───────────────────────────────────────

North✰star | leader | female | tags: Crown of Frost of the Golden Kingdom (ponz), Lightningstar & Strawberryfall of Swiftclan (Phina D Wolf)
As she listens to Lightningstar’s story North’s gaze grows more and more astounded and confused. “My oh my”, she says finally. “What terrible curse have you brought upon yourselves and what did you do to deserve it?” Until now North might have seemed rather unpleasant and egocentric, but now she sounds genuinely concerned and a little bit afraid. She moves back very slightly away from the tom, hoping that noone will notice, in case time anomalies are contagious.

Whetley | apprentice | female | tags: Dandelionstar of Arcticclan (Smallfox)
She shook her head, her large ears moving from side to side. “Not exactly. My leader said that I was chosen by Starclan to be her deputy, but I’m too young to take the position so she’s teaching me about my future responsibilities. That’s why she brought me to this gathering - to meet other clan leaders and learn from them as well.” She’s smiling brightly, her chest puffed out in pride. Whetley’s unsure whether she should laugh at the joke or feel sorry for the leaders that their coats turned white from stress. She chuckled nervously, hoping it was the right response. “Oh, it’s great. All the cats are so nice, the Knights bring us plenty of food from the lake and rivers and our Sylph takes great care of everyone’s health.” She clears her throat and asks the next question rather shyly. “Is it really that stressful to be a leader?”

Gentleman | warrior | male | tags: Tsunamibite of Tundraclan (selkirks)
“That’s true, my friend.” Gentleman licks his nose, a trait which he often shows when he gets enthralled in a story. “What a bizarre tale. A witch who still lives even after death. Incredible. I will remember that name.” And in a quiet voice, sounding more like he’s talking to himself, he whispers: “Duostar”. “Thank you for the warning. I’ll make sure to relay it to my leader.”

Jinx| warrior | female | tags: Tourbillonpelt of Chessclan (chaotic creativity)
Jinx was soaking in every word. The life of other clans was so interesting to her. “Wait, what do you mean that our clans are strong? Do you mean we have powerful cats? Because that’s true, I’m very powerful. But is there anything else? I don’t want my clan to fall apart! If it does, my sister will force me to be a kittypet again!”

Songbird | warrior | male | tags: Snowbell of Auroraclan (Red weasel)
Songbird smiles and nods. “I agree with you completely. All cats deserve respect and equal treatment. I wish my leader thought the same way.” He shifts in his seat and makes himself a little more comfortable. “Actually, we’ve had an argument about outside relationships recently too. How was it settled in your clan?”

Lady Fortune | seer | female | tags: Leafglow of Chaosclan (Kazin)
“Oh, yes, everything has a meaning. But you don’t worry about this little thing.” She winks to Leafglow and moves her paw over the dirt, getting rid of the symbol. “That’s a lot of responsibility your father is putting on you. How does that make you feel? When’s the last time you spent some time in a lavender field?”

Stargazer | warrior | male | tags: Raccoonbounce of Wheatclan (Bugbelly)
The tom’s eyes glittered with enthusiasm. “Right?!”, he said excitedly. “Finally someone who understand me! Frogs are way too slimy and way too cool to eat!” He clearly didn’t fully understand his companion and his face had a bright smile. “If you’d like, you can come and look for them with me.”

𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙣 !!

cockroachstar - tom - 75m - marquess/leader - tags; carrotstar (seaclan)

Cockroachstar's looked a bit confused on the names, but let out a hearty purr anyways, "Such beautiful names! I do not recognize them, but it doesn't take knowledge to see the beauty in them." The maine coon was wondering what the names meant, but went on, "Hollystar and I's first deputy, Voleflight, has a son named Wintersneak who had kits, and named one Volekit in honor of her. He's a sweet tom, and I'm glad he memorialized Voleflight." Cockroachstar felt the familiar heaviness in the back of his throat that signaled sobs, but he pushed it down, unwilling to dwell on how Voleflight was dead.

hollystar - she-cat - 70m - marchioness/leader - tags; richterstar

Hollystar nodded, “I hope your leadership ends up going smoothly. It was… definitely rocky the first few moons of my leadership,” she let out a laugh, “especially considering the circumstances and how i became leader.” her ton grew more solemn but she continued, “Things are like an up and down hill, but as long as you keep the cats who support you and love you close, it’ll always get better.” she meowed reassuringly.

tsunamibite - tom - 85m - earl/deputy - tags; gentleman (whiskered away)

Tsunamibite nodded fervently, "It's my pleasure, really. I was alive before she even became leader. When she was still a Knight, no one suspected a thing. That was till all the murderers she caused were exposed and she revealed to us her true nature. I sincerely hope you and your clanmates never have to deal with a cat like her. If you do, I have advice for dealing with... witches like that." His meow was humorous but his eyes betrayed solemness, as if remembering something from moons before.

swanflight - genderfluid (she/he) - 23m - healer - tags; hibiscusmeadow (wheatclan)

Swanflight purred with gratitude. He nodded as the tom explained Wheatclan's whereabouts, "Yup! Tundra almost all around us. Not fun for shorthair cats," he joked before continuing, "It's cold a lot of the time, so I'm always glad to go to a gathering to get away from the chill, but I don't like to leave my patients for too long." she mused, before her voice took on a humorous tone, "Cats here who lack fluffy, long fur end up having to use moss as blankets to keep warm." he giggled, remembering how he had to do so when he was younger.

wisteriaflight - demiboy - 48m - healer - tags; autumnsong (truffleclan)

The Birman gave a soft purr, “Congratulations! I was the first Healer in Tundraclan to have kits, just not the first cat to have a litter of kits.” Wisteriaflight barely knew the she-cat but was proud nonetheless, as having kits was a major dream for some cats. He laughed at her joke, “No worries! Tundraclan is peaceful and we don’t fight other clans. We have enough prey to sustain ourselves.” Wisteriaflight mewed. He mused about the fungi called truffle, “Interesting! I don’t believe I have seen truffle in the tundra, but it sounds useful.”

failnaughtfire - tom - 38m - knight - tags; sloeface (swiftclan)

Swordpaw's purrs were deafening. Sloeface may not be her mother, but Swordpaw felt a rush of affection and love for Sloeface as if the she-cat was her mother. "I would love that, right, daddy?" She faced towards Failnaughtfire and he nodded happily, looking at Sloeface with utmost appreciation in his eyes. The albino tom mewed, "Swordpaw has three other siblings; Emblempaw, Bowpaw, and Crestkit. Emblempaw is a bit scared of kits since he-" Failnaughtfire stopped and shook his head trying to keep remembering his daughter's new pronouns, "Since she is worried about stepping on them." He purred with laughter.

swordpaw - she-cat - 6m - weakling - tags; sloeface (swiftclan)

with failnaughtfire

oasisrunner - tom - 19m - tags; sandrunner (the fallen)

Oasisrunner let out a laugh as well, "I feel that. I find myself being too busy talking with some of my clanmates to really pay attention to the journey and my surroundings. I'm very glad to be here though, it's really cold in the tundra and even with this long fur, it's a pain during the cold season!" Oasisrunner chuckled

ChaosClan

cat name -- gender -- rank -- tagged: open
      writing

Mockingbirdstar -- tom -- leader -- tagged: open
ChaosClan hadn't attended for a bit, a fact that made Mockingbirdstar a bit nervous; especially that he and Charstar had been taking turns coming here. Now that they were both here, it felt weird to leave the clan vulnerable, but he trusted Morningdew. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, Mockingbirdstar took a deep breath, padding into the center amongst the other leaders.

Charstar -- tom -- leader -- tagged: open
Charstar felt confident going into the gathering, sure that ChaosClan was a sizable and strong clan. He wanted to hear other stories from other clans, to hear how others had been faring since Leafbare.

Silverdance -- tom -- Hunting Captain -- tagged: open
Silverdance, as per usual with him, had a serene smile on his face as he glided peacefully through the crowd, waiting for someone to catch his interest or catch his eye. He was no stranger to having fun, humming a quiet tune he had heard from the birds on the way here as he strolled through unfamiliar cats, totally at peace.

Foxglow -- she-cat -- Scouting Captain -- tagged: open
Every so often, Foxglow would perk her ears at the sight of a somewhat familiar pelt, wondering who else might have come from her old clan; she was wondering if she would see any familiar faces. LostClan was a distant memory of her past now, but still a piece of her past she did not want to forget, wondering if there were other cats out there that felt the same.

Scorchlight -- she-cat -- Healer -- tagged: Tombecho (Outback Runners)
Scorchlight's face lit up at Tombecho gave her the compliment. "Thank you, that's truly the highest compliment I could have." She waited as Tombecho carried on, her heart clenching in happiness. "I think training an apprentice with my other healer would be a great idea actually - that way we can both still help each other and be a team moreso than me training little Bananakit when he's ready..." She trailed off, thinking about the future. "I think I'm going to talk to Cardinalspike about that when I get back, thank you for sharing your wisdom, Tombecho," she said, smiling at them.

Fudgetuft -- tom -- Hunter -- tagged: open
Bouncing through the crowd on the tops of his toes to try and see better, Fudgetuft was elated at the sight of so many potential friends he could interact with! He was a happy cat, eyes wide with excitement and happiness, almost buzzing as he scanned the crowd for someone fun to talk to.

Leafglow -- she-cat -- Scout -- tagged: Lady Fortune (Whiskered Away)
Squinting slightly, Leafglow thought about pressing about the symbol more, but then shook her head slightly and decided against it. "I don't really mind the responsibility," Leafglow said, nodding. "I love my family, and my littermates and I are all we have right now, so anything I can do to protect them is fine by me." Leafglow felt her ears perk, confused. "I'm not sure I've been to a lavender field," she admitted, one claw digging into the dirt. "Why?"

Burdockpaw -- tom -- apprentice -- tagged: Robinpatch (SwiftClan), Peachmeadow (TruffleClan)
Burdockpaw gained a far off look, thinking about what Robinpatch had said. "Thanks for your perspective," he noted, blinking slightly. "I guess I could just be a bit more open minded about these things."

As the other cat approached, Burdockpaw got what Robinpatch might have been talking about. He quietly dipped his head in a greeting towards the newcomer, standing up to leave the pair alone. "Thanks for the chat," he said, respectfully bowing his head towards Robinpatch. "Maybe I'll go find someone else that doesn't like small talk either," he joked.

Chicorypaw -- she-cat -- apprentice -- tagged: Parsnippaw (WheatClan)
Chicorypaw nodded her head enthusiastically at the thought of the large gathering. "You know, my mentor always told me the gathering would be big and maybe overwhelming, and I don't think I really believed her until now. It really is huge! There are so many cats! I love it!" Chicorypaw took a pause as Parsnippaw asked her question. "Yeah, I think so! I haven't really cared to find a chicory, to be honest, to know what I'm named after - I know that my dad said my mom really wanted my name to be Chicorykit, though I never got to meet her..." Chicorypaw's tail slightly drooped before springing back up to her excited position. "I don't think I know what a parsnip is though, what are you named after?"

Re: Auroraclan - April - 5

Auroraclan

Laurelstar - 51 - She/her - Leader - ivystar, Spruceclan - The lightness of her own story began to swell in Laurelstar, her tail swaying happily behind her. It her just in time to truly ponder Ivystars question, removed slightly from the stress of the rising tension in her clan. “Well…there are many downsides,I’ve seen far too much tension in my own clan, but it is also one of the most full filling things I’ve ever done. Being able to rebuild my home, knowing that I’ve created a new home from others, it’d magical in away. I get to watch the young firsthand as they grow into amazing warriors. I wouldn’t trade I’m the experience in for the world, even if some days I wish things were easier. “

Brushfang - 106 - He/him - elder - lynxcry, Wheatclan - Though his usually sour demeanor, Brushfang couldn’t help but smile. Truly he was with a real respectable warrior. “Brushfang of Auroraclan” he said, traces of pride carried in his voice. The clan has been his home all his life, and he took pride in knowing that he was there to see if rebuilt. “You must be from a well managed clan” he said, as he believed most respectable cats had to come from respectable backgrounds.

Snowbell - 33 - She/here - warrior - Songbird, Whiskered away - “It was quite the fightl Snowbell mewed, looking up to the sky as she thought about the events that had transpired. “When it was revealed that our leaders cousin was pregnant, several cats began to argue that it was against the code. I was one who decided to argue back against them, it got quite heated.” Snowbell shuddered think about the arguing. She wasn't built to fight like that, but she couldn’t sit by as arguments rage. “A newly accepted queen spoke up. Said that a clan who needed kids couldn’t be picky, and that they should be ashamed of ever thinking about casting out innocent lives. The one of the toms approached her, might have attached her Laurelstar didn’t call for intervening. She decided that if cross clan relationships were not meant to be, they simply wouldn’t. It was quite the event, I hope your clan too can come to the right call.”

I can add more cats if anyone needs, just to just to make a much of starters all at once

SPRUCECLAN
-----

IVYSTAR | Leader | F | 59 moons | TAGS: Laurelstar (AuroraClan)
“It really is magical, isn’t it?” Ivystar said softly. The shine in Laurelstar’s eyes, the absolute joy in her fellow leader’s expression… It was inspiring, stoking the fire of clan pride that had always burned bright in her heart. “I’m deeply fortunate to lead SpruceClan, through good times and through bad.” Ivystar smiled wistfully. “Our clanmates trusted us with leadership, and from the sounds of it, you are upholding their trust wonderfully. I hope you will always be proud of yourself for that.

MINTFUR | Warrior | M | 51 moons | TAGS: open
Mintfur yawned as he padded off, in spite of himself. He was bone-tired and weary, after chasing his son Darkpaw all around camp, and then traveling a full day down the mountain to reach the Gathering-place. Still, he’d come all this way, so he might as well try and enjoy himself. “Sssleepy…” Mintfur murmured, rubbing at his face with a large black paw. “Wonder if s-someone feelsss up for a chat…”

BADGERSTRIPE | Warrior | M | 45 moons | TAGS: Aardwolf’s Mane (Order of the Hyena)
“I see,” Badgerstripe meowed. “So you are like a scout that reports directly to your leader? Am I understanding that correctly?” He cocked his head in thought, visualizing a single-cat border patrol that carried information directly to Ivystar. It seemed a little inefficient, but then again, the savannah was open terrain, unlike to his dense, tumultuous mountain territory. Maybe it worked perfectly fine? “I’m not sure that we have a rank like that in SpruceClan. Most of our border patrols move in groups.”

——————

GOLDEN KINGDOM
-----

CROWN OF FROST | Monarch | F | 27 moons | TAGS: Northstar (Whiskered Away), Lightningstar & Strawberryfall (SwiftClan)
Crown of Frost listened intently as Lightningstar described his anomalous clan’s territory and precarious relationship with time, an unexpected feeling of kinship stirring in her heart. “How strange,” she murmured. “My kingdom has its own fair share of temporal inconsistencies and territorial shifting, too. I wonder if…” Frost stopped, then, cutting herself off before she could share anything too incriminating. There were some things that were best kept secret, after all. “Well!” Crown of Frost turned to smile reassuringly at the startled Northstar. “As far as I know, neither SwiftClan nor the Golden Kingdom have been cursed. Perhaps these things are just written in the stars?”

ADDER’S HISS | Royal Guard | M | 79 moons | TAGS: Badgerstar (The Fallen)
Adder’s Hiss threw his head back with a laugh, amused by Badgerstar’s blunt honesty. “No kidding,” he chuckled. “Y’know, the Golden Kingdom jus’ had a leadership change in the past few moons. Chaotic would be too kind of a word to describe it.” He shook his head and sighed. “Well, in any case, I hope you haven’t had too much trouble takin’ over the role. Or, at the very least, have you enjoyed leadership so far?”

OPAL’S GLEAM | Knight | NB | 46 moons | TAGS: open
Opal’s Gleam sat in a secluded corner of the clearing, keeping an eye on Young Lavender as their niece enjoyed her very first Gathering. They hummed to a tune no other cat could hear, one that Aspen’s Leaves had taught them many moons ago. Opal’s Gleam smiled at all those cats who passed them by, light eyes sharp and observant, and wondered what all these strangers were like in the comfort of their own clan’s dens.

YOUNG LAVENDER | Squire | F | 7 moons | TAGS: Dukewing & Privetpaw (SeaClan)
“You’re so cool, Miss Privetpaw!” Lavender yelped. “Just like Raven’s Lament!” Her large grey ears twitched briefly in the direction the Golden Kingdom had entered the clearing. “He’s one of the knights from the kingdom, and he hurt his shoulder when he was a squire like me. He can’t use that leg very well, but he’s still one of the best hunters we have.” Saying this, Young Lavender mimed pouncing on a small leaf with just one paw. “I’m glad your shoulder is all better now,” she added quickly, worried her nonchalance might be seen as rude.

the fallen

badgerstar|leader|49 moons|molly| adder's hiss (golden kingdom)

badgerstar felt a little more at ease talking with adder's hiss, he seemed to understand her situation to some extent, which was a nice change from what she was used to back home. "i thought getting the position was hard, but actually filling in the role... its been rough." she thought back to when she first got the title, when she overthrew the prior leader, everyone was so afraid of her then, but now some of them thought themselves to be confident enough to try and defy her. "it doesn't help when i'm not particularly popular among the clan."

sandrunner|warrior|48 moons|tom|oasisrunner (tundraclan)

sandrunner's ears perked up at the mention of it being really cold. it wasn't very cold in the fallen, usually only during the cold season, even then it bothered sandrunner considering his fur was not super long. "it gets pretty cold in the fallen during the cold season as well, i can't stand it really." he laughed. "you said you were from a tundra? is it always cold there?"

fangsnap|warrior|18 moons|tom|open

fangsnap was very excited to be here, he had never been to a gathering before so he was quite excited to meet all the new people. he did not waste any time splitting away from his clanmates and disappearing into the sea of gathered cats.

hailstorm|warrior|22 moons|tom| hornetsting (the fallen), open

hailstorm decided to hang back with hornetsting. the two were still a little rocky relationship wise after their huge argument, some part of hailstorm thought that if he stuck around with her tonight their friendship would be mended. "there's a lot of cats here tonight."

hornetsting|warrior|19 moons|molly | hailstorm (the fallen), open

hornetsting glanced over at hailstorm as he spoke. "it's a gathering, there's supposed to be a bunch of cats here." she was still being a little cold towards him, and she could tell he was making attempts at fixing everything.

wavepelt|warrior|47 moons|molly|open

looking around for someone to chat with.

Auroraclan

Laurelstar - 51 - She/her - Leader - ivystar, Spruceclan - Laurelstar smiled at the fellow leader, her kindness ringing in Laurelstars mind. Still though something lingered at the edge of her mind. Pride. That was surely something she hoped she could have. Something she wished she’d had now. “I know that I’m not who many in the clan would have picked, and I never got to be a deputy. Sometimes I wonder if I missed out on lessons I needed to learn to be a good leader, but..”, Laurelstar hesitated, not wanting to sound foolish to her peer. Stopping now would likely only secure the chance for her to sound like a fool. “I supposed we are all chosen for a reason, and we have to have faith in that reason”. People could be wrong, she thought to herself, but if she focused on worrying about that fact, she would only ever assure that she wasn’t capable. Where there was doubt, she had to meet the occasion with as much confidence as she could muster.

Whiskered Away ✰ Gathering #022 ✰ April #12

ฬђเรкєгє๔ คฬคץ

───────────────────────────────────────

North✰star | leader | female | tags: Crown of Frost of the Golden Kingdom (ponz), Lightningstar & Strawberryfall of Swiftclan (Phina D Wolf)
The molly’s eyes widened even further as she listened to Frost. She moved away from the molly as well. Better safe than sorry. “My, I sure hope Starclan has nothing similar written for me” and she laughed as though she just said a good joke. “How did you deal with those… um, not-curses?” There still was a hint of worry in her voice.

The plump tom padded the ground with his front paws, absorbing the curious tale. “Please, do share your advice. It will be invaluable. As someone who’s known her as a witch and undercover, I’m sure you have much information to share.” Gentleman looked much more interested in the conversation now than in the beginning when he hoped to learn nothing more unusual than the latest forbidden romances. Tsunamibite has exceeded his expectations. “I have heard of certain herbs that are meant to repel evil forces, but I never believed they actually work.”

Song listens, nodding his head from time to time. “The situation was quite similar in my clan actually. The leader got angry at one of the cats for bringing outside kits into the clan, but he talked her into keeping them. Our clan was small back then and we need new, strong warriors. However, even though she allowed them to stay, she established a rule against relationships outside of the clan. I don’t think it will stand, I sure don’t intend to follow it”, he laughs.

Lady Fortune | seer | female | tags: Leafglow of Chaosclan (Kazin)
The golden eyes of the molly observe Leafglow studiously, as if trying to peer straight into her soul. “What a good girl you are.” There is a hint of admiration for Leafglow for her devotion to her family in Fortune’s voice and then she laughs at the molly’s question. “Dear! If you want to have a bright future you have to think about the present. Healthy body, healthy mind and all that. The smell of lavender is perfect for relaxing both. Sniff dried flowers of it every day and things will work out in your favour.”

Snowbell - 33 - She/here - warrior - Songbird, Whiskered away - “Time will tell I suppose,” Snowbell mewed, “but if there are enough that believe in what right, it will when our eventually. We just have to be willing to fight for what we believe in. There is strength in persistence.”she was quiet for a while, thinking of her own clan, the secrets she’d been tracking in them. Those where not hers to tell now, but she knew they were important. She wondered what the kinds of inter-workings Songbirds clan had. “Would you say that your clan has faced several issues as of late. That’s how I have felt since I joined, as is there is something Bigger coming, and it’s just a waiting game of seeing when everything falls apart. That is what I think I was lead to the clan for, but I don’t know if I’m meant to stop it, or help those recover from it. Starclan can be so fickle.” She paused, then shook her head, “Im sorry, I asked you a question, and then droned on. “

ChaosClan

cat name -- gender -- rank -- tagged: open

Leafglow allowed herself a smile, her body relaxing as she realized that Lady Fortune wasn't really a bad cat. She was having some doubts, wondering if there was something menacing about the seer. But maybe she was just... chaotic. And Leafglow lived in ChaosClan, so what was a bit of chaos anyway? "Thanks," Leafglow said brightly to Lady Fortune's compliment, even if she felt a bit unnerved by the way the she-cat was almost staring into her soul. "I've never really been good at thinking about the present though," Leafglow laughed, flicking an ear. "There's so much to think about for my future! I'd like to say I have a pretty positive outlook though, I think the future for me and my clan is bright," she chirped happily. "Sniffing lavender though... Not sure I would have thought of that as a way to relax, but then again I really don't spend much time around our healers. Do you do that every day?"

Burdockpaw -- tom -- apprentice -- tagged: open
With one last glance at the pair of warriors, Burdockpaw shuffled away, feeling a bit better about gatherings as a whole. Maybe it wasn't too late for him to find another cat, even a cat his age, to talk to. After all, it seemed that Chicorypaw was having success. Robinpatch had been kind to give him his attention, Burdockpaw thought, his resentment towards coming softening a little. Perhaps he'd have some nice stories of nice cats to tell his father.
