The calico cat wandered around the territory, now that leafbare was nearly over, she would be able to gather herbs she had since ran out of. She rather enjoyed the peaceful trips from the camp in search of seeds and plants to take care of her clan. She loved them all very much, but she can admit at times it felt nice to return to the quiet wilderness. She shook, small droplets of water spraying from her pelt. That is one thing she wouldn't miss about leafbare.

A cold breeze still hung in the air despite the snow already beginning to melt. Finchflight stretched and padded towards the middle of the camp. Looking around he surveyed the bustling clan, there always seemed to be something going on regardless how early it may be. He decided the weather seemed to be just well enough for prey to be out and about, thinking that his apprentice might appreciate a hunting patrol as soon as he could find them.

indentation Stepping out of his den, the silvery-white tom let his eyes wander over his clan. Eyeing Vixenkit as they left the nursery, the tom sighed, fondly remembering when his own kits were that small. Shaking his head the tom resumed his search for his deputy. Yarrowstar was ashamed to admit that he'd woken up later than usual today, but would rectify that quite easily. In his short tenure as clan leader, the tom - much like as his days as deputy - was quite active in the clan, going on patrols, and offering assistance to nursery queens or elders. Giving his fur a shake, the pale tom stepped into the slowly melting snow and started towards the center of camp to get a better vantage point to look for Brackenleap.

indentation By the time Redblossom awoke, she only had one little body curled up by her belly. Sighing as she slowly opened her dark blue eyes, she huffed in exasperation as she saw Vixenkit was gone. Her exasperation became quite fond as she took note of the thrush by her paws. That kit. Shaking her head, the queen gave her other kit a quick lick, before starting to de-feather the thrush so she could eat.

indentation They hated waking up early in the morning, but Vixenkit also hated not being able to say good morning to the clan's apprentices before they left for training. So like always the near apprentice awoke just after dawn and sped out of the nursery, not even waking their mother or sister. The ginger feline had paused and raced over to the prey-pile before picking out a thrush. Pale eyes twinkled merrily as they left the meal at their mothers sleeping paws. They had stayed with their mother and sister for a short time soaking in their warmth, before leaving the nursery once more only a few moments ago. Now Vixenkit would get to talk to their soon-to-be den-mates, hopefully.

Wolfshade walked out of the warrior den and stretched near the entrance purring slightly as she soaked up the sun. Wolfshade then began to make her way to the center of camp by the fresh-kill pile to get something to share with her brother. As she was walking she noticed Yarrowstar "Good Morning Yarrowstar" Wolfshade mewed giving him a respectful nod.

Ravenpaw blearily opened his amber eyes before shivering slightly. He let out an annoyed sigh more than ready for leafbare to end and new leaf to begin. Ravenpaw was sick and tired of snow as it made his black coat stick out, which made hunting an absolute pain. Not to mention his shorter coat wasn't ideal for the cold weather; Ravenpaw silently bemoaned the fact he didn't get a longer, fluffier coat like his sister. Grumpily Ravenpaw got up and began grooming himself hoping to get moving quickly so he could warm up.

Cloverpaw stepped outside the Medicine Den, promptly setting her paws in a large puddle. She sighed and stepped out of it, shaking each of her paws in turn. Before she sat, she batted a couple soggy leaves away. Sitting to the side of the Medicine Den, she began to groom herself, starting with her paws first. She enjoyed the snow during leafbare, it was just when the snow melted that she hated it.

Sunflicker shuddered awake. There had been an annoying, constant drip of water onto his back. His long fur had made the drip slightly less than it would have been if he had short hair, but it was still freezing. He got up stiffly and stretched, immediately turning to groom the wet spot on his back. He didn't even bother to groom the rest of his body, there could be time to do that later. He wandered out of the Warriors' Den and trotted to the Fresh-Kill pile, keeping the tip of his tail up out of the many puddles. He grabbed a mouse and trotted to his usual spot, near the entrance to camp. Settling himself down, he began wolfing it down. As soon as Lavenderpaw woke up, he would most likely take her hunting.

Flicking his plumy tail the large dark golden and white tabby pushed slowly into camp with the few scrawny mice he had managed to collect in the early morning, depositing his catch Lightwhisker scanned the camp for his apprentice Petalpaw, noticing that she wasnt up and about yet the tom narrowed his brown orbs as he marched over to the apprentices den but stopped as he noticed Vixenkit scuttle towards the apprentices, chuckling at the young kit he deciding to give Petalpaw some time with her future denmate so Lightwhisker turned his attention back to his other clanmates; hoping to find someone to chat with for a few minutes.

Stifling a yawn the dark red tabby sat up in her nest, fur ruffled and sticking up in places; reaching her paws forward the young warrior stretched, not caring who she poked or proded in the process. Satisfied with the stretch Applebite pushed herself out of the warriors den, her face scrunching at the sudden change in temperature "great Starclan its cold this morning" she grumbled, shaking out her already messy pelt the warrior approached the fresh-kill pile; not seeing much in there she turned away, ears flattening as she did so; huffing she looked around for Brackenleap in hopes of joining a patrol.

Shifting slightly in his nest Coalpaw gazed around the warm den with half-lidded eyes, contemplating whether he should get up or not; deciding he didnt want to incur his mentor's wrath the black and white tom rose slowlt to his paws, stretching as he did so. Once done he turned his green gaze on the calico she-cat beside him, reaching forward he proceeded to jab her side, startling her awake and earning a glare from his sister "its time to get up Petalpaw, we dont want Wolfshade and Lightwhisker to barge in here" Coalpaw murmured before making his way out of the apprentices den and into camp, blinking a few times as his eyes adjusted to the sudden change in lighting; scanning the camp with clear green eyes Coalpaw spotted his mentor as she chatted with Yarrowstar, deciding to wait to approach her, he settled into a sitting position and began to groom his pelt.

The calico she-cat huffed as she glared after her brother as he left the den, she remained in her position for a few moment before pushing herself into a sitting position; grumbling under her breath as she did so. Not bothering to groom her pelt she looked around the den she shared with the other apprentices and spotted one of her den-mates sitting up in his nest. "Morning Ravenpaw, sleep well last night?" Petalpaw questioned as she padded over to the young tom, careful not to step on Lavenderpaw or Ghostpaw in the process, without waiting for a response back she continued "I hope Lightwhisker takes me to do some fighting training, I gotta work on my skills if im to be leader someday" she said, puffing out her chest.

A soft breeze rolled through camp as a lean, pale brown and white tabby pushed herself from one of the many dens that resided in a small camp, not bothered by the sudden cold breeze she scanned the clearing with bright green eyes; spotting her leader Yarrowstar she approached the tom "good morning Yarrowstar, Wolfshade" Brackenleap greeted warmly as she dipped her head "a fine morning dont you think?" she questioned, a purr rumbling in her throat.

a low growl sounded from the corner of the warriors den as a large gray and white tabby sat in his nest, yellow eyes narrowed as the sound of chatter drifted into the den he shared with his clanmates *why does everyone have to be loud in the morning* he thought to himself. Rising stifly to his white paws the large tabby made his way from the warriors den, fluffy his thick pelt against the cold as the sudden change in temperature seeped through his pelt; another growl left Splashtooth as his paw landed in a muddy puddle of snow and dirt "are you kidding me right now?" he huffed as he began to shake the water from his paw.

curling deeper into a nest tucked under some bushes a small white and ginger tabby tom watched as his sister twitched beside him, worried she was having a nightmare he quickly shook her awake, earning a groan from the she-cat "are you okay Sunny? were you having a nightmare?" Chitter questioned softly as he looked her over with worried brown eyes.

Sighing softly Sunny turned her head, tears threatening to fall from her amber eyes "no, no nightmare" she responded vefore pushing herself into a sitting position "I was just dreaming about mother" she added before falling quiet, shaking her white and orange tabby pelt she turned her gaze to Chitter "well, shall we find some breakfast?" she questioned, earning a smile from the tom as he quickly rose to his paws.

Leaftail plucked several stems of yarrow that she had managed to sniff out. They were unfortunate enough to not have found much growing yet. She only hoped that it would grow sooner, she hated the anxiety that came with not having the herbs she needed. She walked back into camp, everyone started to stir. She spotted her apprentice and quickly made their way over to her. "Good morning Cloverpaw, would you mind checking for herbs next time you leave the camp? I might've missed some on my route today."

Finchflight saw Lightwhisker coming into the camp, dropping off his freshkill. He groomed himself making sure to look as neat as possible. He made his way over to the other tom, making sure to stand tall. "Hi Lightwhisker, how was hunting?" The brown tom asked honestly as he looked at the older tom.

indentation A purr rumbled in his throat as Wolfshade appeared out of the corner of his eye, greeting him. "Good morning, to you as well Wolfshade." He murmured softly, lips twitching up into a soft smile. His gaze flickered to his deputy as the she-cat came into view, "Ah, just the cat I was looking for, good morning to you as well, Brackenleap." He meowed, chuckling before his gaze turned serious. "I was wondering if you'd sent out any patrols yet? I thought I might take one out, while nothing too drastic is happening." The tom questioned, glancing at Wolfshade and giving the younger she-cat a fond look.

indentation Feather in a pile the russet molly started to eat, deciding to save a good portion for her kits to eat if they were hungry. Slowly the russet cat ate, taking small bites and chewing slowly saving her meal. About a third of the way threw her meal the she-cat sighed wanting to sunn herself. Carefully getting to her paws to let her sleeping daughter rest, the molly picked up the rest of her meal and started to head outside. Flinching back as the morning light blinded her momentarily, the she-cat shook her head and headed to a nice sunny part of camp to finish her meal.

indentation Giving a wordless mew, the young feline stuck their head into the entrance to the apprentice's den. Coalpaw had already left, but Petalpaw still seemed to be inside, but they didn't know where the others were. Mostly because once they caught sight of the pretty calico the ginger cat had frozen. Purring loudly the kit opened their jaws. "Petalpaw! Good morning," they mewed, grinning widely as they gave a little hop of excitement. "How are you this morning? Did you sleep well? Can you teach me a battle move? Or maybe help me with my hunter's crouch?" They queried, tilting their head slightly to the right.
