History: Cicadasong was not clan born. He never knew his parents since he was taken from his mother once weaned. He was placed in what twoleg's call a “cat cafe”. There were cats of all shapes and sizes in the bistro. His closest friend was another tom with no fur at all!

Cicadasong's life was not unpleasant, but he yearned for peace. Often twolegs would chase him around the cafe when he would not come to their lap. A scuffle with a patron allowed Cicadasong the chance to bolt out the door. Fear drove him further through the streets until he came to rural countryside.

At a mere 5 moons he made it to Blossomclan territory unknowingly. Thankfully he would be welcomed in and trained despite being a moon older than most apprentices. Cicadasong has always been large in size, even if it was all fluff, and assigned a Fighter.

The tom was obedient to his mentor, but he was uncomfortable in his training. Truly he didn't wish to cause injury to another, not unless the circumstances were dire. He had to battle an internal struggle to make it through his apprentice days and graduate to a fully fledged Fighter. There is no denying Cicadasong is talented at sparring, but he tries to avoid a battle at all costs much to the annoyance of his clan members.

As a Mentor: Cicadasong is reluctant to take on apprentices. When he must he tries to rush through training, hoping no clan cats will notice. His training sessions always end with a speech of when it is or isn't the time to fight. It's no surprise to any cat that the answer is usually peace according to the tom.

Appearance: She is a silver spotted tabby with black striping. Her eyes are a brilliant blue with a nose that is pale pink. The bob tail is natural.

History: Lotuspaw was the only kit born from the union of the two clan cats Maplewish and Reedsight. It was not obvious to herself, being only a kit, but her parents did not meld well as assigned mates. Since her parents loathed spending time together—Lotuspaw spent most of her kithood with her mom or dad separately.

Her mother was lithe and graceful and an experienced Hunter. When she was old enough Lotuspaw enjoyed spending time with Maplewish out in clan territory. She was taught how to remain still as a stone so that her mother could catch prey.

Her father was a large lynx-point tabby tom. He was rough around the edges compared to her mother, but Lotuspaw loved how sometimes he would let her ride between his shoulders. Time was passed waiting on the sidelines of her father's sparring sessions.

At birth Lotuspaw was lean and lithe, therefore she was destined to following the pawsteps of her mother in the Hunting rank. Reedsight tried to argue that her fur was too damp upon birth to see her true size, but to no avail.

As an Apprentice: Lotuspaw had no choice in the matter but to become a Hunter apprentice. At least she had fond memories of her mother stalking under the cherry blossom trees. A mentor will find Lotuspaw agreeable, enthusiastic about training if you make it a competition, and eager to try new tasks. However, she can also be lazy if training is repetitive. It's also not unusual for the she-cat to try and find an easy way to get through an assignment no matter how many times she is told “there are no shortcuts.”
