A nearby voice caught the attention of the brown and beige she-wolf. She turned her head to be facing a pale wolf with piercing blue eyes. Rya did not remember the name of that wolf nor his rank but her eyes could tell some things here and there by looking at his physique. He was an adult male, judging by his size. He was more than likely a warrior due to his muscles and the few scratches here and there on his body. A young warrior was the conclusion she went with before thinking of a possible answer.

"Greetings"She simply said as she did not really know what else she could say since she did not know much about this unknown wolf

She then listened carefully to the next words the male said as she did not want to make a fool of herself. Rya always had trouble with her memory so not putting enough attention toward others dialogue would only end up in a catastrophe. The she-wolf did wait a bit before answering making sure her interlocutor had finished talking. But, is was more to think about how she could properly answer the questions she had been asked.

"I am fine, like always. The cold is not very that bothering to me, the snow is the obstacle that pains me the most to achieve my tasks. Hunting will be better indeed when that white powder will be gone, i'll be able to camouflage myself better in the scenery. I do have to say that i do not understand how you could be annoyed of being camouflage, in my opinion it is a great advantage to be able to surprise your prey and not be seen easily."She replied calmly while looking around. Rya was never one to look dirrectly into ones eyes as she prefers to dodge confrontation. At the same time, she could asess her surroundings and see what tasks she could potentially need to fufill for the day.

Canary dipped her head and said "I'd be honored to do so" they say, they looked at Erle "I'll leave you two to talk" they said walking off to the side of them close enough to see Arian signal them to come over for the start of the patrol but far enough that they won't hear their conversation

Axis nodded to his two companions, “some food sounds nice, mind if I join you both?” He asks flicking a ear back to wave away an itch. “I’m quite hungry myself, haven’t eaten anything since I woke up, though I woke up not long ago” he adds. “Thank you, thank you both” he says nodding his head to Aala.

Apollo nods, “true, food is food” he agrees, taking another bite. “I’ve never had a frog, is it really that bad?” He asks curiously.

Basil shook her head, “I know that there isn’t much prey at the moment. And I know we will probably go out on a hunting patrol later today when more are awake. But, you also can’t try and order me to do things” she says calmly.

Kotori nods, “what should we do until she gets here then?” He asks looking around at the herbs, “we could try and sort the herbs, she’ll be surprised if she sees all the herbs nice and orderly.

Hati shrugs, “I probably will. If you want to come with, feel free to. I mean, if you don’t have much or aren’t busy. I don’t want to keep you from doing what you need to if that’s the case” he replies. The male really just wanted to go out and stretch his legs.

Mercy nods, “it’s just so cold and wet” he says shaking his head. He took another strip of rabbit after Tendril did. “I could come join you, if you don’t mind? After we eat, we can go gather some other hunters and we can go out?” He offers.

Oak smiles, “good, I’m glad you enjoyed it” he says sitting down, “you both doing okay? Anything wrong?” He asks softly, checking in on her.

Terra spots her trainees at the entrance of the Healers den and walks over to them. "Good morning Willows, and Kotori. I looked at the herb stash and we're low on a few things, as soon as you two have breakfast we'll head out on a search for more" she says

Thessadowes | Lightning Pack | All-Around | Location: Camp | Tagging: Smoke

"Ah, well. Maybe they are too busy eating." Thessadowes said with a little shrug, nodding vaguely around the camp. The sun was already peeking over the treetops, and she did find it somewhat curious that not many patrols had gathered yet. It wasn't a rare happening for late mornings to occur, but with the snow melting and spring coming along, the border markings between them and Fire Pack might have become fazed with the cold, which was never a good thing. The she-wolf found it quite sensible that Smoke felt a nudge to initiate a patrol of her own. It reflected the Warrior's growth over the past years.
"I would be glad to tag along if you do decide to head out." Thess added, offering a little nod.

Smiling at Smoke's next words, Thess shook her head in a 'no' motion and started towards the prey pile. "Not at the moment. I was just going to head out with the first patrol that left." She said with a barely audible sigh. "If there was, or is, a hunting party plan, I haven't heard about it." The wolf recalled quizzically. Thess wondered if it was a new idea, or if it had been in planning for a while. Either way, she felt slightly annoyed that she had heard nothing about it. Better late than never, right..?
"Well, take a pick first," Thessadowes offered, glancing down at the pile of prey that sat before them. It looked pretty ready for a refill, she noted.

Tendril | Fire Pack | Huntress | Location: Camp | Tagging: Mercy

Tendril grinned, and swept her tai in a wagging motion over the powdered ground. "I would love it if you came along." She said, her voice laced with a happy air. "I've seen a couple Hunters and All-Arounds glancing around the camp. Once we're finished we could check up on them and see if they'd like to accompany us, too." The Huntress said, adding on to Mercy's previous statement. Since the warmer seasons were slowly making their way back, the bigger prey, like deer and elk, also began to return. Last time she went out hunting, Tendril was near sure she saw some telling hoofprints in the shallow snow.
She shook her head just slightly as if to clear it, and leaned down to tear another bite from the rabbit. Tendril was already feeling the excitement for the hunt, and was rather eager to get going.

River froze, realizing she admitted that she was hunting secretly. She pinned her ears, "Please don't tell Shadow" she said in a hushed tone. She shook out her fur, nervous. Internally scolding herself for admitting something that could have her in a strange situation. She sighed, knowing she was going to have to be honest with Fish about how she learned to hunt.

Flicking her tail, River took a deep breath " My mother taught me when I was younger. She wanted me to become a huntress when I was done being a trainee however I became a warrior" she said quietly. Her mind raced back to training beside her mother, how she was taught to hunt and ultimately how she gave it up to protect her pack. "Sneaking away to hunt helps me feel close to her" she added.

River was thankful when the topic returned to food, she sighed under her breath. As Fish mentioned more aquatic prey was her favorite she offered a small smile "I can see it. I haven't tried any of the aquatic meals" she said with a flick of her ear. She thought about what it could taste like.

Risen glanced over his shoulder to land his amber eyes on Nyx, a fellow hunter. He dipped his head “Greetings Nyx” . He said hoping he sounded a least a bit welcoming , of course - right as he sat to avoid conversation someone of course would approach. Granted , Nyx wasn’t the most annoying in the pack, and honestly she wasn’t the hardest on the eyes. He swished his tail listening to her compliment his catch. “Thank you. I got very lucky with the doe being alone and unaware of its surroundings” he commented. As she mentioned another patrol he huffed before rising to his paws “no, I’m fine with another hunt” he decided with a flick of his ear.

He considered agreeing that he would rather be left alone in camp, however if he had been seen conversing with one wolf, what was to stop another from approaching. Besides , hunting meant silence normally. And he could appreciate that. “when were you planning on going?”

Blaze flicked his tail as he walked towards the medic den. He wasn't injured, although the amount of scars on his body wouldn't come as a surprise if he was injured. The black wolf flicked his tail as he walked towards the entrance to the den. Considering turning away came to his mind - it was the morning. Aleck was probably out collecting herbs or helping the pack. And yet, here was Blaze taking time out of the morning to pay a visit to the medic. He shook his head and walked to the den entrance, stopping before he walked inside. His eyes flicked around the den, landing on the canine "Good morning Aleck' he said softly greeting the medic. He hoped he didn't disturb him from doing something.

Almost after the words had left his mouth , another warrior - Octavia had approached. Blaze dipped his head “Good morning, and no worries Octavia.” he commented before looking over at her to add “I just got here myself” . He didn’t say anything as she mentioned having an itch. He didn’t want to intrude on her medical situation.

Destiny wagged her tail softly as Hati had invited her on the hunt. She dipped her head in thanks "yes please, that would be incredible" she said softly. [i] "It's either that or sit around here and wait until someone needs an extra set of paws" she added in a joking tone. Overall, Destiny was thankful for having a reason to leave the camp that afternoon. She also wouldn't mind getting to know Hati a bit more, as they had only spoken in passing.

As they emerged more into the camp, Louve noticed Mick looking over at them and she frowned slightly, wondering 'what's that about?' to herself. She twitched her ears slightly as if to dismiss what her brother had just said. "What, and have them waste their herbs on me?" she asked with a disapproving tone in her voice. "Surely if I can work harder I will make myself tired enough to last through until the morning" she added, making her way over the kill pile, her nose twitching and her belly aching with hunger.

Once again Mick was brought up but this time her brother was... flirting, or was he just joking? Either way, she chuckled along with him anyway. "Dear brother, you should know who's in my heart by now" she teased, batting her brother with her thick tail. "Good morning Mick! I trust you slept ok?" she asked, intrigued.

Aleck
Aleck sat peacefully, sorting herbs and counting the stock. He shuffled through the herbs, placing them in neat piles. He turns as he hears his name being called, and turned. “Oh, M-morning Blaze” he says. He spotted another wolf behind him. “Morning Octavia” he greets the other wolf. “How are you both?” He asks softly, shuffling his paws shyly. He wasn’t really a wolf to talk, unless spoken too, which was what happened this morning.

Waking up late, Cartel stretched and let out a yawn. He didn't like getting up late however being out most the night on patrol meant he was in need of a good rest. Shaking out his coat, he made his way outside and took a bite to eat from the prey pile. He was in need of a good meal after skipping the evening meal due to working too hard. Eating in camp, once he finished he began mentally preparing for the day ahead.

( I'm not sure if my last post is being held for review by CS or I forgot to press post. So wrote it again. lol )

She opened her jaws to answer the other healer trainee but didn't have time to say anything before their mentor showed up. She blinked her eyes not so surprised that the healer was already sorted their herb storage "Good morning Terra, we were already waiting for you..." she said with a flick of her tail. She looked at Kotori as the healer finished talking "are you hungry Kotori wants to share something with me perhaps?" she asked the male trainee.

He narrowed his eyes "I didn't try to order you around, I just told you...you don't want to be around when the others get hungry and angry because of that..." he responded to her with a sight. His eyes looked to his half-sister Nyx there talking with Risen "hmm, well at least someone is being useful to do things without waiting for some orders" he said to her "you know we don't have a lead hunter to order you around..." he said with a smirk.

She looked at Risen as the male spoke "really? it was alone? you know there could be its herd somewhere nearby?" she said licking her lips as the thought of the deers come to her mind, or maybe it was just the smell of the doe Risen bought there. She kept thinking "Cool, actually I have no plans yet, but now that you asked my stupid brother told me yesterday that he scented wild boars on our territory, so I thought maybe those are still there somewhere," she said," he said that the scent was very fresh near the muddy river, you know those pigs like to take mud baths" she continued looking at him with a smile "what do you say? want to try those? or we can see if we could track that doe herd too..." she said.

He woke up and left the den, yawning he looked around the camp, seeing that Risen was bought a deer and there seemed to be something small still left at the fresh-kill pile. He walked toward the deer "good morning Nyx, Risen, you caught this? So can I take a bite or two? please? even if I am not done anything to earn it?" he said with a laugh.

She walked after her mentor, her tail flicking as she watched around the forest "sure, sure, running sounds fun, I love running" she said excitedly. She then thought for his word for a moment "what do you mean if we found an open area? there are lots of open areas if you got to the west..." she responded to him. She then nodded "yeas that plans sound good to me...I could not go any better plan than that" she kept speaking.

He was up early just like every morning, he enjoyed doing his scouting in the morning when most animals were still asleep or waking up. The forest was calm, and if there were trespassers their scent could be still around and untouched. he walked around and stopped at a river to take a quick drink before starting to make his way back to camp.

She stayed there watching in peacefully, as the pack started to rise from their dens. Stretching the black-furred she-wolf stood up and started her walk toward some of the hunters she saw being alone "Good morning Miera" she said with a gentle nod and a smile. She gave a look around before turning to face the other hunter "you ready for a hunt? with me or well we could ask any other with use, more hunters means more prey right" she said.

She laughed at her "you know if I don't do those, nobody will...but yes that's not really a thing I like to do anyway" she responded "A good thing about being all-around is that you're not stuck with only one job, you can pretty much do whatever you want as long I don't bother others do much" she said. She flicked her ears feeling a little awkward when the black wolf nudged her shoulder "yeah I would love to go hunt with you, Kass, together or...well if you have anyone you want to invite, then go for it, I don't mind" she said keeping her smile up, to cover her embarrassment.
