Shadowsight new that there was risk to leaving the clan. Though the threat she chased lived with her, he could have reach elsewhere. Still, she didn’t want to limit her children just because of her own mission. They deserved to have the same experiences she’s did. She remembered he’s own first gathering, and looked down fondly at them. If only their father could be here to seem them, and meet their 4th adopted child. At least her children would grow up happy.
Oceanlight glanced around at the other warriors, trying to hide her nervousness. It was her first gathering as a warrior, but also as the the adopted child of her clans leader, as well as Laurelstars secret mate, and as the cat whom the former, now passed, deputy said was special. Special how she wasn’t even sure, but she could feel the eyes on her either way, knowing people expected something from her, so even hoping for her to fail, even though they didn’t know what she should be failing. She sighed, wishing Snowydream was here. Somehow, he always knew how to calm her down.

Silverdance -- tom -- Hunting Captain -- tagged: open
Akin to his name, Silverdance floated around the gathering, humming softly to himself, a smile on his face. He was a friendly cat, hoping to find another optimistic cat to talk to.
Cardinalspike -- she-cat -- Medicine Cat -- tagged: open
Cardinalspike didn't really want to be here. She only came on her father's suggestion that there be a medicine cat present at all gatherings, and Scorchlight had vehemently refused to even consider the idea, and Bananapaw was too inexperienced, according to Mockingbirdstar, to come as the sole healer. So here she was. Sitting in the midst of cats she had no desire to be around. Cardinalspike closed her eyes, hoping that she could pretend she wasn't here. Or maybe even take a nap.
Sloebramble -- nonbinary -- Hunter -- tagged: open
The hunter squinted their way through the gathering, making out shapes of cats and never quite able to know if they were even from their clan or not. They couldn't see, something they had realized once their half sister told them that they seemed to have terrible eyesight - something Sloebramble hadn't really considered, but here they were. Truthfully, Sloebramble was wondering why Charstar invited them to come, as they would never be able to pick out any cat that they talked to. But either way, maybe they could find a friend, or just listen to the birds - which was exactly what they chose to do now, staring straight up at an empty branch, thinking a leaf in the wind was a bird, waiting for it to make noise...
Vanillapaw -- she-cat -- Apprentice -- tagged: open
Vanillapaw's eyes were wide, feeling lost without her brother at her side. She stepped silently around the outskirts of the gathering, feeling small and like she didn't belong here. She was suddenly afraid that her fluffy fur would make her stand out, and she tried to keep to the shadows, now wanting to bother anyone.

Vanillapaw was feeling down. This was his first gathering and he was 14 moons old and still an apprentice. He wondered if he should tell other cats he was only 12 moons and about to take his assessment. His clanmates had already dissipated, which was a disappointment. Blizzardpaw had come along and he was hoping to spend time with his denmate. The apprentice flicked his tail, a little irritated.

Charstar -- tom -- Leader -- tagged: Rainstorm (Whiskered Away; Frisco)
The leader took note of Rainstorm's body language, internally nodding that the cat was cautious, even among a friendly cat. Charstar, too, felt himself flick his ears towards sounds every so often, checking to make sure that the cats around him were not showing any signs of aggression. At Rainstorm's question, he shook his head, smiling slightly. "Not a deputy, but a second leader," he said gently. "We were founded by two leaders, something I guess our ancestors insisted upon - though we no longer abide by their rules, we decided that ChaosClan was too large to warrant just one leader and stuck with two. We do have a deputy who reports to us as well, and I think it keeps things running smoother. Truthfully, I'm not sure I could manage a clan of the size I have as just me." Charstar took a pause to bow his head in respect. "Losing your clan in a flood must have been hard. ChaosClan is no stranger to hardships, but water..." Charstar shuddered involuntarily. "I cannot imagine."

Whetley | apprentice | female | tags: Swanflight of Tundraclan (selkirks) ✰Her large ears perked up at the sounds of ‘healer’. “I’m glad! My name is Wheley and I come from Whiskered Away. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She was very excited to talk to another medic and wanted to shower Swanflight with questions, but it would be rude to do, especially right at the start of their conversation. She took a deep breath and limited herself to only asking one. “The job of a healer is very interesting. Have you been doing it for a long time?”
Jinx| warrior | female | tags: open ✰For the first time during a gathering the molly is not in a great mood. The crowds of cats do make her feel better, but she lacks her usual chipper.

Cockroachstar's large paws padded towards the gathering, and he flashed a loving smile towards Hollystar, "Have fun, my sunshine!" he rubbed his cheek against Hollystar's almost unbalancing his mate due to his size. The bengal laughed and nuzzled him, "You too! Don't stay up too late." she teased the maine coon.
Hollystar padded away from her clanmates, glancing around at the cats around her. Her tail flicked with excitement, looking forward to talking with other cats.
Tsunamibite was softly grooming himself, keeping one eye on the gathering at all times, making sure he didn't miss the chance to talk with any familiar friends.
Wisteriaflight yawned, his jaws gaping wide. His eyes began to water but he shook his head, looking tiredly around the gathering. The Birman sat down, looking around for any interesting cat to talk with.
Smokescreen padded a bit more slowly than her clanmates due to her old age. The Nebelung saw Cockroachstar and Hollystar walking together, loving purrs emitting from both, and she felt a pang in her heart, remembering how she had no cat to love. She sighed and padded towards the clearing, before joining a few other cats who were talking excitedly.
Midnightglance purred softly as Celestialpaw ran after her, his excitement beaming, "Mama! There's so many cats! I wonder if we'll meet any cats as strong as Hollystar or Cockroachstar!" Celestialpaw wondered in awe. Midnightglance purred with laughter and drew her tail over her son's flank lovingly.
