blinked the sleep from his eyes, still trying to wake himself up as he watched his busy sister prance around the camp excitedly. Sneering slightly, he turned his green gaze towards their leader and his apprentice, watching as Rowanflame bounded over to them. Before stretching his limbs and padding his way over to them, he yawned. Slowly he approached the tortoiseshell and their group. “Morning,” he mewed gruffly, walking up behind them. He met the eyes of Lightningstar, dipping his head to him before his eyes scanned over the rest of the cats, ignoring the looks from the two apprentices. “Mind if I join?” He asked, glancing at Nightfrost momentarily.

WILLOWBREEZE

Willowbreeze loved the mornings in her clan. Everyone seemed to be ready to go and she enjoyed the buzz of energy flowing through her clanmates. She walked confidently, tail raised, and relishing how the early morning sun shone onto her silver fur. Throwing out good mornings to everyone she walked by, Willowbreeze headed towards the fresh-kill pile. Frowning as she stopped her stride in front of it, she noted that it was quite diminished. Her pale green gaze lifted from the sad amount of prey to the middle of the camp. “Good, they’ve already got their patrols together.” She muttered to herself before her eyes landed on the heavily pregnant brown queen who was sitting in front of the nursery grooming herself. Face softening, Willowbreeze decided that she could go with an empty stomach and turned her attention back to the small amount of prey. She selected the last two mice from the pile, one being plump and the other quite scrawny before standing and bounding her way over towards the queen. “Good morning!” Willowbreeze said cheerfully around the mice tails between her jaws. She carefully placed them at Pineblossom’s paws. “I figured you may be hungry, how are you doing this morning?” She questioned, sitting lightly and curling her tail around her paws. And lonely. She thought to herself, deciding to make herself comfortable next to the queen.

FOXPAW

Foxpaw sat in the middle of camp with his ears pinned back. He felt useless in the moment, annoyed that everyone got to leave the camp and explore while he had to stay. His orange fur was fluffed with unease, turning his brown gaze to look around the camp. Suddenly he caught movement from the medicine cat den and all of his worries evaporated. He sprung to his paws and began making his way toward it. Maybe they can find me something to do. He thought. Plus, it wouldn’t be bad seeing the pretty tortoiseshell who worked alongside the less pretty, Molesprout. Poking his head through the bramble entrance his nose was assaulted by the strong scent of all the herbs. “Hello,” he called, scrunching his nose and fighting a sneeze. He didn’t know how they slept in here. Clumsily shoving his body through the brambles, he blinked, trying to adjust his eyes to the lighting in their den. Catching sight of Molesprout first he dipped his head slightly. He tried standing tall and matching the posture of the more experienced warriors as his gaze met Thunderstom’s eyes. “Is there anything I can help you guys with today?” Foxpaw asked, casually sneaking a glance at the pretty she-cat.

Molesprout impatiently flicked his tail upwards at the sun shining bright. "I'm trying to avoid getting sun burnt and using up all of our aloe." His skin burned easily in the bright sun and he preferred to spend his time in his den during the day. His attention was taken away from Thunderstorm as Foxpaw entered the den. "Yes." he meowed rather snappily. "Help her with putting these away and then you two can go spiderweb hunting." He knew they were nearly out of the essential supply. He let out a huge yawn before continuing. "I'm going to check in with Pineblossom and you two better be out of here when I come back. I need a nap." With that he padded out of the medicine den and over to where the queen Pineblossom and Willowbreeze were resting. "Good morning." He meowed to the queen finding a patch of shade to stand in while he spoke. "Any unusual aches or pains?"

Leopardfang - warrior - 32moons
Gave a nod of agreement watching her apprentice from the corner of her eye. She opened her mouth letting the air waft over her scent glands. She picked up far away scents of prey. "Oceanpaw" She mewed. "Tell us what you scent."

Rainpaw - apprentice - 10moons
Rainpaw heard the warriors chatting about watching how their skills were parring up and he stood straighter and pricked his ears trying to look alert and strong. It wasn't everyday you had you had to impress the deputy, your mentor, and your mother. Looking back at Mistfur he gave her a quick nervous look hoping he could impress her.

indentation Green gaze snapping back to Leopardfang as she spoke, before they flickered to Oceanpaw; her apprentice. He considered the apprentice for a moment before turning his eyes to Rainpaw. Both apprentices were the same age, but their temperament and skills varied, like all cats. He was fine admitting that he didn't exactly like training apprentices, but it was a necessary evil for the good of the clan. Letting his gaze wander over the group before the reddish-brown tom hummed and turned his gaze to a nearby tree. "If you catch sight or scent of any prey, feel free to go after it, but don't wander too far." He mewed softly, as his gaze flickered back to Moonshadow and Mistfur. "I'm going to head up and see what I can gather from the trees unless y'all need anything." Oriolegaze added with a questioning look. Oddly enough the tom actually preferred to hunt from the high ground, leaping down from a branch and killing it before it even had a chance to run.

indentationWith his natural slow blink the tom didn't appear all that startled when Coalstep also joined them. Much less when Rowanflame finally acknowledged his existence, something that he'd already pretty much thrown out of his mind in an attempt to be mature. Or at least look mature. That being said, the dark tabby also decided the best course of action was to ignore Rowanflame and Coalstep outright and kept all his attention on Stormpaw waiting for her reply.

indentation A jolt of pleasant surprise ran through her as Willowbreeze's voice jolted her out of her nap having joined her, two mice that weren't there before suddenly appeared. A pleased purr rumbled in her throat "Good morning, to you as well Willowbreeze." She curled her tail around her large belly protectively, even though she knew her clan mate wouldn't hurt her or her kits she was a bit on edge. "Well, I've been better. I swear these kits must be huge, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them wasn't big like their father." She mewed in good humor though there was some trepidation in her voice. The dusky tabby carefully took a bite of one mouse, purring roughly as she ate. Her eyes flickered up as Molesprout approached and quickly got to business. Pineblossom swallowed the bite of her mouse and smiled weakly, "No more than the usual, at the moment at least."

She gave a little embarrassed look as she realized her mistake "oh yes, I completely forgot about that...sorry about it" she said to her mentor with an awkward smile. She gave a look to Foxpaw, giving the ginger tom a smiling nod "good morning Foxpaw" she responded to him then looked back at Molesprout "cobwebs? okay" she said to him, with a sight. As the medicine cat left the den she looked back to Foxpaw "You hear him...right..." she said not sure what she could talk about with the tom.

She turned to look at the white apprentice, she was not even noticed anyone else in the apprentice's den except for her and Reedpaw, well she did see Foxpaw a moment ago, and she still could see if she just looked at the medicine cat dens way. She sighed with a nod "morning Snowpaw...yes we did, but what do you expect if you sleep too late..." she responded to her "I don't mind staying behind though...they will be back soon anyway and the Mistfur may take me out to do something" she said.

"Petalpaw, Reedpaw, Snowpaw why don't you three go check to see if the nursery and elders' den need new nests."

"I"m sure we'll be fine," Mistfur meowed when the deputy mentioned on going up into the trees. She noticed Rainpaw's nervous look from the corner of her eye and ran her tail down his side in an attempt to calm him. "You'll do fine," she whispered to him. "Just trust in your training."
