In all honesty, I don't remember much of what they said, I was a bit frazzled from the whole experience and was mostly paying attention to Ruby so I could comfort her and stop her moving too much. But yeah I'll definitely ask next time she's in.

We got our boy this morning! Everyone meet Dexter! ❤️❤️💕

Went to my first ever dog show today !
Met a schipperke breeder at the show and found out they live only a hop skip and jump from where I live, and while chatting they offered to let us meet their dogs eventually and were pretty enthusiastic when we mentioned we would like to get into showing, which is exciting to start making connections !!

Also met the most handsome poodle, his name is Joel !

I remember going to a dog show a really long time ago, it was so fun! I hope you get to meet the Schipperke family- that does sound really exciting!!
And Joel is gorgeous! I'm not sure that I've ever seen a poodle's fur groomed that way.

Oh my. She’s very pretty! Is she a border collie or Australian shepherd?

Here’s some more pictures of dexter which we may rename, since we found out he was badly mistreated and associates his name with that… does anyone have suggestions on changing his name since he’s almost a year?

I would probably rename him due to the name Dexter being misused before.

He’s actually my boyfriends doggo, so I’ll run those names by him. I joked a bit ago and suggested Caspar, Caspar the friendly dog. 😂

He like uncommon names though, not your average buddy, etc.

@Aura. Wow, what a mix! Poor bub, though. Depending on how uncommon he likes his names, I think Augie / Augustus, Jax, or Gadget could be cute? Maybe Cricket? I'm not really sure how common Pepper is but that could be cute too :0
