The first full-moon was unkind, the warm-body-turned-cold against
her back was an ever present reminder.

about, really. many full moons have past since that first one,
and jewel has learned how to cope with her lycanthropy in much
more.... productive ways. She'll never bite and tell, she often
jokes. she simply leaves it at "i was in college. need i say more."
jewel did finish college, however, she changed her major to
anthropology a few days after the 'incident'. to old friends,
the reason was "it's like history but way more interesting" but
to herself, the reason was out of fear of losing her humanity.
never the one to let things get the better of her,
jewel spent her days devoted to school and
her nights to her lycanthropy. shortly after graduating,
she did her best to fit into human society, but the utter
loneliness was gruesome. she knew there were others
like her/. Finding Selke was quite the journey. Despite
their recent situation and likely hardships ahead, Jewel
prefers the life she leads now to the one she left behind.

intentions of missing out on anything. you can often find the
apprentice "hiding in plain sight." that meaning, other cats
tend to forget his presence when discussing gossip
snailpaw is curious and adamant. without the
need to have external discussion, whether by choice or
some unknown force- he takes full
advantage of his capability to have discussions internally.
his goal is simple and crucial-- to get to the bottom of
valleyclan's mysteries. though young, the tom remembers
nursery tales of a time when valleyclan was much different.
he can't explain it, but he feels called to be valleyclan's sleuth.
what information will he dig up, only starclan knows, but he
has a feeling it is going to be something worth his while.

โโโโโโโโโโโโโ โฆโงโฆโงโฆโงโฆโง despite his relatively short tenure in sakura, ren has already made quite the name
for himself. he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy the notoriety, but if asked directly, he'll tell you the money is what
makes it worth it. neither of those things are dishonest-- he does also enjoy the money. making residence in sakura
a few years back took a lot of moxie. he visited the beach-town with some friends, and something about the ocean
and cherry blossom combo pulled him in; like the tide that pulled the sand out from beneath his feet when he
stood gazing seaward and decided once and for all that he would make the move.
the moxie part comes in play when you weigh out a guy like ren. he did not grow up poor, but he didn't grow up rich
either. and if ren was going to live in sakura, he was going to live in a place with an ocean view- right near the
boardwalk. as you can imagine a place like that ain't cheap. perhaps it was the motivation to afford his seaside place
that powered the charm that drew customers in -- and kept them coming back.
though ren is too collected to make public notice of his fame- always the humble server-
(he is no fool, he is well aware that his tactic is also what adds to the charm) there is one customer that has
charmed him. it is only a matter of days before he breaks his rule against mixing work and pleasure.

almost every time she closes her eyes. the waves
still pull sand from beneath her paws, the breeze
still knots her fur with salt. and yet, everything is
different. she never thought there would be
sunrises and sunsets without the ever-present
chattering from her family. her days' starts and
ends are certainly still filled with chatter, but
it's... different. Pearlwhisker isn't sure if the
melancholy is regretful or bittersweet, Pearl is
not sure of anything.
it has been 6 moons since she joined Tideclan.
they found her matted, white body sunken in
hunger and wedged between driftwood. her
grief wracked her bones together until she
was as empty as the shells once plucked from
hungry beaks. they had been wrong, she could
not care for herself. she could hardly catch anything
on her own, and she could not find shelter that
would last the night (evident from quite a few
mornings waking in salty sea water). and yet -
it was enough for the cats of Tideclan.
she was enough. she is, enough
