I use procreate, using these brushes! The brushes are free and absolutely epic- but medibang can also be good for pixel art if you're looking for a free program! Medibang can turn off anti-aliasing super easily (which when you're working on smaller canvases basically turns the brushes into ones that can be used for pixel art), I used to use it for pixel art before I swtiched to using procreate! Hope this is helpful lolol :"]

I'm on PC, i use SAI and select inside the lines on a lower layer to keep everything clean.

Tell me a bit about this werm!
I wanted to experiment so I went with bright, colorful colors. This werm was based on juices and soda, overall really sweet drinks, their pattern looks kinda like sun, that wasn't planned but I really like how it turned out :D
Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
I always wanted to help working on closed species, but I was really scared to apply as an artist ;w;
Making a litters and bringing bright, friendly wermz for people to love is something that I really look forward to do!

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
I've always loved community run art projects and I've found myself missing being apart of them.
I always had the most fun when collaborating with others, and haven't been able to do that for
a few years. The community around Wermz seems super friendly and open and I would love to
nurture that and create some designs y'all will love!

This dessert werm has embodied a delicious Neapolitan
Mousse with strawberry compote!

This little werm has adapted to a more hostile environment,
producing poisonous breath vapors to keep dangers away.

This aquatic werm seems to have embodied the ability to take
what little water it can find with it- keeping it moist in the
harsh and dry environments. Because of this, it always looks
shiny and dripping with water!

This little dragon werm seems more fluffy than scaley!
They're coat seems somewhat alien, could it be from
space? Whatever the case, it seems to enjoy
collecting shiny trinkets.

Tell me a bit about this werm!
A werm with a worm tail/friend! Because, why not? I thought it would be very cute and wholesome and spent some time debating the type of "worm" I wanted to give them but i'm pretty happy with the turnout <3 I think they look super cute!

Inspired by an arctic fox, with some of my favorite shapes on the main coat. They have fur tufts that branch off the top of their head like wings, or ears, and a mane comes out of that fur and into the vibrant colors down their back. They have sort of a party/tinsel fur effect to their tail, with darker flecks of the main color intertwined into each different section. They hold a bit of a shy/solemn demeanor despite their happy, vibrant tail ^.^

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
I've tried to hold off from becoming artists for other species because i'm in two at the moment and don't want to spread myself too thin- but these guys really motivate me, and I love the unique pixel lineart style you have going on <3 It definitely has a technique to it and it was really cool to try to match c: i'd love to be able to create adopts for these lil guys all the time,
I love their cute lil pose and the concept! It would be really cool to be more involved. The break from the normal pixel style is really refreshing and fun to practice.

Tell me a bit about this werm!

This sockeye salmon here, isn't your typical fish.. or werm. Sam is quite scared of water but brave on land, taking on the duties of a lightkeeper for a lighthouse. Guiding any boats or water wermz in the dark, and back to land.
Though in his past time he can be found collecting seaweed, shells, and trinkets off the side of the beaches. The rope and bell being one of the few trinkets he found from old ship wrecks in the past, and the seaweed wrapped along his arm are his "handcrafted bracelets".
A staff with a lantern to help him see during nighttime walks on the beach.
Little bubbles can be seen every time this werm breathes on land.

Dino Dirt Cup

Being sweet isn't easy, especially when your tails seem to have a mind of their own.
This triceratops werm sits and waits for a chance to bite into that delicious berry while their tails are distracted.
Dino Dirt cup here has a craving for more natural sweets, like fruits, and certain plants rather than candy.
That craving is never fulfilled or satisfied, making them the very hungry dino werm.

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
These guys are so cute, they look, and are fun to edit! Plus I adore little pixel adopts, I'm currently an artist for two other pixel species actually, and I adore making adoptables for the community. Or even customs for others!
I also figured it'd be fun to branch off and try some different species to design, along with larger lines.

Tell me a bit about this werm!
This werm is a lil devil! They're a bit of a grump,
but harmless none-the-less.
The line edits I made are a bit more fluff/hair on the head,
eyes look a bit angrier, tongue out, horns, devil wings, a devil
tail, and finally a lil spiked collar!

This werm is inspired by a strawberry poptart!
I've named them Poptar. They have no line edits,
and are covered head-to-toe in sprinkles and icing!
They're also (ironically enough,) very sweet! The image
one the side is the inspiration, and simply a png of poptarts!

This lil werm is inspired by the gummies
currency wermz use! I thought it would be an
adorable idea, so I tried it out! I'm quite proud of
how it came out. The gummy on the side is ofc, the
official image of how gummies look, for comparison. I
did not draw it (ofc)

This is a princess werm! A bit prouder of it line-edit
wise. I added hair, a tiara, and some jewelry, as well as
a little ribbon around the tail with a tail edit! She's not
a damsel in distress or anything, but she certainly is a
princess none-the-less!

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
As anyone else would- I think these guys are adorable and an absolute joy! I don't tend to have much to do most days, so I should have plenty of time to focus on making new wermz for everyone to enjoy. I believe it would be fun, not to mention great practice so I can get even better at pixel art over time! I know I may not be the best, but I like to think I'm alright at it!
I've also been wanting to get involved with pixel adoptables like this in a general sense, and this species is the one I tend to be most active in, so I figure it was the best option for me to apply to! I hope you like these lil guys, whether I end up being accepted into the team or not. Everyone on the team does an amazing job and is super sweet. I'm thankful for the opportunity! <3
