MistFur had approached during the interaction. MoonShadow dipped her head to the warrior "Good morning! " she smiled softly before responding to MistFur "My rest was good! How was yours?" she said before her attention turned to the Deputy, Oriolegaze. With a friendly wave of her tail she almost leaped at the chance to get out on Patrol. "Absolutely Oriolegaze" she said rising to her paws and giving her fur a quick lick to straighten out.

She turned to see her Apprentice, RainPaw bounding up to them, MoonShadow purred softly "Ah, Perfect timing RainPaw! We are about to head out on a hunting patrol." she said before flicking her tail gently "I hope you were able to find something to eat, I didn't want to bother you until I knew the plan for today" she said with a smile.

OceanPaw grinned at LeopardFang's words, she was incredibly thankful to have such a kind cat as her mentor. And OceanPaw looked up to her in general, even before she was assigned as her apprentice - she could remember watching the warriors come in and how she had always admired the warrior's kindness.

As RainPaw had came to join them OceanPaw flicked her tail in a more - excited greeting "Hi RainPaw! We're going on a hunting patrol!" she said full of excitement. Even though she had been on patrols with her mentor before, OceanPaw was always excited when joining with cats she hadn't been able to work with before. She hoped she would make a good impression.

NightFrost nodded to the apprentice, following his gaze towards the fresh-kill pile. "yes, it is low." he mumbled before looking towards the group of cats gathering for patrol "It looks like a patrol is about to go out. Why don't you pick something small to eat while I see what patrol we are on today" he said with a swish of his tail. His eyes trailed the cats gathering for the days assignments.

The black tom walked towards the clan leader, LightningStar. As he approached NightFrost dipped his head in greeting to her. "Good morning LightningStar" he greeted with a wave of his tail. "I see Oriolegaze had already put one patrol together, is there another you would like StormPaw and I on or would you rather I take her to train in combat?" he asked before catching the eye of his sister, MoonShadow and giving her a greeting with a flick of his tail. Turning his attention back to the leader, he awaited confirmation on what she would prefer him to do. Usually he would just join a patrol, but the one being put together already had a decent number of cats and he didn't want to interfere. Besides, sometimes less was more.

indentation Calmly padding along, tracking the scent of the hare, Ray paused as the scent of it became overbearing. The scent of the hare's dirt made his lips curl in disgust, but thankfully he hadn't stepped in it. Carefully stepping around the small pile of dirt, the tortie continued on his way. Slowly the Hare came into sight a few paces away. Dropping down, belly brushing up against the forest floor, the tom began to slowly make his way towards the hare. Body still but vibrating with tension, he crept forward, paw steps quiet, slow, and careful as to not alert the hare to his presents. He'd have to get close, or he'd lose his chance. Unfortunately, his stomach let out a particularly loud howl startling the Hare into a run. That said, Ray wasn't ready to give up his meal and quickly gave chase. Heading straight towards the Ravenclan border.

indentationThe scar across his face flared with heat as his ears also heated with embarrassment. Forcing his embarrassment away, though silently berating himself for not originally noticing Mistfur - for reasons he's not looking too deeply into - and watched as Leopardfang and Moonshadow agreed. He cleared his throat, "I wasn't trying to flatter any of you," the male stated a tinge of embarrassment lingering in his voice. "I was merely stating a fact." Shaking his head the red-brown tom huffed, then sighed after glancing over at the apprentice's den and around camp. It seemed his own apprentice, Reedpaw was not yet awake. Which he had rather expected, they had done some late night training before, so he expected that they were still quite tired.

indentation After quickly scarfing down the mouse, Hawkpaw turned his gaze to Lightningstar once more, noting that Nightfrost was now speaking to him. Part of him didn't want to interrupt, but he always was quite excited to go on patrol, and so slowly meandered over. "Good morning, Nightfrost." he purred in an oddly lackadaisical tone. "Are you and Stormpaw joining us on the border patrol?" Hawkpaw wondered out loud, with a slight tilt of his head to the left.

Molesprout - Medicine Cat - 65 moons
Molesprout walked back into camp with a mouthful of bitter herbs. He had been trekking all night through the territory to find them. He preferred to keep out of the sunlight as much as possible. He had been sunburned enough to try and avoid it. He ignored everyone milling around camp and headed straight to his den where he found Thunderstorm sleeping. Dropping his bundle of herbs he meowed, "Wake up and help me sort these!"

Leopardfang - warrior - 32moons
Leopardfang couldn't help her whiskers twitching in amusement at the deputy's embarrassment. For being such a noble and strong cat those ears turned pink quick! She mischievously wondered how she could make him do that again. Turning to the two she-cats she meowed quietly so only they could hear, "I hope I haven't made him grumpy for our patrol!"

Rainpaw - apprentice - 10moons
Rainpaw nodded his head meekly even as his stomach clenched in his lie. He didn't want to seem too kittenish needing a meal before heading out on patrol. Hopefully it would be a fast one. "Hi Oceanpaw!" he meowed cheerily. "I hope we find a hare! I've been craving one for a whole moon!"

Lightningstar gave Nightfrost a small nod as he approached. "I was actually just putting together a border patrol and I would like you and Stormpaw on it," he meowed. "Later today I would like to have all the mentors and apprentices meet in the training clearing for some mock battles."

"I slept very well thank you," Mistfur meowed with a small nod to Moonfrost. "Oh I highly doubt that you did," she meowed quietly to Leopardfang before turning her attention to Rainpaw and Oceanpaw. "Looks like those two are getting along alright."

sootfur's ears twitched as he joined his Clanmates in camp. "Have patrols been sorted yet?" he asked as he took a seat next to the den. "I can join one if needed."

Stormpaw dipped her head slightly after Nightfrost gave her permission to eat. "Good luck," she meowed to Rainpaw as he darted off to join his mentor before grabbing a scrawny looking mouse.

MoonShadow giggled at the interaction between LeopardFang and Oriolegaze. She twitched her whiskers seeing him grow slightly embarrassed "Aw, Oriolegaze she was just reading into what you really meant" she teased with a small smile. She was thankful to have a decent relationship with her clan-mates. It burdened her that her brother had a harder time having these interactions. But, he didn't want her help to socalize.

As LeopardFang commented about hoping she didn't make him upset, MoonShadow purred softly "He knows he did invite the prettiest cats in the clan on patrol. Of course he is going to act tough" she joked with a wink before following Mistfur's gaze to the apprentices. MoonShadow couldn't help but beam watching OceanPaw. "They truly do. I hope they stay friendly through their apprenticeship and warriorhood." she commented knowing it was not uncommon for cats to grow apart as they aged. She wasn't as close to the other warriors she grew up beside. But that was okay with her!

As RainPaw mentioned a hare, OceanPaw's stomach growled. She had just eaten, but a hare sounded so good. she nodded "Now that you mention it. A hare sounds amazing!" she replied licking her nose on accident as she day dreamed about the hare.
She looked around, watching the warriors before returning her attention back to RainPaw "So, what is your favorite meal?"

NightFrost dipped his head to LightningStar as she decided that he and StormPaw would accompany them for the day. "Absolutely. Let me go get StormPaw" he said with a flick of his tail before turning and heading back towards where he had last seen the apprentice.

As NightFrost approached he apprentice "StormPaw, I hope you were able to eat quickly. LightningStar has requested we join her and HawkPaw on patrol" he said with a smile. It was an honor to be able to patrol with the leader, especially being invited on a patrol with them. He dropped his voice to a whisper "Make sure you stay focused today. This is very important" .

indentation While large, Ray didn't have the long longs that most larger cats had at least it didn't look like it. His large bulky muscles made him more of a strength than speed or agility. It also coincidently helped with his body-image problems. It wasn't often he was mistaken for a molly these days unless they smelt him before they saw him. His strength helped him put a bit more of a push into each step as he ran after his meal, propelling him forward. Unknowingly crossing the Ravenclan border - and who can blame him, he was quite focused - Ray gave one last push and snapped his jaws around the scruff of the hare. After skidding to a halt the tortie tom quickly ended the hare's life, then slowly started to consume his meal, still not realizing where he was.

indentation Huffing once more, ears still flushed with heat the tom forced his embarrassment back. The dark-eyed tom did his best to ignore the teasing that he'd almost take as flirting. Glancing over his companions, the red-hued tom cleared his throat, "If you and you're apprentices are ready to go, I think we should head off." Taking one more look around the camp, once again checking to see if his apprentice was up, the tom sighed then added, "Our patrol is already big enough so, Reedpaw will be staying here for the time being. He did have a late night yesterday." Oriolegaze muttered under his breath. Returning his gaze to the group, a small devious smirk found its way to his maw. "Though we can stay, and flirt like outrageous apprentices. Though I think Lightningstar might have something to say about that." He purred, shooting a playful wink in the direction of Moonshadow, Leopardfang, and Mistfur, before he turned and started to pad away, a small chuckle rumbling in his throat.

indentation His ears perked up as Nightfrost padded away, mentally taking note that Nightfrost and Stormpaw would be joining them. Hawkpaw didn't know either cat well, he wasn't the most outgoing or popular cat in the clan - though he was quite out-spoken. Glancing at his mentor, the dark tabby let out a quiet mew of question, wondering if the two had been invited or if Nightfrost had offered. Not that it really mattered much, at the very least he'd get to know his clan-mates better.

indentationStaring sleepily out of the nursery, the heavily pregnant queen curled her tail protectively around her large belly. She hadn't had a lot of energy the last few days, the stress of being so close to her kits being born, her beloved mate's death on her mind, and the thought of raising them virtually alone. Pineblossom hadn't gotten a lot of exercises since she'd found out she was expecting, and now with the extra weight, she found she was practically nest-ridden. Thankfully she was feeling a bit better today, slowly staggering and heaving herself up to her feet, the plump molly slowly waddled out of the nursery, grimacing as the sunlight hit her eyes. It was nice to get out of the nursery, but she didn't have enough energy to make her way to the prey pile. Maybe later, she mused thoughtfully as she slumped just to the side of the nursery, in a sunny spot. Laying down to groom herself.

The black-furred she-cat made her way back to the camp, her ears flicking toward the way where most of the cats were gathering. Around the deputy just like every morning, the group seemed to be very large already so she didn't even bother to go to ask if she could join it, instead she looked for someone else. She kind of happened to hear the question Sootfur the young warrior asked there "hmm? If you're looking for a patrol I think one is heading out but it seems to be a very big one already? I can come with you if you wanted to get out to do whatever?" she meowed to the male.

She flicked her ears as her mentor spoke to her "what? eh...why do you need to sort so early? it's not like they're going to run anywhere?" she meowed with a deep yawn. She stood up and did a quick cleanout before looked her mentor and the pile of herbs again "so which are sorted and which are not?" she asked.

She stood up to her nest, feeling still pretty tired, but felt a little disappointed ión herself after she noticed that she was pretty much the latest one still in the apprentices' den. There was still Reedpaw which didn't really surprise her at all, but what was the dark tortoiseshell doing confused her "Reed...what are you doing?" she asked him "...are you kidding me? there is no way you're going to sneak away without anyone to notice you, you dummy" she meowed with a sight. She shook her head "no..." she meowed to him and walked out of the den.

He got up almost immediately when the last apprentice who did woke up earlier go out of the den. He peeked around the den entrance and tried to figure out how he could sneak out of the camp without anyone noticing. He looked to Petalpaw "oh hello...I am going to sneak out...hah we will see about that..." he responded to the tortoiseshell apprentice "want to come with me?" he asked her.

Both he and his brother were woke early and very hungry as they were not eaten anything for hours. As close brothers, they decided to do a little hunting competition which will catch bigger prey, so they walked in separate ways to see some prey animals catch.

Slowly he walked separate way from his brother Sphinx, his whiskers twisting in the wind as he lifted his nose to scent the upcoming wind. So far no prey anywhere, but maybe there could be some fish at the small lake he saw in distance. He was not a fisher, but could that be that hard, maybe he could learn a trick or two about how to catch those fast water animals.

Standing from where she'd been spending her morning, lying in a patch of sun, Rowanflame stretched, then started to pad toward the leader and his apprentice, standing in wait.
He dipped his head to Lightningstar as he spoke "Good morning, Lightningstar, need anyone else on patrol?"
She tried to contain the restlessness in her voice, but her tail twitched excitedly behind her.

She flicked her tail with amusement as he winked at them "Oh Oriolegaze, just admit you liked being flirted with" she teased lightly with a smile. Before making another comment she nodded with a smile at RainPaw are you ready to go?" she asked softly.

She was excited to patrol with her friends, and especially OceanPaw. It wasn't often they would patrol together so she appreciated that they could. Besides, it made her proud to watch the apprentice.
