Oakstar lead his clan proudly into the clearing. This was their third time attending, and he felt much more comfortable around all the strange cats. This time, the tom had a mission. He had to find the leader of Swiftclan. He needed to speak with him about the cats he sent to help them drive out rouges. The tabby tom made his way around the gathering cats, asking briefly if some had seen him. A cat pointed him in the direction of Lightningstar, who was chatting with another cat. He padded up and dipped his head. "Hello, sorry to interrupt." He dipped his head at the cat standing with the leader. "I am Oakstar, of Truffleclan."
Blizzardpaw walked as cool as he could into the mass of cats that were beginning to gather. This was his first gathering and he was not going to let anyone know how nervous he actually was. He payed a farewell to his clanmates and padded into the throng, looking for someone to chat with. He noticed a lone cat and watched him for a bit before padding up. "Who are you?" He said, almost demanding. "I'm Blizzardpaw. From a great, strong clan. You might have heard of us, Truffleclan?" He was trying to make himself sound big and strong.
Drizzlespeck was also a first timer at the gathering. His clanmates told him that it was best to make a friend, or friends, and chat. That was the only way to get news from other clans. He fidgeted with his paws as he glanced around the clearing. A she-cat about his age, was sitting close to him. He took a deep breath and made his way over, taking a quick look back to where his clan had been. They had since disappeared. He sat down near this cat. "Hello, how is the evening treating you? I'm Drizzlespeck."
Vanillapaw was feeling down. This was his first gathering and he was 14 moons old and still an apprentice. He wondered if he should tell other cats he was only 12 moons and about to take his assessment. His clanmates had already dissipated, which was a disappointment. Blizzardpaw had come along and he was hoping to spend time with his denmate. The apprentice flicked his tail, a little irritated.
Peachmeadow was more than excited to be at this gathering. She had big big news to tell her mate. Her paws danced with anticipation as she looked around for Robinpatch. She opened her mouth to taste the air and quickly caught his scent, even among the mingling cats. Her bobbed tail flicked excitedly as she tried to calmly walk towards him. "Robin!" She exclaimed as she padded up to his side. The molly rubbed her head against him.

North✰star | leader | female | tags: Laurelstar of Auroraclan (Red weasel) ✰The molly returned a gentle nod of her head. “I am Northstar of Whiskered Away. A pleasure to meet you as well.” She sat down and straightened her back and head, trying to keep a posture worthy of royalty. “I don’t believe I have heard the name Auroraclan before. Do you come from afar?” Usually North asked that question when she wanted to diminish the clan and make it sound insignificant. This time however, she had no ill intentions. She was in quite a good mood. The name intrigued her and she simply wanted to find out more.
Whetley | apprentice | female | tags: Swanflight of Tundraclan (selkirks) ✰Her large ears perked up at the sounds of ‘healer’. “I’m glad! My name is Wheley and I come from Whiskered Away. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She was very excited to talk to another medic and wanted to shower Swanflight with questions, but it would be rude to do, especially right at the start of their conversation. She took a deep breath and limited herself to only asking one. “The job of a healer is very interesting. Have you been doing it for a long time?”
Jinx| warrior | female | tags: open ✰For the first time during a gathering the molly is not in a great mood. The crowds of cats do make her feel better, but she lacks her usual chipper.

Wolfsong shook his fur off as he picked himself up. He shook his head once more and glanced down at this smaller tom that had barreled straight into him. His red eyes seemed to pierce the tom. "Oh, Hello." Wolfsong gruffly let out a small greeting. "I'm fine. Are you okay?" His ears flicked, curious about this cat that seemed to have been a bit preoccupied. He stood much taller that this cat, leading him to believe he was an apprentice. He seemed to tower over the male cat. "I am Wolfsong." He went on. "A warrior from Truffleclan. And you are?" Wolfsong sat down and perked his ears forward. "Have you been to a gathering before? I don't recall seeing you around in the mingling cats before now." He studied the tom cat before him. He had bright green eyes and a striking orange tabby pelt. Wolfsong was sure he would have remembered seeing this cat around before.

Silverdance -- tom -- Hunting Captain -- tagged: open
Akin to his name, Silverdance floated around the gathering, humming softly to himself, a smile on his face. He was a friendly cat, hoping to find another optimistic cat to talk to.
Cardinalspike -- she-cat -- Medicine Cat -- tagged: open
Cardinalspike didn't really want to be here. She only came on her father's suggestion that there be a medicine cat present at all gatherings, and Scorchlight had vehemently refused to even consider the idea, and Bananapaw was too inexperienced, according to Mockingbirdstar, to come as the sole healer. So here she was. Sitting in the midst of cats she had no desire to be around. Cardinalspike closed her eyes, hoping that she could pretend she wasn't here. Or maybe even take a nap.
Sloebramble -- nonbinary -- Hunter -- tagged: open
The hunter squinted their way through the gathering, making out shapes of cats and never quite able to know if they were even from their clan or not. They couldn't see, something they had realized once their half sister told them that they seemed to have terrible eyesight - something Sloebramble hadn't really considered, but here they were. Truthfully, Sloebramble was wondering why Charstar invited them to come, as they would never be able to pick out any cat that they talked to. But either way, maybe they could find a friend, or just listen to the birds - which was exactly what they chose to do now, staring straight up at an empty branch, thinking a leaf in the wind was a bird, waiting for it to make noise...
Vanillapaw -- she-cat -- Apprentice -- tagged: open
Vanillapaw's eyes were wide, feeling lost without her brother at her side. She stepped silently around the outskirts of the gathering, feeling small and like she didn't belong here. She was suddenly afraid that her fluffy fur would make her stand out, and she tried to keep to the shadows, now wanting to bother anyone.
Shadowsight new that there was risk to leaving the clan. Though the threat she chased lived with her, he could have reach elsewhere. Still, she didn’t want to limit her children just because of her own mission. They deserved to have the same experiences she’s did. She remembered he’s own first gathering, and looked down fondly at them. If only their father could be here to seem them, and meet their 4th adopted child. At least her children would grow up happy.
Oceanlight glanced around at the other warriors, trying to hide her nervousness. It was her first gathering as a warrior, but also as the the adopted child of her clans leader, as well as Laurelstars secret mate, and as the cat whom the former, now passed, deputy said was special. Special how she wasn’t even sure, but she could feel the eyes on her either way, knowing people expected something from her, so even hoping for her to fail, even though they didn’t know what she should be failing. She sighed, wishing Snowydream was here. Somehow, he always knew how to calm her down.

Bixley| apprentice| female | tagging: Salamandercry of Swiftclan (Phina D Wolf) ✰The young apprentice strolled around the paths between cats with her tail high up and her green eyes scouting out for anything interesting. She stopped by a silver cat and smiled at him. “Hi”, she said confidently. “You look very interesting. I haven’t seen anyone with a coat like yours before. It reminds me of pebbles, but also… clouds.” She tilted her head to one side and looked at Salamandercry’s fur pattern curiously.
