Jack was up on deck, he was making sure the ship was running well, seeing as Merr and Jade had seemingly gone off togeyther. he sighed at the thought, his Captain fratermising with the first mate? Well, each to their own, he thought and got on with his job, he was no gosspier or one to pry, but he was curious as they seemed to be changing realtionship status often.

Jade smiled at the affection in his eyes. "So you think, in my cabin, we're safe? What if someone walks in?" She raised er right hand so it rested on his cheek. "You've changed Merr." She stated, affection shining in her own eyes. Deep in the back of her mind, she knew she was falling for him. But she didn't wnt to admit it.

Safety is a relative term, as no where is completely safe. Who cares if someone walks in? I'll improvise. He raised his hand to rest on hers, eyes searching for the affection in her eyes. Jade smiled. "I'm flattered." She told him, her hand moving from it's place by his cheek to his shoulder. "Don't underestimate yourself. You yourself are a handsome young man." She stard into his eyes, almost loosing herself in their depths.

Well, that's a great compliment coming from you. Smirking, he stared back into her eyes, gaze softening almost immediately. Placing his hand on her cheek, he leant down to kiss her but hesitated... Would she let him? He didn't want to get into trouble with her, not now that he knew she had feelings for him as well...

Jade closed her eyes, knowing what was coming. When nothing happened, she opened them once more. "Oh, are you scared?" She teased as her hands edged closer to his neck, eventually resting behind his head. Grinning in victory, she pushed him down, capturing his lips with her own. There was no need to hide her feelings now.

Quite surprised at her actions, Merr didn't actually know what had happened at first... Her hands made their way up to his head and then she kissed him... Closing his eyes, he kissed her back, thoroughly enjoying himself. She looked like Jade, sounded like Jade, but this wasn't the Jade he knew... Why the sudden change?

Smiling in the kiss, she withdrew, breaking it. She had noticed something. She didn't know what, but something was wrong. "Merr, what's the problem?" She question, gently pushing him off of her and sitting up, her eyes staring at him, almost forcing him to tell the truth.

Maybe she had changed, maybe she hadn't. "Don't forget, that the other day, I killed a Navy officer, yesterday I fought my mother, and olnly a few hours ago I saved you from getting eaten by mermaids. An I've changed?"
