Florida puts on his cool guy smirk and sets off again today. He straightens his collar and makes his way through the city quirkily, scavenging through all the bits of rubble and debris in hopes to find anything useful. Florida’s raised ego and cockiness of his luck leaves him extremely hopeful of the goods he’d find.

Extra:Neil is just about to head out when he hears a commotion.
He's about to go scavenging again and was on his way to the outskirts. It seems, howerever, that he didn't need to leave to find trouble. Someone seems to be yelling just about in the middle of the market. Unable to help the curiosity, he heads towards the sounds.
Two arguing wermz seem to be the source. They are surrounded by quite the crowd of passerby wanting to witness the drama.
"Seriously?! I can't believe I wasted so much time with you," says angrily the one who seems to be the offender. He seems to be some kind of a rodent. The markings on his fur remind Neil of fog or clouds. "I thought you were my friend!"
The other werm seems uninterested in further confrontation, however. They duck into the crowd and disappear from sight. The remaining rodent is just about to follow when he seems to realize he's surrounded by quite a few other wermz, all staring at him. He hesitates as some of his anger is replaced by embarassment, the tips of his ears turn a little pink. Neil realizes with a start that he's partly responsible, being a part of the crowd. He feels a bit guilty. Trying to rescue the werm from all the attention could result in turning it all to himself, but scratch that.
"Hey, you." The rodent's freckled face snaps towards Neil, who tells him to follow with a gesture of his head. Although visibly suspicious of the stranger, the rodent does just that.
The onlookers seem to disperse, thankfully, but the two still leave the market. An awkward silence accompanies them.
"So..." Neil begins. "What was that about?"
"None of your business," the rodent mutters. His eyes seem kind, but also make the impression of untrusting.
"Can you tell me your name, at least?"
"...Michael."
"Er... cool. I'm Neil. I was just heading for the city outskirts. Wanna tag along?"
Mike narrows his eyes at him. Why all the suspicion?
"Sure... I suppose."
It seems that gaining his trust might take a while, but Neil is hoping to have made a new friend today.
"...thanks, by the way. For giving me an excuse to get away from that crowd."

It was time to set out with Lennox again. The werm seemed competent, and he wanted to explore the lab he'd been hearing about in the shopping district. Anton felt like he was being watched during their journey-- more than usual, at least. The abandoned lab was new terrain, and most places were at least a little scary, he mused, trying to calm himself.
That was, until Lennox promptly halted, ears perked up. They were frozen, looking ready to flee at any given moment.
"Did you hear that?"
"Wh-- hear what?"
"It was like... skittering. Like claws against rock."
Anton laughed nervously. No, he didn't hear that, and he wasn't sure if that was better or worse at this point. Lennox wasn't a jumpy werm, but their current overly-cautious attitude was getting to him. Anton's tail lashed as he scanned the area.
"You sure you aren't messing with me?" Anton asked in a half-hearted attempt to melt away some of the tension.
"No, idiot, I--"
Anton leapt into the air with a frightened cry at the shriek Lennox let out, effectively cutting off his sentence and echoing down the hallway. Anton twisted to face them, and followed the werm's line of sight to see a fuzzy head peaking out from a hole in one of the walls.
"Hi!" a shrill voice called, enthusiastically waving their paw, "Have you found anything cool? Can I join you?!"
