They do look like snakes eggs… I cannot wait to see how they turn out!

I feel the same way. I also know turtles eggs are a bit more round so I'm really thinking they are snake/lizards (coming from someone who has worked with reptiles in great capacity)

tbf, hammies are pretty small and we've gotten some pretty stellar designs out of those. I'm sure they'll be awesome whatever they end up being.

CS has always been rather accurate, so these new eggs must be lizard or snake eggs -- they cannot be bird, turtle, or crocodilian eggs, because they are not the right shape - they're just a bit too long for crocodilians, and most turtle eggs are round, or only very slightly oval. Same with monotreme eggs. Bird eggs are smaller at one end.

I'm in the "I hope they are snakes" category. ^_^

I really would love some Danger Noodles (Especially Hognoses - they are so dramatic and have the really cute nose)
But seeing as we get them as Mardi-Gras pets made me think which reptiles would somehow fit carneval and my first thought where Geckos (maybe Fattailed Geckos?) As some can change their colour can, which could be used for "costumes" of a mardi-gras ?
Maybe I'm just overthinking (and to tired to properly describe my thought process)
But as many Mardi-Gras Outfits sport some feathers, it could still be a bird, though the elongated egg seems more reptile to me
