BIC: Aislyn blinked, surprised by what he just said. She just sat there, staring at him, her mouth open. "I'm... what?" Despite how much she hated Acton, she liked being second in command. In fact, she loved it. She loved the power that she had over other people, how she could terrify them. And now she wasn't? Hundreds of thoughts ran through her head, most about Acton. She started to shake out of anger. Jaw clenched, she stared at him, her eyes not filling with any tears. There would be no more for him, not after this. "Why?" she asked quietly, her voice harsh.

"You heard me. You're not really a leader type. Plus you're too emotional to be this kind of gang leader. If you want to lead using emotion, go to another gang. Other than that, I'd rather have someone else with more... quality, to be leader," Acton mused. "Plus, I can't exactly put all my trust into you. You wanted to run away, and now you want me dead," He added, then he made a dismissing motion with his hand. "Go away, now. You're of no use to me anymore."

Rubis looked at the guy sitting next to her, and asked, "What do you think of Hector's speech?" She waited for him to respond. The only reason why she was talking to Brandon was because she couldn't find Tyler anywhere and cannot go for a whole five minutes without saying something. Unless she was in class. "Oh, and have you happenned to see an angel with white hair and blue eyes? He's my boyfriend, and I haven't seen him today." Why she said the last part was to make sure that this guy didn't try to flirt with her.

BIC: "I'm not a leader type?" Aislyn hissed out, fury almost clouding her vision. "Who's the one who always saved you from the big bad kitty cats, huh? You never managed to kill Jacklyn or Urick, and I could have killed Jacklyn. But no, you were scared and flew off, and I thought I should keep the gang together." At that moment, she wanted to reach out and put her hand around his throat, letting her claws dig in and watch the blood swell around her fingers... Oh, god. She couldn't kill him. At least not here. He was stronger than her, and there were too many witnesses around. "You're too focused on the traitor, to the point where you're ignoring the gang. You have an unrational fear of cats, and of vampires. So who's the one who can't really lead the gang?" Her voice was trembling with her fury, with how unfair he was being. Dammit, he had been the one who had broken up with her! And with the crappiest excuse she had ever heard of, too.

"Eh, it was ok," Brandon said a little distractedly, not looking up. Twiggy, who was sitting on the floor on Brandon's side opposite Rubis, peered around and his eyes widened a bit. Brandon glanced up, tearing himself out of his worry for his sister, and looked at the girl he was sitting next to. His anxiety got worse, and he had a cross between surprise and shock on his face. Just as he was trying to compose himself to try and say something, Tyler found Rubis. "Hey, there you are," he said, sitting in the empty seat on her other side. He shot a quick glance at Brandon, the slightest bit of warning and protectivness in it, before turning back to Rubis. Brandon had managed not to react too strongly, which was unusual for him, but he felt like he was able to pass out inside. "This should be an interesting day," Twiggy mumbled, almost too quiet to be heard, from where he was laying now under Brandon's chair.

"Ugh..." Zarek scanned the crowd for whoever this band was supposed to be, clutching his stomach. "I feel sick, really sick." He muttered, standing up quickly and taking a deep breath. "I gotta get out of here for a minute, Lia... I'm going to be sick if I stay here any longer." He explained, ready to dash out of that gym and try not to get sick. Stupid nervousness.

"Insisted? I did not insist uppon playing some stupid song." Thorn huffed, crossing his arms and standing by the micrphone when Hector announced that the band would be playing. "Where's Chase, he's the guitar isn't he?" "Yup, I think." Kenyon shrugged, twirling his drumstick and scanning the crowd for the others.

Monique, hiding in the crowd and faking a conversation with some annoying really tall, really obnoxious guy who looked like a total nerdy loser(just a random student) from a comic book-literally, pocket rpotector, glasses, the whole deal- quietly listened in on Acton and Aislyn's conversation. Served the cocky bitch right, seh was way too certain of herself. One of the best things about the air element was that fire required oxygen, and getting rid of enough of it screwed any flame elemental over, but that didn't stop the second in command from getting it on with Acton. A fact which Monique was profoundly pissed off because of, and the reason for her smile at Acton's cruel words.

OOC: I feel bad for you, midnight XD Why? I just realized that the next Stephenie Meyer book in the Twilight series is called Midnight Sun :3

BIC: Blinking at his sudden words, Lia nodded, understanding. After Hector's speech, she herself had become incredibly nervous -- for him. She smiled up at him, softly, kindly. "Just make sure to say..." Goodbye? No, that wasn't the right word. "... something to me, before the battle." She wouldn't keep him here, not if he was truly scared about the upcoming battle.

Acton looked down at her, his eyes shrouded in a very dark color of green in a way of showing pure anger towards her. If he didn't need her to fight today, he would have killed her right now. "You stupid little bitch!" He growled, back-handing her across her head. "You do as I say without questions asked, do you get it? I'm your leader, and you're too much of a whiney girl to be in my sight. You're disgusting trash. Get out of my sight!" His sharp, dark green eyes stared down at her, obviously very annoyed that she didn't follow his orders.

The fire elemental looked at Brandon's surprise and shock, then arched an eyebrow at him with a skeptical look. However, her attention was brought back to Tyler as the angel came up to her. Her arms wrapped around him as a very gleeful look crossed her face. "Good morning," She murmured, giving him a kiss on the cheek. At least this was another good feeling for her. Ben, who was sitting by her, looked over at Twiggy and gave the male an awkward look. "I've never seen a species look like mine before, but you're... different from mine," The tolf mused as he looked around Twiggy's shoulders and back from a respectful distance. "Tell me, what species are you?" Ben was observing this new-comer to the school. The new male was young, and almost reminded Ben of himself.

OOC: Meh :3 She loves something about him that'll never go away, but she'd probably still hate him completely and utterly and never forgive him XD She's very prideful :3 She might melt under his kiss, but that doesn't mean that she would forgive him XD Who's the new second in command? x.x

BIC: Ducking just in time so that Acton's swipe glanced off of her, Aislyn winced as the pain still seared through her. Even when it barely hit her his swipes hurt. Her anger towards him bubbled up through her, wanting to be released so badly through her power. "You can't even come up with a good insult towards that, you coward! You can't even deny that a mere cat can bring you down!" Before he could hit her again, she spread her wings wide and launched upwards, her speed being of use here. He wouldn't have been able to hit her with how fast that had happened. Flying to the back of the room, she landed, feeling as if she could kill all of these students right now and not even care what happened to any of them. She would get revenge on Acton, one way or another...
