Alright-- it was time to take the plunge. Anton was itching to go to the city ruins, but he couldn't dismiss the memory of White finally settling into scavenging and seeming to enjoy it. They were a quirky fellow, sure, and Anton wasn't going to pretend they didn't keep him on edge the majority of the time on their trips, but if he wanted to feel safe and determine whether or not he could really trust White... he needed to take it slow.

Anton looked over at the werm in question, who had begun to angle themselves in order to go towards the shopping district. He tapped his tail against their shoulder, effectively halting the other werm.

"We're going to the outskirts of the city today. I think it'd be exciting," Anton chirped. He was in no way surprised by White's apathetic expression, but the hum they let out at "exciting" got him giddy. Schooling his face into a less overly-ecstatic expression, Anton turned them towards the right direction and sped up to an energized trot. He was finally beginning to figure out his companion!

However, while getting closer to White indeed felt nice, he wondered if he'd ever shake off this feeling of uneasiness around them. He was sure the trip would be fun, but something deep in his circuits told him something wasn't right. He shook it off. Anton was just hoping that they'd be too interested in the new scenery to think about eating him or something.

They looked towards their plushie; specifically the sticker they had gently placed on it. With a determined nod, they squeaked the plushie and bounded forward. Today will be a good day.
