The break is over and it's time to head out again. Just when Neil and Mike are about to do so, they notice something... or rather someone.

At the edge of the market there's a small stall, if you can even call it that.

A lonely werm is sitting on a folding chair in the midst of paintings and sheets of paper. A few passing wermz glace at the artwork, but everyone is rushing to go scavenging and nobody stops to buy anyhting. He seems to be bored, but also a bit sad. Feeling bad for him, Neil decides to talk to the werm.

"Cool paintings. What's your name?"

"Thanks. I'm Dante," he seems to awaken from some kind of lethargy.

"Want to go with us?"

"...where?"

"We're going scavenging. Thought I'd invite you. You seem...," he searches for the right word.

"Resigned? Bored? Tired? ...you know what? I'll go with you. Doesn't seem like I'm going to sell anyhting today anyways. Just give me a moment to pack my stuff..."

"What were you selling, by the way? Other than the paintings."

"Mainly poetry, some sketches, too. Unfortuntely, not many wermz care about art enough to spend money on it...," he mutters the last part, clearly upset. "I'm sorry, It's just... I thought I could make a living like this, doing something I love."

"Who knows, maybe you'll love scavenging, too?"

"Heh, maybe. Let's go."

Dante finishes packing his things and the (now) trio sets off. ...despite Mike being obviously suspicious of the stranger. Like always.

Nix took the group on a more cautious route this time. They had seen feathers last trip, and unbeknownst to Anton and Lennox, there had never been been feathered wermz near the lab. Nix was a little concerned, but it knew the lab like the back of its paw— if they made it there okay, it could lead Anton and Lennox to safety should there be any danger.
