This is a rough sketch of what I am thinking. Is this ok? I will, of course, make some minor changes so it looks better if you like it, but I just want to make sure this is ok before I start doing big stuff. If you have any colors you like, just tell me!

Things I wasn't sure about:
Hind legs, should I add them?
Shark-like face. Should it be more dog?
Hands. I gave it hands instead of paws. This cool?
Tail shape. Yeah or nah?
Fluff amount. More?
