Blizzard had bad weeks more than bad days. Weeks where his mood was iffy, and his temper ran high. Somehow Mick had yet to be on the receiving end of Blizzard's sharp temper. "You’re really surprised by that?" He asked. The way he saw it…what WASN'T to like? Mick was small and cuddly, he was sweet, and kind, and he had the warmest eyes and the brightest voice. Anyone who didn’t love that was a fool.

"What?" Karter frowned, tilting his head to the side. "What the heck are you doin' in a lake? I hope you’re jokin', 'cause that sounds like…a lot." He didn’t know the right words to describe how it came off, and that was all that came out. "Yeah, sure! If it’s okay, I wanna do a quick sweep by the border while we're out though first. That chill? Duty calls and all."

Terra got up and stretched a bit, she looked around see who is awake

They approached Móraín and Blitz "Good morning Móraín and Blitz, Móraín will come on patrol with Cartel and I? Of course after you've eaten if you haven't already" they says

Storm had woken recently - she was a firm believer that getting enough sleep, even if it meant sleeping in later than some of her other pack mates, would ensure a better mindset for the day ahead. Indeed, she felt quite energized when she finally left the warriors den and her eyes were scanning the area for a warrior she could attend a patrol with. It was then that she spotted Aala just leaving the camp with Karter on her heels - a scout and a warrior? Perfect! Two's a couple, but three's a patrol, as the saying went.

"Aala, Karter!" She called and surged after them. "Wait for me! Are you going on a patrol? I'll tag along." She said as she came up between the two wolves with a grin.

"Of course. I’m ready whenever you are. Eager to get moving," Móraín agreed. There was work to be done, and if she’d been chosen for a patrol, then she was fine with that. As long as it got her moving and not sitting around anymore. She stood up and stretched. "Time for more gossip later, work for now."

"Exactly." Blizzard tucked Mick against his chest. This was all a lot to be taking in all of a sudden. However, it wasn’t a lot in an unpleasant way. It was just something he had to think about. "So…what do you think we do from here? Now that it’s all up in the air and all." The white Warrior cleared his throat. They’d been friends as long as they’d known each other, Blozzard would go to the end of the earth and back for Mick, so where did this leave them?

"Ah…that makes more sense. I wondered, since I’m not aware of there being a lake in our territory. A river, yes, but I’m sure nobody but Fish wants to swim in that. Fish is crazy." Karter's gaze was caught by a flicker of motion, then a voice sounded from not far behind them. "Hey, it’s Storm! Where've you been? Haven’t seen ya much lately!"

Blizzard was a bit hesitant to jump in just like that, but if he didn’t take Mick up on it now, sooner or later someone else would, and he would miss his shot based on hesitation. Besides, it wasn’t like he DIDN'T want it. He did. He just…had never had something like this happen before. Not to him. "Yeah, but can we just…take it one step at a time? I want to joy every second I spend with you."

These were his two favourite wolves. Beyond Toby and Valley, of course, but they were his siblings, he was SUPPOSED to be close with them. A day out with Storm and Aala though? Karter decided he couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day, no matter what they were doing. Aala, sweet and kind and gentle, and Storm, far more spirited and able to keep up with his energy. Sure, he felt the need to watch his step around her a little more, but only because he WORRIED about impressing her. Her tastes had always struck him as a bit more…picky than Aala, who was impressed by the smallest of things. With Aala, he couldn’t remember having done anything that came anywhere close to messing up. "Any plans for the day, Storm? Aala and I are goin' through the territory, checkin' out some places further into the forest, then goin' by the border."

"Probably. I’m kind of surprised nobody's put together an official patrol. Wanna see if we can grab another Warrior or All-Around or two and bring them with?" Blizzard suggested. He wasn’t blind to the shift on Mick's face. He knew it wasn’t what the white All-Around had been hoping for, but Blizzard feared that if he tried to rush right into something, he would wind up scared off, ruin any chances for them. Taking it slowly but surely would allow him to ease into things so he wouldn’t be caught off-guard, and things could flourish properly.

"Mick, talk to me. What’s going on? You look…upset. Or at least deep in thought about something." Sometimes it was hard to tell. Blizzard had never been the best at telling the two apart. "Come on...I know when something's gotten on your mind, and now is one of those times." Blizzard wrapped himself around Mick again, just for a heartbeat.

She opened her jaws to answer the other healer trainee but didn't have time to say anything before their mentor showed up. She blinked her eyes not so surprised that the healer was already sorted their herb storage "Good morning Terra, we were already waiting for you..." she said with a flick of her tail. She looked at Kotori as the healer finished talking "are you hungry Kotori wants to share something with me perhaps?" she asked the male trainee.

He narrowed his eyes "I didn't try to order you around, I just told you...you don't want to be around when the others get hungry and angry because of that..." he responded to her with a sight. His eyes looked to his half-sister Nyx there talking with Risen "hmm, well at least someone is being useful to do things without waiting for some orders" he said to her "you know we don't have a lead hunter to order you around..." he said with a smirk.

She looked at the three wolves one after another as they spoke with each other "hm, I see that's herd maybe your doe's family...I...no we with Risen were just planning to see if the herd is somewhere nearby, but I guess you two had the same plans..." she said with a flick of her black tail. She looked at Smoke for a moment "So did you have a plan where we will start to look for them?" she asked another hunter.

He was not planning to eat it all, which was not even possible as it was still pretty big for a small deer. He took a bite as his eyes looked at the cleaning for anyone else wanting to eat.

She looked at the moving bushes there, but her ears were telling that she was listening to her mentor "I think it's good that they don't do anything..." she responded "If we can't have peace then silence is good too" she said. She flicked her ears "so how far we're going to go to start the training? we're almost at the borders?" she asked looking up to the male once again.

The brown male wolf looked at his alpha, giving a little nod as he finished his sentence "sure, if the hunting patrol let me join them, I will try my best to do whatever you think is the best" he responded joking the first part. He looked around for the cleaning before turning to the alpha again " well then...I leave you to talk with Cartel" he said with a smile.

He looked at his friend "yeah kinda sad that there is already a lead warrior, then you could be a lead warrior with your sister" he laughs "well that's very common to favor your family members" he said with a sight. His eyes a little bit narrowed at Canary as the warrior spoke, he didn't mind about her bothering them, but he didn't like the way she said those words they were like an order. All three of them were warriors, but still, she made herself seem like she was a little bit better. He didn't say anything though just looked back at Morain "oh well I see the duties are calling you now then, don't let them wait too long" he said to her.

She silently watched after the medic, she could see his nervousness but didn't find anything odd about that. She gave a look to the Blaze as well, as the medic was bringing the remedy for her little problem "oh thank you Aleck" she responded as she took the remedy "yeah I will come to you if I needed to thank you again" she said to him with a soft smile as she started to make her leave.

She stayed there watching in peacefully, as the pack started to rise from their dens. Stretching the black-furred she-wolf stood up and started her walk toward some of the hunters she saw being alone "Good morning Miera" she said with a gentle nod and a smile. She gave a look around before turning to face the other hunter "you ready for a hunt? with me or well we could ask any other with use, more hunters means more prey right" she said.

She smiled "well it's either that everyone is slow or the morning is just moving slow" she responded to her. Her eyes looked around once again "so we're not going to ask the Catania to join us?" she asked her, but could not see the younger female anywhere "I am pretty sure she was there just a moment ago...hmmm interesting" she said with a flick of her ears. She looked back at Kass "anyway, as we're taking so much time, I think most of the preys are up already" she said.

Thessadowes nodded with intrigue at Risen's statement. If the herd was looking for one of their own, it had a possibility of leaving them somewhat more vulnerable than before, considering the deer would be focused on searching.
"That's a good thought. It would make sense." The huntress coincided, gingerly stepping over a small, spiky plant as to not step on it. She raised her nose to the wind, and inhaled deeply, finding herself able to very clearly make out the scent they were following.
"Yes, I can smell them too. It gets stronger as we walk, so we are on the right path. With three hunters, we could easily take down one of the larger does, or a young buck." Thessadowes mused, as if thinking aloud. She wasn't sure if the said herd was strictly doe-fawn, or if it had any bucks, but she decided it could be better safe than sorry to avoid the bigger males, even with this group of experienced hunters.
The Huntress glanced at Nyx as she spoke. It was definitely good that they'd met up, or else it could have called for a little surprise if they bumped into each other while hunting down the same herd. Although she wasn't sure if Nyx was really talking to her or Smoke, she flicked her ear and nodded at the path ahead that they walked.
"We seem to be on the right track, but the scent smells to be coming from a slight left. There's somewhat of a clearing in that direction as well that I presume they could be at. We could start there?"

xxxWaterlilies sniffed cautiously around the edge of the camp, still shaking off the last of his sleep. The pack was rousing and preparing for the day, and at this point in the war, it was anyone's gamble. Even the shy wolf knew that the higher numbers were for a patrol, the safer everyone would be. He flicked an ear when he heard Mick and Blizzard discussing the potential of a patrol, and waited patiently for an opening in their private conversation. "Hey." The silvered wolf greeted gently, dipping his head briefly to his packmates. "I heard rumors of a patrol being rounded up. I'm at your disposal."

Cricket - Female - Fire Pack - Healer Trainee - 6 Months - Tagged;; Open

xxxCricket flattened her ears when she heard her mentor greeting other packmates at the entrance of the den. It was still chilly, and her winter pup fluff wasn't quite enough to ward off that bitter chill. She sheltered herself further in the den with a disgruntled huff, the dull scent of herbs comforting and lulling her back to sleep.
xxxBut the young trainee had a day of studying ahead, and with their supplies steadily dwindling in the season, she knew she had to contribute her part. So Cricket pulled herself to her paws and let out a big yawn, making it no secret that she had the morning grumpies as she ignored her ruffled pelt and sniffed around the prey pile for breakfast.
