I'm really thankful for my siblings, we've always been there for each other and have always been really close, I'm thankful for the memories and bond that we share.
I'm really thankful for my mom. She's been through so, so much and has done a lot for me and my siblings, I'm thankful for the love she's given me, and for the life I've been given, my family and I have all been through so much together, life has been a never ending struggle, and we may not be able to do a whole lot in life, but I'm still very thankful for what I have.

I'm also so thankful for everyone in the Kal community, staff and members, you all have been so kind and patient with me, and I truly appreciate you guys!

Prompt Response: This is super cheesy n mushy, but I'm thankful for my boyfriend, as when we started dating I was in a rough patch while my life was turned upside down due to family stress, health issues, and school. He's been nothing but my rock through everything we've faced the last 4.5 years and is one of the only people I truly feel safe with. To me, he is home, no matter what happens or where we end up.

I'm super thankful for all of the really awesome opportunities that I've had at the end of my education. Today I presented my research at an international conference and it led to me helping out a PhD with their project! I'm also excited that I'm going to be able to use my degree in a job without further schooling (for now), and get to give a speech on research tomorrow to my peers. Fun things!

I'm really thankful to have such supportive family members. I've been really struggling with decisions regarding my future lately, (who I want to be, what I want to do with my life, all that stuff) so it really helps to know that no matter what I do, it'll be okay and they're still willing to support me. I really appreciate them so much.
I'm also really thankful for my mom in general! She has always been absolutely amazing and I appreciate every little thing she does to make sure I'm doing okay.

Oh! Hello! So I'm here to close up shop, but... I was told I could give you guys a little hint about what's going on. And I feel like you've.. earned it, you know? Hehe...

We decided it would be okay to show you all now what's been happening behind the scenes... Last week, we found three black bear cubs who had been separated from their mother! Unfortunately, though Forrest and I have been looking hard, she is nowhere to be found. We've been taking care of them in the meantime, they're such curious little things! Those little guys eat so much... it's been hard on both of us, and the shop too.

Birdie absentmindedly hands you the usual amount of 10 Snow Shines, seeming to ramble a bit more than usual today. You finally understand why she's been so tired!

It's funny, right? I had this conversation with Forrest, she told me to take my own advice and try asking for help from others for once. I may not look it, but I can be pretty stubborn. That is to say... would you mind keeping an eye out for the bear momma? I'll give you a little extra if you help me look.

Then Birdie gestures to her right. You look over and there they are! The bears! One seems to be climbing his way up a tree, another one is running in circles and the last one just looks at you, almost expectantly.



A few people used their sharp perceptions to figure out what Birdie and Forrest had been hiding this whole time... or rather they just happened to see the bears in the nearby shed when Birdie was too busy running the cabin to catch people snooping around. Of those people though, a few were willing to help out with the rowdy cubs and to them, Birdie begrudgingly awards Best Helper and 20 snow shines.

You return to the cabin, rather excited about things that have been happening lately. Bear cubs! You beam in excitement and see Forrest, as usual, ready to open up the cabin. You don't even mind that it's opening later today than usual! You kind of understand why.

Ah... hello!! I uh.. I hope you guys are having fun. You all know about what's happening now, and I'm so excited you guys can help!

He taps his paws together, swaying his tail in excitement like a little dog. It's honestly incredibly cute! He seems so excited to introduce the new prompt to you.

Aren't they all so cute? They bring me so, so much joy... just look at them. You know, when we found them I... I could barely contain myself. I was so excited to share, because you guys seemed so interested in my love of bears. I wanted to show you them, too! We found them so soon after I shared with you...

You ask about the cubs, about whether or not Forrest knew he wasn't supposed to take them home. They should leave the cubs for the mother to find, right? That would have saved them a lot of trouble, wouldn't it? And if the mom get's mad...

Ahaha... Yes, I knew to leave them be, but... I think they think Birdie and I are their parents? Basically, I was out foraging and they... followed me home? We tried what we could to keep them in place but they just followed us everywhere we went and got into everything... sure, I was suuuper excited and happy! It's a wonderful, funny memory. And bears bring me a whole lot of comfort!!! But now we're looking for the mom so they can all be safe with her. What about you though?
