I've had and still take care of many animals! My parents' sometimes have me babysit them and there's chickens, a horse, fish, a cat and two dogs. Used to be a few more types though time claimed them, the salamander was the coolest.
Since I've been with my significant other it's been cats and, before they passed, a handful of mice! Had fish all along tho :p and semi-recently got myself two female guppies and a male one to boot. I don't farm my guppies, I just let them do what they do best (think hungry hungry hippo) but if I come home after work and some survived their birth (which always happens when I was gone) then I set them up in the baby box that hangs off my aquarium!
I also have two elderly danios and I'm babysitting two big goldfish until winter passes so they can return to my parent's pond and not be fish freezie pops.

I have a sassy lady named Frosty, though my grandma is currently taking care of her due to pet restrictions where I currently live. She was a feral kitten when I first found her, still nursing on her not feral mom, and it took about a month for her to not flinch when she even saw me but soon after that became a big ol lap hog lol. My landlord said she'd talk about pets soon, so hopefully she'll finally come home <3. Frosty will be 4 this spring and she's a classic lynx point siamese-tabby, with clear blue eyes and a light grey color scheme.
I also used to have a bun, but he sadly passed away recently. It was old age and I knew it was coming, I'm doing ok for those concerned. He was why Frosty warmed up as fast as she did as he was a big influence on her and her kittens. If a baby cat started crying he would come running, it was so cute. He was Uncle Kuro to them, nicknamed Fatty by me as he was a very plump and fluffy bun. He was a cross between a Lionhead and a Flemish giant and got to be a pretty decent size, with a black coat. As he got bigger he lost most his head floofiness, from his Lionhead side. He loved snuggle time and being brushed, though he hated to be picked up so I would have to use a harness and leash for his vet trips, teeth and vaccinations etc. He would even play fetch lol.
Sorry for the long post, needed to gush lol

I got myself three chickens, they go by, Cider (Buff Orpington), Happy Lightning AKA. Happy (White Leghorn), and Trixie (Hybred chicken of some sort). They all love to go outside of their pen and will wait long periods of time to do so, and often do silly things to get us to go and let them out. If it's snowing Happy and Trixie can handle it enough to go outside, but Cider thinks snow is, like, lava or something and stays in the coop. (Even though she has the most feathers) Those hens have caused many people to laugh, and continue to, to this very day.

Hello,
Hi guys! New here but this is the perfect post for me lol!! I own a Mini Australian Shepard mix

His name is Basil and he is about 6 now. I got him my Junior year of college. He is truly my best friend even if he is a brat LOL. He really love playing with all toys - especially frisbees.

Sure. Life can be sad but, it can also be happy, forgiving, and beautiful. I wish for you all to be able to wake up and be excited for the day ahead, enjoy the small things, and love what you do an who you are. The worlds hard enough already don't make yourself part of the problem. Just remember there is always a solution. Maybe it won't come today or tomorrow but it will come and we'll be okay.
Have a nice day!
