How Do You Organize Your Pets?

Oh man mine are a mess atm because I’ve been lazy about it. I’ve been thinking of redoing the groups I do have. I use to sort by species but I’m thinking if I reorganize I’ll sort like this:

Major Dreams
Minor Dreams
Store pets
PPS
Hoards
Yearly adopts (Not sorting by species, too lazy for that)
Yearly event pets (freebies)
Yearly event pets (Tokens)
Vault (pets I think will go up in rarity soonish or pets I just don’t want to deal with getting trades for (Eg usually high demand pets or pets I’m not quite ready to let go of)
Uncommon and below trade pets
Rare/very rare trade pets
List trade pets
Auction
Giveaway
Payment

i used to have mine organized with year & species but it became so many groups that i changed it to 4/5 years at a time, so instead of 2020 dogs amd 2021 dogs, its 2020-2024 dogs. and then i have lions & cats, that i just have all of them in one group, and seprately pets that i have duplicates of lol

All growing pets are ungrouped until they finish growing and then are sorted.

I didn't want tons of groups so mine are:

Growing pets
For trade (2 groups)
My favorite pets in specific groups (like a food group)
Pets by lineart (dogs, cats, etc)

That's it. I do enjoy marking which pets are rescues or gifts though.

I have my IMPORTANT groups: My mascot and nursery, And my NFT groups which... you get what that means. I have my general pet groups, then I have collections, Hoards, others (rare pets), and my giveaway folders! It's a bit confusing but basically I trade from all open groups, and any closed are NFT. I don't have trading groups, it feels unnecessary.

My general pet groups are pretty chaotic too... I have 2 horses in my dog group since the are dressed as wolves.

- Favorites: Just pets I like more than others.
- Absolute Favorites: Supposed to be dream pets and pets I will keep forever...But it's kinda grown HUGE haha.

- Hoards: Currently have a group for Dog Breeds and a Chess Dog Hoard.

Then I have yearly groups from 2008 to 2022, followed by a group for each yearly event between 2011 when they began and 2021

I go by breeds and what I'm most likely to trade and my favorites but thinking about going through and changing it

- Trading


I like it when everything's clean & simple, allows me to do things faster.
I also don't like the scroll bar so the shorter the list is, the better for me!

i have my groups in three sections. the first section is all my different trade groups (common, uncommon, rare, valuable) the second section is miscellaneous ones (keeping, newborns, dressups, unsorted) and the third is my different collections (cats, lions, store pets, ect.) but i can never decide on one system so i change it every few weeks :,]
