Hey hey! I'm Aspen, I use she/her pronouns ^^

I spend a lot of my time working nowadays, but I really enjoy the work that I do! Everyone there has been super kind and welcoming so it's been a really nice experience <33 On my days off I catch up on my sleep, while also trying to get in some quality time with my friends and family. Kolya and I recently went out to a convention with a couple of her own work buddies; I was a little bit nervous to meet so many new people, but again everyone was super sweet and made the whole experience enjoyable! I'm really happy to see that she's made some good friends where she works ^^

Other than that, I've been itching to put together a fun booth for this Kalon winter event! It's been so much fun to bounce ideas off of Kolya on how we want our booth to run. I can't wait to see all our hard work put into action! <33

Hi! My name is Zen, my pronouns are they/them, and I love all things nature! I have about 30 something plants and soon I hope to have a betta fish in a planted tank (more plants!). I love animals and I love taking long leisurely strolls through parks, listening to the birds and smelling fresh air. My favorite physical activity is biking, for it gives me the feeling that I am flying, and that is hard to beat. When I am not outside, I am inside playing video games (that are mostly adventure/sci-fi, so I am still mostly outside in those anyway, haha), like Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption, Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, and the Assassin’s Creed series. I am also a huge anime watcher, and my favorites right now include Gintama, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and like a couple hundred others, so pm me for my MAL if you’d like to chat about anything I also play D&D and love board games in general. Right now, I had to end a toxic friendship, which put me into a deep depressive episode. But after receiving therapy and medication, I am feeling so much more whole and happier as a person. I am also becoming more active in the CS community, which has been very fulfilling in of itself as well. I am so grateful for all my blessings and opportunities that have helped me get through this challenging time in my life. I am looking forward to growing and learning from my past and striving to be a better person in the future.

I love drawing, its my little escape from reality. Especially right now as I have a lot of things going on that are taking over my little brain lol.
Despite filling all my free time with working lately, I had time off to spend with my best friend Aspen and we went to a convention together along with some of my work friends. It was some of their first time going to a con so they really enjoyed themselves and I'm glad I got to experience that with them.

I go by dude round these parts (though captain works great too)! I really love playing dnd (seems like that’s a common thread around here), hanging out with my platonic partner, and snuggling with my rescue rat. Right now, I’m DM’ing my first campaign (it’s going very well and my partner, our forever DM, is really having a lot of fun with it ❤️). We’re on session 5 right now and I’m just about to break both his and his fictitious character’s heart (sorry Cyan and sorry Brian). Honestly, I’m liking DND more than writing in that it really brings me joy to watch people invest in your creativity, enjoy, and riff off of it. It makes me smile knowing some of these guys are thinking about my stuff on a daily basis. I think that I care about quite a lot, but I think at the end of the day, people and the great outdoors matter a lot to me. Right now I’m thinking about lab reports and worldbuilding!
