extra: Starstuck sticks behind Alphonse for the most part because he’s a scaredy cat, it’s kind of empty out on the outskirts…do people really live out here? It’s dusty!! Let’s get back as soon as we find something..among other things he tells to his colorful friend. Kicking dust and jumping every so often at a small thing passing by, even a few other scavenging wermz spook him. Not the best scavenging buddy.

Useless Crystal
L0G.01- This crystal is void of magic- it contained none to begin with, and is incapable of being infused with any. For some unknown reason, it seems to exclusively be crystals that have strange patches of unidentifiable material beneath their surface that have rendered useless in this way. The guild is trying to figure out why.

L0G.02- Marco took the crystal to his workshop to get a better look at whatever the strange lumpy patch in the crystal is. After chipping a bit of the crystal away and fiddling with it a bit, it looks like the patch of weird material isn't a "patch" at all- it's a tightly bound mass of lots of smaller things. Still no idea what those things are, or why they seem to run deep and all the way through the crystal, but its a start.


L0G.03- Thinking an old cup with a print depicting a strange creature consuming something resembling the crystal's insides witn the words "Jug Noodle" printed on it may be a clue to figuring out the crystal's strange insides, Marco decides to see if the crystal may actually be edible. It is not one of Marco's proudest moments.

After a tediously long amount of research, Marco throws in the towel. The crystals are everywhere, it feels pointless to try figure out the inner workings of what's probably just natural formations. It would be like trying to analyse the sand. The crystals have been there as long as the sand is, right?
