extra: Gremlin finally has a friend! She's not entirely sure how she feels about her new companion. He's much more energetic compared to her but she's glad she has someone to keep her company. Even if she won't admit it out loud.

Both Gremlin and Haze have ventured out to the city ruins to explore. Thankfully Gremlin has been there before so Haze can rely on her to show him the ropes. "Don't you get hot in that suit? What's it even made of? It sure is shiny!" Haze's whiskers twitch as he peers at her suit curiously with his narrow eyes. Gremlin shoots him a sideways glance. "It's just the regular uniform. All the crew members get one." To be honest she's not sure what her suit is made of. All she knows is that it's designed to keep her safe. Which will come in handy in such a dangerous place like this. "Crew? Where's the rest of your crew?" Haze tilts his head to the side as he wonders what the crew's purpose had been. "I don't know. I got separated from them." Gremlin frowns as she glances at the ground. After a few moments of silence he speaks up again. "Well, I guess I'm your new crew then!" He delcares happily. Gremlin glances at him, a bit baffled, before smiling ever so slightly. "Yeah, I guess so..."

"So...does this mean I get a suit too now?" Haze asks hopefully. "I don't have any spare suits, so no." She doesn't even hesitant with her reply. "...But I can call you captain now right? Right?" After a few more moments of silence Gremlin grumbles. "...Er..uh yeah I guess so." Will she regret that decision? Possibly.

"A... professional scavenger, you say," Lennox murmured, unimpressed.

"Ehehehe-- yep!" The strange werm squeaked, scratching at one ear. "I know all the good spots in that lab, too. Spent my whole life there, you see, so you're lucky to have me!"

Anton stumbled. This werm was interesting, to say at the least. "Why'd you wanna join us, then? If we're so lucky?"

The strange werm-- Nix, it had introduced itself as-- paused, cheerful expression falling flat.

"I'm very lonely."

Oh. Oh wow, that was sad. Anton immediately felt guilty and wrapped his tail around Nix's shoulders. "Well I don't think you're lying, since you got us that hoodie, so... you know the area best. Lead the way back to the lab, if you want?" Anton offered the best reassuring expression his face plates would allow. "And! Welcome to the team."

extra: Sheldon was so happy to have Sunny home that he considers pulling them into his arms with a big ol' hug, but on the other hand Sheldon values his life enough to not try anything like that. Instead, Sheldon held up the two other broken games. Sunny's sour expression changed and they grabbed up the games at once, clicking every button as if checking to make sure they worked.
"Enough of this mush, let's get outta here!"
Hemlock grabbed Sheldon by the collar, reaching out to do the same to Sunny. They hissed, covering the games with their tail.
"Keep your paws away from me."
Sheldon was shaking in his (metaphorical) shoes, watching the two wermz stare each other down. Eventually, Sunny cracked a smile and Sheldon couldn't believe his eyes.
"What are we waiting for then?"
Sunny and Hemlock joked back and forth as Sheldon led them into the Outskirts for another scrounge around.
