Underrated Animals

Man so many... african civets, binturongs, eels (ribbon eels specifically), wildebeests, spider monkeys, trilobite beetles, boars, vultures. Maybe its just because these are my favorite animals and i can never get enough of learning about them but still I barely see people mention them at all

I think Hyena are underrated.
They are really amazing, they have strong family bonds and the strongest bite force. They are really awesome and have super adorable faces. :3

Also maybe fish...although it probably only counts if you are not a fish enthusiast. Fish often don't get a lot of respect, and are often treated pretty bad by pet stores/people who buy them with little information. They are probably one of, if not the most, abused animal.
They are actually really smart creatures and can even learn to recognize their human. Some can even learn tricks.

Ahh aardwolves are best hyenas!! <33 they're aard-orable. My favorite animal.

Also biturongs and okapis. Or maybe bilbies.. And sugar gliders are just the cutest animal on the planet in my opinion.

Donkeys are so underrated imo </3 they are like big hooved dogs, and are some of the sweetest things I’ve ever met!

lemurs (if non-pet, exotic animals are allowed). vv cute + there's a subspecies of lemur that's called the Black and White Ruffed Lemur, which is (physically) the world's largest pollinator !!

Sponges/porifera! I don't know anywhere near as much as I'd love to know about em. Specifically the harp sponge & ping-pong tree sponge ^__^ great character design inspiration imo

snakes, pigeons, cows, chickens, and pretty much every kind of insect except mosquitoes. noone likes mosquitoes and for a good reason XD!!!
