2022 Easter Event: Casual Chat

It's so sad and disappointing - people want (or pay) VRs or hundreds of C$ for animal egg 100, demand is higher than Mount Everest and not going down. It's hopeless to try and get it in a 1:1 swap or at least in a not super overpayed trade. That's not what CS is about ):

Yeah. It's kinda sad people are amping up the prices on stuff like this when realistically there's enough to go around for people who really want them. I never got a duplicate of AE 100, but the others I just swapped or sold for some tokens/ a little bit of C$.
I kinda feel like people in a weird way are too obsessed with Very Rare/ super old pets and will do overkill to get a hold of them. I wish more people would just enjoy the newer releases and value them in their own right. (there's nothing wrong with goaling to get old/ VR pets, but it sucks when people take advantage of others to achieve those goals).

It also doesn't help that we just don't know the rarity of the events pet at the moment so people are probably more hesitant to trade an item that so high in demand.

but I also found myself overpaying for pets I was missing ....people weren't accepting 1:1 as much when the event was over.

Well I hit the banner limit finally. I'm surprised I did tbh as I haven't hit it in a few years. Last banner gave me another squid eggy. Never got #100 by myself. But I think the rarest of the animal eggs has to be: #100, and #99 - and maybe #102. But I have no idea. Just grateful that I got them all.

i definitely know what y'all mean about the demand for egg 100, i've seen ppl offering tons of rares AND c$ for it and it's crazy. i'm glad i was able to get it from a banner bc i can't imagine trying to trade for it rn ;3; the demand and pricing for it seems to just be going up as the event comes to an end.

omg i am new and didn’t realize what the egg banners meant, accidentally refreshed the page and it was gone. other sites will keep the token available to claim if you miss it, wish that could be implemented for a feature like this.

for grabbing banners i would recommend clicking the time link at the bottom of the page. if a banner spawns while you spam click it, the banner moves the link out of the way so you cant accidentally refresh ^^

what is a time link? do the banners move? mine was up top and looked like an ad to me until i noticed it while refreshing /: i prob don’t have much time anyway since easter ended but didn’t feel great to miss totally.

ive been here years and i only just participated in an easter event. I usually only do stuff around summertime. I loved all the bunnies especially the lavender and ocean ones!

The time link is at the bottom right of the page. There it says "View mobile site | © Chicken Smoothie 2021 | 15:52, Apr 19th". You click the time and then you get to the time page.

Every time you refresh the page there is a chance the banner will appear. I’d still try and get whatever pet you reeeally want. Event pets have a higher chance of going rare than the monthly adopts.
