Alex walked over "what is it Dixie?" she asked. Stroking her dog's head. Her brows furrowed worriedly. "that's it... I'm calling Scott." she said. She walked into the house, calling Scott.

Jerome laid his head on his paws, sighing quietly. How did she get the stomach bug? He sighed again and put his ear flat against his head, watching Alex.

Alex came out of the house talking to Scott "no... She couldn't get hold of any chocolate... You know I can't eat that... It runs my blood sugar sky high..." she said. She paused listening to Scott "it's a possibility...." she said. "she could have... She's been chasing squirrels.... Do you think it's from the squirrels?" she asked.... She nodded "ok... But hurry.... She's not acting like her normal self..." she hung up with Scott. "scott's Comming she said, kneeling down, petting Dixie's head.

Dixie snorted. Just laying there. She didn't want to move. She situated her back legs, and snorted again.

Who the heck is Scott? Jerome thought, remaining still. He pulled his back legs close to his abdomen, curling his tail beside his legs.

About twenty minutes later.... Scott pulled into the driveway and honked, seeing Alex wave, he got out and began walking over to her. Scott was a family friend... He was also a vet and he was the one who gave Alex's parents Dixie when Alex was in a coma. He walked over and looked at the dog. "has she been acting like this any other time?" he asked, examining Dixie... Beings that Alex was mikes away from a good vets office, scott was her only solution. Alex shook her head "not that I know of..." she said.

Dixie snapped at Scott's hand, but Alex held her down.

Scott sighed "I'm gueasing it's only a bacterial bug.... But I'm gonna take a look around to see if there is anything she might have eaten." he said, getting up, and walking around the cabin.

Sakura finally got tired of barking and ran into Steph's room, jumping on the bed after a few tries. She squeezed under the blankets and laid by Steph's stomach.

Scott came back "I didn't see anything... She might have just eaten some if the horse food and it's not agreeing with her stomach.... Here. Give her these just in case... Their antibiotics to get rid of the bug. If it is.... Mix them in her food." he said.

Dixie sat up "uh oh..." she padded way from the group and threw up again. She snorted and sat there.

Alex sighed "ok... But I still don't know what she could have eaten... She said."

Scott shook his head "yeah well those should helP her.... If they don't take her to a regular vet." he said, picking up his things."
