Winter is here! During the winter, your villagers have the highest failure rate when looking for food and the odds of birth complications are at their peak. Additionally, villagers are more prone to illnesses and might die from even a mild cold if not taken care of properly.

lettuce. somehow, they have evolved to eat fruits and vegetables. no one knows how, but they do. the creatures have both natural and fantasy colors. they pray to their afterlife, called the fangs of mercy. such a colony who survived in harsh conditions who learned to live with whatever life threw at them must be a sophisticated and strong colony, correct? actually, the colony within the wooded gardens is entirely cats. they have learned to communicate with other species but are strictly a cat colony. they have learned to use tools to fend off against predators, namely tentacled horrors. domestic cats are usually scouts, hunters, and gatherers, while big cat species are usually warriors. but if a tiny, tiny housecat wants to become a warrior thats fine. sometimes there are cat hybrids. you ever see a caracal and a sphynx cat hybrid? you probably will. they will actually throw temper tantrums if someone suggests letting in non-cats. guess they still think they are the best from ancient egyptian time huh
