I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but this was the artis's staff dog from last year:

That doesn't mean it's the same artist as the line art though.

We were told that we would not get snakes though because there really wouldn't be much room for variations or edits. So maybe a skink or another type of lizard that can easily be edited to be snakes? I don't know I think there's a lot that can be done with some snake line art.

My Mardi Gras box was 9 eggs and a cat. lol I wonder how many outcomes the eggs will turn into.

I also think people are banking on them being in high demand, so are trying to get as many as possible.

Or hoping they'll be something cute, like beardies or platypi. <3

I really don't care about the demand.
IF they would turn out to be hognses, I would need to get one full page of them (aka 20) just as I love them xD
(And hoping we get an outcome I love xD)

Don't think they would start a new lineart right with a rare outcome, so I hope they are at highest UC 🤔)

Considering that we do occasionally see alternate "similar" pets come out of a single lineart (chicken lineart being used for swans, macaw lineart being used for lovebirds, etc.), I wouldn't be surprised if these eggs came to represent a few possible reptiles!
That being said, I think snakes would be pretty cute c:

Oh, for sure! Didn't mean to say that was the case for everyone, or even most people. I'm just cynical, haha. And traumatized from trying to get a gold gacha dog, haha.
