- there is no dark forest; instead, your spirit is forced into a purgatory, where the crows and ravens will come for you. your only chance of survival in this state is to either hide, repent for your sins, or possess a living cat - otherwise, your spirit will be torn apart by the corvids you once worshiped.
- cats with pure white fur are an omen of misfortune and are not to be trusted.
- cats of prophecies or of other utmost importance are blessed to walk amongst the crows and ravens without fear. if a cat walks confidently in the middle of a flock and does not startle the birds, they are treated as messiahs or prophets.
- killing a crow or raven is an act of treason and is viewed as a hex upon the clan.
overview a rather dangerous clan with an origin shrouded in mystery, corvidclan seems to both worship and fear the ravens and crows that populate their territory. corvidclan cats tend to keep to themselves, oftentimes rejecting outsiders and those who appear vastly different from them. they fear change; anything outside of the norm for them is to be treated with extra caution.
common beliefs
common colors/lengths all corvidclan cats have dark fur and bright eyes; it is uncommon, but a corvidclan cat may also have a small amount of white on them. their coat lengths vary from cat to cat.
reputation corvidclan cats are often mistrusted by other clans due to their wary natures and odd beliefs. other clans find corvidclan cats cursed, mainly due to their dark fur and rejection of the color white.
territory corvidclan resides in an old, abandoned train tunnel. the tracks are warped and broken from years of abuse from the elements, and while the tunnel itself is blocked off by wooden planks, the cats can easily slip in and out as they please. the train tunnel itself opens up out in a rocky, slightly-forested cliffside, where the tracks follow a narrow path winding up the side of a mountain. there are trees and foliage covering the top of the tunnel, and the tunnel itself trails back a couple thousand feet to another opening. it appears that the tunnel was initially built to serve as an easy and safe transition to the cliffside, but after the train tracks were destroyed, the train stopped coming, and the trail was all but abandoned.
