- tries to be mean to others but genuinely doesn't have a mean bone in his body towards those that have no ill intent towards him
- to those he cares for, he tends to unintentionally cling to them and cater to their needs even if his words or expressions don’t reflect the same feeling
-he’s not very good at receiving compliments for his work or efforts; tends to act a bit aggressive or ungrateful towards them
- strives to become more powerful in order to protect those around him, but is selfish in that those whom he doesn't favor aren't always extended a hand (he knows who he wants to keep close and he intends keep it that way)
- committed to his studies; is often found staying up late putting his vision to practice or keeping his hand-to-hand skills honed (since the Sage thinks he’s some type of bodyguard now)
- consistently bickers with the Sage due to the fact that he signed up to be his prodigy only to be delivering snacks and drinks to him half the time

- it takes time for him to truly warm up to others rather than it is for him to just be naturally polite out of respect or indifference; tends to keep an eye on people he doesn't know
- can become easily irritated if he becomes unfocused or distracted from his task at hand
- keeps quite the temper under wraps, displaying it only with his sharp-tongue unless provoked to which then he isn't one to back down from a good fight
