He's a quiet male that keeps to himself most of the time. They say 'First impressions are everything' so, looking at this brown and white pitbull what do you think of him? However, they also say 'Never judge a book by it's cover' but, are you able to look past this brute's scars to what lies underneath? Most would say yes, however, very few ever do. They look at his scars and missing eye and see a pitiful dog, a monster in other words. 'You don't get scars like that because you did nothing', 'Whatever happened he probably deserved', 'It's because he's a pitbull, they're all monsters' are just a few things both people and fellow dogs have said about him. Because of what has been said about him and done to him, it has made him quick to anger and quick to snap. He believes it's best to shove everyone away at first glance before they have a chance to comment on his ugly, scarred face. On the outside he's aggressive and perhaps slightly judgmental, not of what others are doing, but of what he assumes they will say to him. On the inside, however, he's just as scarred as on the outside. He's tired of fighting everyone, he's tired of having no one. While others have each other for comfort and good company, not even as a pup did he have anyone to comfort him. He's never known the comforting touch of another, only the fierce tooth and claw that rips at his fur. If you manage to cut through his rough exterior, you'll find a loyal, loving, new dog underneath.

HISTORY
He's had a rough life, even as a pup he had it rough. He was born on the streets, his mother and father constantly fighting not only with words but physically. They hated each other, but both refused to leave since they wanted to care for their pups. But, both of them staying only did more damage. Their fighting would always alert humans and other strays of there whereabouts and they would constantly have to move. The tension soon spread to Zane and his siblings and soon they began to fight as well, the stress of the whole situation boiled over as the smallest of problems seemed to be the end of the world. As soon as he could, he left to find a new life. Though what he found was worse than before. He was kept in a cramped cage, left for days without food or water, and constantly tortured. He was sure he was going to die, but luckily a fire broke out in the house. When the humans finally came back, the fire had just reached him, burning him slightly. But, he got out and he was sure the people that saved him were going to take him somewhere good, but it was even worse than the other house. This time, not only was he practically left for dead, they forced him to fight with the other dogs. His last fight was with the biggest rottweiler he had ever seen. He put up a good fight but, after being starved for days with little water, his body was failing him. He was taken to the ground and he blacked out. When he woke up, he was in an alley, bleeding out, and he blacked out again. When he woke, he was in a cage with many other animals. Although he had food and water, he refused to trust these people. After a few weeks of healing and resting, he was taken outside for a walk where he struggled away from his handler and ran, never looking back. Those people helped him, yes, but he refused to be tricked and he couldn't take the risk of being brought back to the same place from which he left.
