I've had this same username across the internet since like... 2011. I was a hardcore Inuyasha fan and Shippo was always my favorite character haha!

I like short, punchy usernames - and the phrase "staccato spurts" from Kevin Devine's song "Another Bag of Bones" is an earworm of mine... so staccato. (Also the word cat is snuck in there, and i love cats, so win-win).
