Ambition. Froststar's eyes were always set at the top. She always strives for improvement. Thus, she often seems rigid, cool, and closed-off to others. It can take a little bit of effort to find yourself within her walls to witness her inner turbulence.

Froststar let her clan decide what to do following the warning. Those who decided to leave she sent away with Cinderbird as their leader. She promised to remain with those who decided to stay. Most of her clan decided to flee by the time the biggest disasters were striking, but many waited until the last minute. Froststar ultimately lost two lives, which she has yet to disclose to any other living souls.

After the crisis, Froststar is desperate to unite Forestclan's survivors and is willing to take others under her wing. Naturally, she believes her role is to lead--9 lives and divine right and all that jazz.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

A handsome tom with an elegant tabby pattern of deep browns, Applefur's coat is his most distinct feature that sets him aside from his Clanmates. Rather uncommon but not unnatural, a short, sleek pelt clings to his tall and lean frame. Large spots with dark rings cover the entirety of his flanks, with tabby stripes offsetting his legs, face, and chest. A pair of icy green emeralds show him the world, their shallow depths reflecting the most minute flicker of light. A white muzzle and large ears finish his points.

Applefur is a stoic and intelligent tom who makes up for his slender frame with his eager mind; he would much rather fight a battle of wits than a battle of strength. He is friendly and reserved, eager to serve those around him and use his skills to contribute to his Clan. Charming he is, Applefur is polite to cats of higher age or authority, and he is respectful to all forms of life. He is a delightful and eager young tom to be around, and he strives to please everyone; he takes life as it is and nothing more. He values loyalty above all else and will stick by his Clanmates until the very end. Or so he thought...

Applefur's early life was relatively uneventful; the sole kit of his litter, he was no stranger to attention growing up and was eager to train as an apprentice. He spent his apprenticeship as any tom does, learning the techniques of the forest and honing his agility while bonding with his fellow trainees. Named for his dazzling coat, Applefur carried himself with pride wherever he went.

Applefur's monotonous life changed one day as tremors began to shake the ground beneath his Clan. He was a firm believer in StarClan; when one of the Clan's medicine cats had announced their terrible nightmare, he watched in horror as most of his Clanmates chose to wait for more news. StarClan would never misguide us, he thought to himself often. One day, the tremors simply became too frequent for Applefur to ignore. He made the most selfish decision of his life; he fled for the mountains and left his Clan behind to fend for himself, valuing his own life over his loyalty to them. The mountain air was harsh on his ill-adapted lungs, but he fought through the discomfort and continued to trek on.

When the sky filled with smoke and the mountain's cries ripped through the air, Applefur's chest filled with eerie unsettlement as he realized what had become of the cats who stayed behind. He fought back feelings of horror as he thought about his Clanmates that remained loyal to their Clan until the end. But he couldn't help but feel relieved that he had made the right decision, as the disasters that struck his former home only solidified his choice.

And thus became Applefur's outlook on life: StarClan would never misguide us.

Ravensong is quite large for a she-cat; her long, dark fur makes her look even bigger than she is. Her pelt is mostly black but her top coat may appear dark brown when the sunlight shines on it directly. Her body is covered in several scars from moons of defending her Clan, but her yellow eyes appear youthful on her weathered frame. She has a snaggletooth on the left side of her mouth, perhaps alluding to her sharp tongue.

She is a talkative and friendly she-cat, though her old age has turned her more pessimistic than the rest of her young Clanmates. She loves to share her stories with everyone, though she has a soft spot for the kits and apprentices as she was never able to have a family of her own. She spends her remaining days relaxing under the sun and getting caught up on the latest gossip.


Ravensong's Clan life was not much different than any other cat's; she spent her youth defending her Clan as a brave and noble warrior. Her large size made hunting and fighting an easy task, and she often volunteered to lead patrols through their territory. Toms never tickled her fancy, so Ravensong remained kit-free. However, she spent plenty of time chatting with the other queens and making sure that their kits were fed.

After a particularly nasty battle between BrookClan and MeadowClan, Ravensong noted the physical toll that it took on her body and decided that it was time to reluctantly resign to the elders' den. She spent her days telling stories to the kits and keeping up on the latest Clan gossip. She swears that it keeps her youthful, despite a lack of evidence from any Medicine Cat...

Ravensong barely survived the initial onset of disasters, but she was able to escape with the aid of Deerspot. Though her body was once strong, she has succumbed to the nature of old age and no longer has the stamina to stay on the run for moons. Her faith in StarClan is unwavering, and she seeks vengeance for whoever dared to make them so angry.
