Adrian looked to him and said, “Well whenever that time comes, I’m sure everyone will miss ya. I’ll miss you and I’m sure Akirra will to. I appreciate you following through though. I mean that is very thoughtful of you.” He smiled warmly and then wasn’t sure if he should take his hand or not. Would it be awkward if he did or would it not be awkward if he did end up doing it. He decided to leap for it and took his outstretched hand. He smiled and said, “I hope it’s something good cause I’m starving.”

Chase blinked his eyes and heard his name. He looked to see both Kiia and Gabe and he walked over to them. The young children had grown so much and it made his heart sore. He wanted them to stay little forever, but they were growing older now and getting taller. Even young Gabe on his journey with them had gained some weight. The young kid looked a lot healthier now than he had ever been. He smiled and walked over saying, “Good afternoon you two. I see your looking as cheerful as ever.”

Gabriel looked over to Kiia and nodded his agreement. He walked out and called out to Chase, “Chase!” He saw him come over and he giggled in excitement. Luka looked to her with his eyes soft and said, “I know and trust me when I say this, but Law will protect him at all costs. Buck will never be forgotten here and it’s ok to feel mad about it, but in the end we have to understand that Buck went where his heart wanted to go. It may be hard to let go of him, but you’ll always have those memories that you made with him.” He Heard Ace’s announcement and he looked over briefly before saying, “Be truthful to you I haven’t been the same since that fight in Wano. Every day I can’t stop thinking about it and I know it has been two years since that fight, but it haunts me what happened there. We lost a member of our crew to that fight. That could have been me, but today in this moment right now,” he paused to cup a hand underneath her cheek and his eyes full of warmth, “I’m am good.”

Kirsten was about to answer and saw a panicked Lucian came running up. She growled under her breath and rolled her eyes in annoyance. That man was always getting in the way of everything. They were just discussing an important matter. It’s like he can’t physically do anything without Coby. She knew they were married now, but come on he needs to learn to not have a crutch on Coby and be an actual man. She looked around and sighed with a hint of a thought of glaring at Lucian in the back of her mind. She pushed that thought away and tapped her foot with annoyance careful for it not to make noise with it.

A warm chuckle rumbled from deep within Buck’s chest. He wouldn’t argue, his captain’s late night shuffling worried him, sure, and no one moves like an elderly person without their cane to ‘stay quiet’ but he’d elicited some humor from the man and especially right now that’s an awful great achievement. Buck took a seat beside Law as his other crewmates began filing in for lunch, he figured the captain could use the buffer Buck’s bulky body offered from his far more energetic crewmates. “Anything for you Captain, you deserve nothing but the best.”

Law leaned against his furry friend. Okay, usually Bepo was his pillow, and that was definitely nice. Polar bear fur was pretty coarse though, and Buck's was much softer. Very nice. "Hope you don’t mind." Regardless of whether the Mink minded or not, Law was not getting off though. He doubted it’d be a problem. Buck seemed to pamper him to the point that sometimes the man worried it was unhealthy.

Buck was unable to suppress the way his tail thumped softly against his chair at the feeling of Law leaning against his side. He could hardly control the thing around Law these days, it was weird, he remembered a time when it lived most days tucked tensely between his legs. The mink shifted slightly to make Law more comfortable, wrapping an arm loosely around his waist. The sensation was nice, Law felt warm and made Buck's chest do weird little cozy flips, he didn't know what they meant, but he liked it. Buck had seen Law lean on Bepo, who wouldn't want to lean on the fluffy round bear, but the mink had yet to be on the receiving end- from Law at least, Bepo was a different story, the other mink would flop on Buck whenever he got tired. "Of course not, it's nice," Buck replied softly, though he knew his tail was probably a dead giveaway to how much he was enjoying the contact, it didn't matter how hard he concentrated, Buck just couldn't get the damn thing under control.

Law chuckled. "I can tell. Your tail's going a mile a minute. You’re more sensitive than you let on, huh? Didn’t give you enough love back with your own crew?" He guessed. He tilted his head to look up at his furry friend. "Well, I’m sure by now you’ve figured out that’s not going to be an issue here." Very rarely did Law let the more sensitive, maybe even NEEDY side of him show, but Buck knew. Law had never been great at hiding it, and nowadays, what was the point? It wasn’t like Buck couldn’t see through his public façade.

Law's little chuckle was like music to his ears, and although Buck was ashamed that his tail was such a dead giveaway the thing sped up tenfold in response to the noise anyway. "I'm just really happy to be back with you captain," Buck said, not that it wasn't obvious. There really was nowhere he'd rather be, no one he'd rather be with, than Law, and said man indulging in Buck's physically affectionate mink tendencies only made the man all the more blissful. Buck's heart sped up when Law tilted his head to meet the mink's gaze, his eyes softened and he gently rubbed Law's back in response. "Thank you..." Buck murmured affectionately, ignoring or straight up not noticing Shachi's teasing poke to his ribs from the other side.

"For what? You don’t owe me anything." Law knew Buck might not see it that way, but he firmly believed it. He’d never done anything to put the Mink in his debt. Buck was his friend. Everything he did for Buck was done out of genuine care, not greed or selfishness or for the sake of some elaborate plan to overthrow a government. Law didn’t have many real friends, the crew was the closest he got. But Buck was a whole other story.

Coby was torn. Obviously it was awkward to have to be abruptly yanked from one conversation and into another, but on the other hand, Lucian wouldn’t panic like this if something serious wasn’t going on. As long as it’s not Georgia, it’ll be okay. She’s with Ellena though, so I’m not too worried. Calm. I’m an Admiral, I can’t lose my composure anymore. Coby had learned to guard his emotions more carefully recently, but it wasn’t easy. He briefly glanced at Kirsten, guilt flickering across his face. "I promise I’m not going anywhere until we’ve settled details," he promised.

You know, before Draco showed up, I had considered Buck one of my few close friends. Now he’s just…disappeared off into the blue. I know the dumb old wolf can take care of himself, and worst case scenario, he has a former Warlord with him, but it doesn’t mean I don’t worry about him." She slowly exhaled, raising her gaze to meet her boyfriend's. "I know. Draco was watching my back, and you know I’d never let anything happen to you, right?"

Buck owed him everything, he wanted to point out, Law had saved his life, but he knew he would get the speech again if he vocalized these thoughts. "I'm so lucky to have someone as wonderful as you. Thank you for being in my life Traffy... Thank you, for being you..." Buck murmured instead, his deep voice oozed with warm adoration and his eyes were half-lidded from content. Nothing could beat the moments like these, where he was right there with Law and he knew this wonderful man who very much owned his heart was safe and secure in Buck's very own arms.

She found Melody there, and peered at Akirra. "Oh, he really doesn't look good...I think it's just a cold and fever. Melody, I'm going to need you to step out so I can check though. Do...would you or Kass go get the cold and fever reducer medicine from the medical cabin? That's probably all I'm going to need to give him," she said, immediately in doctor mode.

The sweet and gentle but stubborn and hard headed at times woman smiled. She watched her lovely little baby granddaughter playing. Kodi, her black and white pup, rested against her. True, he was three, but she'd always refer to him as pup. The pretty woman with gray eyes and Greek skin tone patted him a couple times. Her straight black hair, just past the shoulders, was pulled back. It was only partly so, and she'd actually done Georgia's hair. She was also wearing a pink blouse and dark red skirt today.

The playful family loving but loud and sometimes fussy one giggled and batted at a toy. She grabbed said toy, starting to chew on it. Not that she could really speak yet, or not much. The creamy skinned pink and black haired one would pronounce it gamma. Deep blue-gray eyes sparkled, hair past the shoulders pulled back partly with a ribbon.
