Elenwen gave a nod and a little smile crossed her face, she felt safe here, it was the only place she could really be happy. She had to wonder though why the mists had held the two, why it wouldn't let her in. The mists had been acting up a little lately, she would have to try and find out, but she would have to slip away to do it. She looked around and the others "Good, should we head into town, they might be slightly more welcoming then Noray." she said hopefully, maybe the people had fogotten her parents and who she was, they had forgotten what she had done to the town. There was always hoping.

Will smiled when the two popped out of the mists, he had heard stories, bad ones about people being trapped, never to return. When Elenwen mentioned the town though his thoughts took an even worse turn. "There is something I should tell you about the town before you go into it." he said nervously, clenching and unclenching his fists. He was frightened of the resent turn of events himself, he didn't know what a couple ill prephared outsiders would think "There have been... murders in the city, carcasses have been found; horrificly mauled and half eaten. It is a dire situation, every night another life is lost and no one seems able to leave. The mists won't let anyone back in and those who try to flee through the forest are eaten by the wolves. If there had been anyway to get a message out we would have but people just keep coming." he shook his head, he had been waking up to nightmares of this kills, about him being the killer and the next day they would hear of another death. He shook his head to try and rid it of the dreadful memories.

(not much has really happened yet. Marle (Ranger) and Ayra (elf) played by civilian_bait, Kijana (dragonkin) played by me, and Elenwen (gypsy elf) all met at a Taven aka Inn and got together. They then traveled through the mists (ask Elenwen about) and now have met up with a friend of Elenwen's named Will.)

Ayra's eyes go wide as Marle hugs her. She would never have expected the gesture from the man. She blushes at the embrace. Did he really care about her so much? Slightly embarrassed and lost in her thoughts about the ever confusing behaviors of Marle, Ayra only half listens to the others talk. Her attention perks at the mention of murders. "Murders, magic mists, and hungry wolves. This sounds like a fairy tale gone wrong. Why did we come here?" Ayra withdraws having realized that she spoke aloud.

Marle

The mixed emotions of the others allows Marle to focus once more. He'd have questions for Elenwen about the mists later but at the moment he was more concerned with the murders. If something had been traveling the streets killing then the town would be a pit of misery and anger. Marle considers his options. He can risk being overwhelmed in a city's misery to try to face it or he allow the sore to fester and the city to crumble. Some choice. "What do you know about the killer? And who should we talk to in regards to stopping it?"

Will shook his head "That's the problem, I have told you all anyone knows, I'm part of the guard." he was scared about how wild these murders had gotten, no one knew anything that was helpful, nothing except what was right in front of them. The only way to tell would be to see the man or woman in the act. "I could show you a couple of the recent crime sence but most of it has already been cleaned up after they prove useless." he said with a shrug, he hated not being able to help but he was telling them all he could, no one knew anything and that was the most frightening fact of all.

Elenwen glared at Ayra "We are here because this is my home. I was born and raised here, if it's in trouble I'm going to help it." The people of this town might hate her, they might have driven her out a couple times but she really cared about the place. She turned and through the forest, she knew where she was going, she wasn't going to be stopped from going inside because of some stupid murderer. If that man or creature came after her, he would be the one murdered. Her hair and sashes whipped about her in ther strange wind as she stalked off.

Kijana

It was weird getting hugged like this, thought Kijana as Marle rushed up and hugged him and Ayra. Eyes wide, Kijana looked at Ayra to find her still holding on to his arm. Gently he lifted her fingers off and slid his arm out of her grip. Dang she was strong, he thought with a smile, but at the mention of murders, his smiled disappeared. "Murders? You say. Any clue to what or who is doing it?" Kijana asked. He had witness murders as a youngling and knew all to way the pain that the families must be feeling. Although he hadn't lost anyone close, it had been so long since he was near another that he instantly wanted to help solve the murders and ease the pain of everyone.
