Mila [f] --- Anthony [m]

She sat opposite of the dark, blue eyed individual. Her head was tilted slightly, just enough for him to take notice and tilt his as well. Mila cracked a wry smile, slapping her head straight up again, tanned- singed bangs, even- drooping back into position. Next, Anthony brought his head up as well.
"It's funny when you copy me, Antony." Her accent made it impossible to pronounce "Anthony" correctly, but honestly, he enjoyed her smooth tone.
He smiled sheepishly, hand-combing a matte of hair from his eyes. "I'd copy you again, darling, but I've got class."

Mila drew her lean, tan legs around the room; glancing out of the window, and back to Anthony again. He was asleep, wasting the last hours of his life with drool slipping out of his mouth. Her business heels clack-clack-clacked, waiting for him to wake up. The clacking paired nicely with the beeping, and soon, his arm was smearing drool away.
"What?" Anthony asked, eyes narrow, glaring at the girl in the business suit.
She heaved a sigh. "You're wasting the last hours of your life."
"And...?"
"Don't start with me, Antony! Come here, the view is gorgeous." Her hand was extended out, and even as he rose, she waited for him to take it. "There, look at the sun." A stray index finger pointed at the setting sun, setting hues of blue into orange.
Anthony turned to her, and looked at Mila with a somber face. "Reminds me of your hair, Mila."
She laughed a bit, leaning on him.

The beeping quickened, but they sat calm, choosing to ignore the perish song. Once again, they sat at parallel ends of the table. Their hands were linked together, as a very sweet, normal couple would do. But their eyes held different stories: Mila's were narrow and seductive, while his were innocent and squinting. They were playing a game, an odd one at that- who could squeeze the other's hands the hardest?
"Honey," the lanky woman started, blood-red eyes bouncing wider. "We're going to go out swinging."

Now the final chapter was upon them; both heart rates quickened, but they didn't show it. "Antony, come here."
"Yeah, Mila?" He said, swerving across the table to crouch by her chair.
"You're a cool guy, a cool guy."
"And you're a cool gal, Mila."
She grabbed the gruff of hair behind his neck and sucked him in for a kiss, just as the bomb went beep, finally, for the last time.
