-failnaughtfire breaks down into sobs as sunflowerseed brings the body of his son back to camp. swordpaw loses it and emblempaw tries her best to comfort her sister. crestpaw doesnt know what to do except sob
-pouncewheat is affected so badly by sunglows death. first he lost his family and now his brother is gone. he has no one left
-morninglight is still not in a yass queen attitude. she is still in her psychotic break. she is not thinking correctly and when swanflight goes to check on emblempaw, she sneaks off, frustrated at how the other heals arent letting her leave the den; saying she needs to rest. she does not care bc she is too blinded by her deteriorating mental state. when she leaves camp secretly she travels to where they buried dewleaf and scorpionkit. she lays down before being swiftly awoken by a rogue who scented her. she hisses but knows her fighting knowledge is limited. the rogue lunges at her. morninglight screams for help and the rogues snarls, clawing her eyes. help comes quickly from sootpelt, carrotstalk, anacondapath, and ghostlight, who chase off the rogue. morninglight lifts her head and the patrol is horrified to see that the white she-cat’s face is torn open as blood pools around her. her front left leg is also coated in blood, and morninglight lets out a wail as carrotstalk tried to pick her leg up. the cats carry her back to camp where swanflight and wisteriaflight determined morninglight lost all control in her leg due to extensive nerve and muscle damage caused by the rogue, and she will never be able to see out of her right eye again

-cloudytree is so frustrated. no sign of foxkit anywhere. thats till thistle whispers to her that he knows which rogue camp foxkit is being held. they devise a plan of sneaking her out. neither of the two cats take into account how brainwashing the rogues are

Bacup’s excited for his lesson as an apprentice. Now that he has training with Songbird and Whetley with Northstar, the two don’t meet as much as they used to. Bacup finds a new friend in Shark, who’s closest to his age. Shark is a bad influence and Bacup’s very impressionable. This will be a good and healthy friendship.

When Bacup tells Whetley that he started his knight training, she’s happy and excited for him. When he leaves to join a patrol with his mentor she starts wondering if she too could do something else. She doesn’t want to disappoint Northstar and has no plans of defying her, but trying out something new could be a nice change. And useful too. She would learn the responsibilities of the roles of other members of the clan, which would help her be a better heir. She convinces herself that is is indeed a good idea and runs off to ask Amber i she would take her on as an apprentice. Amber doesn’t give her a straight answer, but promises to think about it.

Songbird goes to talk to the leader. He explains the situation that happened between Gentleman and Amber. Northstar takes Gentleman’s side and adds that “Amber is useless anyway and the clan will be better off without her.” Anger wells up inside him, but he keeps it in. A happy Bacup joins him ready for their daily training, but Song is too upset to focus so instead he leads the young apprentice to the spot in the far part of the territory that he discovered last moon. He confines in Bacup that he plans to make his own clan with his own rules right here. Bacup’s the first cat he’s told about it. The kibbit’s a little scared of Northstar’s reaction to that when she finds out, but the feeling of joy is stronger. He puffs out his chest, proud that his mentor put so much trust in him, as they both look at the grounds of their newly created clan.

“Guysh, guysh wook wot i found! Im gonna keep it.”
“No. You’re too irresponsible.”
“What?!”, Jinx opens her mouth and accidentally drops the kitten she brought to show the rest of the patrol. “Oops. When have I ever been irresponsible?!”
“Every time. You forget to bring prey from patrols because you get distracted or bored.”
“That happened once!”
“Once per patrol.”
“Fine, whatever! One day I’ll have my own family and have plenty of kittens to play with, unlike you!”
Jinx does a “Hmpfh!” and starts ostentatiously walking away, mumbling to herself, but loud enough for anyone to hear.

Nightfall carries the kitten back to camp. The patrol is greeted by Thornblaze and his apprentice. Nightfall looks at Thornblaze and he understands the look as ‘you know how to be a father, you’ve taken in orphans before, take this one too’. The tom laughs.
“No can do, my friend. I already have two kits of my own and this guy here to train. That’s enough for me.”
“I can take the little bugger.” Shark starts walking towards the kitten.
“No.”
“Big boss says no, no can do.” Shark starts walking away from the kitten.

The two take the kitten and carry it over to the nursery. Northstar approaches Nightfall.
“I send you out to bring me powerful knights to strengthen our clan and you bring this?” I’m disappointed with you.“ Northstar glares at Nightfall unpleasantly. “You should have left it.”
“If I was alone, I would have. Because that’s how you survive alone.” Nightfall turns his gaze away from the sleeping kitten to his leader. “But she’ll be useful to the clan. She’ll soon be an apprentice and I can train her myself. Our strength is in numbers.”
Northstar doesn’t say anything, but smiles slightly and suspiciously, then walks away.

“Would you really have left it?” Stargazer, who had been listening to the whole conversation, looks at the tom with sad eyes.
“Yes.”
“Really? I find it hard to believe. You don’t seem to me like the type.”
“I would have left it. At a border of some nice clan.” Nightfall stares into the distance.
“Aww! I knew you have a heart of gold.” Stargazer rubs on Night’s shoulder affectionately. “Have you ever thought about having kits of your own?”
“Uhh… maybe.”
“I think you’d be a good dad. And a good mate. You’re smart. Caring. Handsome.” Star starts laughing, knowing that he made Nightfall uncomfortable. The tom was very bad at taking complements and being shown any sort of affection. Lucky he had black fur or he would be blushing. To avoid responding or facing Stargazer, Night turns his attention to Seashell. The molly has been nearly frozen since Jinx brought the kitten to them. She stayed quiet and walked behind the rest like in a daze.

“Are you okay, Seashell?” The molly’s eyes leave the kitten for the first time. “Yes?”, she says, barely acknowledging what Nightfall asked her.
“Don’t worry about it. Owl is a great nurse, she’ll take care of it. Don’t feel like it’s your responsibility just because our group found it. You can help it by helping the clan, just like you’re doing right now. Take your time to get used to this clan. Don’t feel pressured to do anything.” Seashell gives a nervous laughter. She takes a couple of steadying breaths and eventually nods her head. “Alright. Thank you. I think… I think I needed to hear that. Thank you.” She smiles softly, gives a shy goodbye and leaves towards her den.
Stargazer has hearts in his eyes. Nightfall is the most lovable, caring and underappreciated tom he’d ever known.

By the end of the moon a new family finds it’s way to the clan. Northstar is delighted. They’re kits joined by a molly who’s a skilled hunter and North is positive she’ll raise her kits to be great additions to the clan. The only downside of that is that there are now 6 little muses in the nursery and the clan will have to work harder to feed everyone. Northstar decides to appoint three head knights that will now be responsible for their hunting patrol groups, Nightfall, Rainstorm and Thornblaze.

Fortune’s yoga classes grow in popularity. Jinx drops out, but Stargazer, Seashell and Songbird join. Bacup is there for one class, but gets banned for making fun of the other attendees.

Squeezing inside, he inched deeper and deeper towards the thick prey-scent, faltering when the fresh smell of prey was intermingled with the rancid scent of a badger. Sightblaze knew he had to turn back, turning around to go the opposite direction before he heard the enraged screech of the predator and felt its claws dig into his tail. All his might did nothing to break free from its grasp as it dragged him closer, and his final thoughts as the badger delivered a killing bite to his neck were filled with despair for Emeraldchin, their unborn kits, and the irony that he once again was denied the chance to be in love seasons after what had happened to his Bloom...

✦the high ranking cats of the clan come together and decide that they feel as though they are not intended to stay in this territory any longer, due to their angelic mission being cut off with their connection being gone now. it is decided to tell the clan at the next clan meeting about the decision, and give them the time to properly prepare before they leave.
✦a few of the cats with secret relationships in the neighboring crossroads demons visit their mates at the border to explain the fear that they are going to lose them to the move. among those that visit and tell the news are dewdrop to her mates axel and percy, ivorytower to her mate selto, brother dove, and aunt lilith, stoatsnout to his mates tizrath and reaper, and lucius to his mate narcissa.

✦sightblaze's body is brought back to the camp by a very solemn patrol, with poppyspark and inkbread deciding to to to the nursery to share the news with the munchkin cat's mate and comfort her. emeraldchin mourns deeply for the loss of sightblaze, and is nearly inconsolable that their kits will never meet their father, just a single moon before their deaths.

or x1 feverfew. After that, Rum scents a squirrel and stalks after it,
but the squirrel is alerted by Rum stepping on a stick. He quickly chased after
it, running across a road. He kills it on the road and begins to run towards the
forest, but a truck was quicker than him and ran the ginger tabby over...

x1 freezer pizza!

Hunting (Wheaties' patrol); Wheaties patrol catches x1 squirrel!

Pin learns a skill, but is scratched by a pointed rock. She
puts off going to get it checked out until after she passes,
where Coffee determines that the scratch has become infected

Pan passes their final, but steps on a sharp
piece of glass and the wound quickly becomes infected.
They will need 1 moon of rest or x1 chervil and
x1 horsetail.
Shell falls to learn a skill this moon after she scratches her
nose on a tree branch and has to go to the medicine cat.
To stop her bleeding, she will need 1 moon of rest or

Chapin learns a skill, but is injured after a kittypet decides
to bully the apprentice. Beluga chases the kittypet off, but
