course, there is also an abundance of flowers blooming⠀
at all times. most intriguing of all, are the huge harmless
towering mushrooms in all shapes and sizes. under the⠀⠀
enourmous canopy of vibrant green leaves and mushrooms
are all the animals living alongside the cats. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

the most common prey here are mice, songbirds, frogs,⠀
rabbits, squirrels, and hares. since the clan is new to the
forest, they'll be fasting for three moons before hunting.⠀

WEATHER !!

LEAF-FALL || The temperature has begun to drop, and the days grow shorter and shorter. With the disappearance of the unbearable heat, predators are more commonly slinking along the outskirts of the territory. Alongside the growing dangers that come with the cold weather, kittings are beginning to get harder. Clans should stock up on prey and herbs for the coming dangerous moons, as this will be their last chance until after the next season has passed.

season: leaf-fall / autumn
as summer gives way to colder weather, your clans can expect to see a decrease in prey and an increase
in danger. predators may become more desperate during this time. while the likelihood of dehydration
goes down, cats who aren't careful on patrols might face more serious risks. inside the camp, medicine
cats will find less herbs and kittings will become more difficult. cats who go out on too many patrols
will also face possible illnesses, as well.

general notes:
• i recommend noting if there are any cats that you'd prefer be skipped over in the case of death rolls/injuries

TUNDRACLAN ▬ selkirks

hunting results
• mr. j and the rest of his patrol shout out their words of encouragement to juliet as the young warrior chases after a hare. spurred on by her clanmates' shouts, she catches it, adding x1 hare alongside x1 tundra vole that charblaze caught earlier in the patrol. however, before the group can set out again to find more prey, anacondapath raises the alarm just as a rogue jumps out of hiding and tackles ratwhisker. the rogues attack quickly, leaving the clan cats dazed and confused when, just as quickly as they appeared, the rogues disappear again. it takes the patrol a moment to gather themselves before mr. j realizes that the rogues stole x1 tundra vole.
• gingerbreadswirl's patrol, thankfully, has more luck finding prey than mr. j's patrol did, as the group gathers around their catch of x1 least weasel, x2 common ravens, and x1 lemming before lionwhisper returns with x1 stoat in his jaws. however, the scent of prey must have attracted a predator, as fox scent alerts the patrol of the beast a moment before it snarls and lunges at dunestep. unfortunately, dunestep wasn't fast enough to dodge the assault, and the fox bites down on his shoulder. thankfully, however, the rest of the patrol gather together against the fox and drive it away, with gingerbreadswirl at the head. by the time they return to camp, however, dunestep walks with a heavy limp and the medicine cats determine that dunestep has an infection from the bite. he will need x1 golden rod, x1 thyme, and x1 moon of rest. additionally, during the attack, gingerbreadswirl was scratched, and the minor wound also carries an infection, and gingerbreadswirl will need x1 moon of rest.
• after bidding cockroachstar a nice afternoon of rest, hollystar and her patrol set out to hunt, and the leader is quick to get to work, not wasting any time before catching x1 tundra shrew. however, the rest of the patrol are also eager to hunt, and wintersneak and honeyfur add x1 rock ptarmigan and x1 stoat to hollystar's catch. however, the hunting turns to a standstill when hollystar wrentches a claw and shouts aloud from the pain. the sudden noise startles a nearby bird, which lets out a loud cry that scares away any surrounding prey. the cry also startled eiderpuddle, who was chasing a hare, making the warrior stumble and crash into a thorn bush. the sudden bad luck takes a turn for the worse when hollystar orders the patrol back to camp, where the healers tell hollystar that she'll need x1 moon of rest for her paw, and that eiderpuddle has an infection that will need to be treated with x1 chervil, x1 stinging nettle, and x1 moon of rest.

border patrol results
• sunglow and his patrol return to camp with little to report other than a biting chill in the air, but this isn't anything new for the tundraclan cats. the rest of their time on patrol passed uneventfully.
• terrabite and his patrol find themselves downwind of a pair of strangers and are alerted to the strange cats when an apprentice-aged cat shouts out to their elder-aged companion that they did a good job of tracking the patrol. despite the recent tensions and encounters with the rogues, the meeting with these strangers is light-hearted and amusing as the youngster tries to show off their tracking abilies, though the elder shares their concerns with the patrol of the incoming cold weather and asks if the clan has a camp close.

• during cloudytree's patrol, coalstep stops the group after he hears out a sound of faint whimpering carrying on the breeze. his ears pricked and eyes wide for the source of the sound, coalstep takes the lead, guiding the others to where they find a lone kit huddling under a sparse bush. when asked where their family is, the kit says that they don't know what happened, but they seem to take an instant liking to coalstep and refuses to leave the warrior's side, even after the patrol returns to camp.

• swanflight, thankfully, has a rather uneventful time looking for herbs, returning before too long with x1 marigold, x1 cobwebs, and x1 horsetail.

training results
• while training, apricotpaw stepped on a sharp stone that made her paw bleed. however, in her determination to learn how to hunt, she pushed through the pain and passed the training session. however, she will x1 moon of rest before returning to training.
• babypaw, unfortunately, spent a little too much time trying to pounce on fallen leaves and terrabite's tail, and not enough time learning how to properly fight, so she failed, but she can try again next moon.
• the rest of the apprentices passed and learned their respective skills.

assessment results
• there is much to celebrate this moon, as cockroachstar and hollystar announce that maplepaw and pearpaw passed their assessments and are ready to receive their new names as full warriors of tundraclan.

Cooler winds bring with them the decay of deciduous trees, and the color lost from frequent sunny days reappears in the swirling forms of various leaves. While the weather hasn’t necessarily turned for the worst yet, the temperature has certainly dropped and taken the abundancy of prey with it. ↪ Moonbounce's patrol caught 1x rabbit and 2x squirrel!
↪ Berryshade's patrol caught 4x voles! However..

The thick scent of vole led Berryshade’s patrol to the bur-
row of a family of vole. Just as they were setting up to
startle the numerous prey from their hiding spot, the tiny
creatures burst from the ground and scattered, and a sharp
yowl sounded out. In the scramble to not only catch as
many as possible, more paws trampled into the area and a
blind fight broke out in the patrols panic. It was only after
the dust settled that Berryshade realized he’d trespassed
into Sharprunner’s zone and caught a couple of Vagaryclan’s
warriors in his patrol’s attack. Of his own, Dashfoot and
Goshawkfur had minor scratches that would require one
moon of rest to heal. Hazefrost managed to get an infected
wound that required 1x goldenrod.

↪ Sharprunner's patrol caught 1x vole and 1x small fish! However..

Sharprunner’s patrol had been struggling to find anything
substantial, so the thick scent of vole had been more
than a little enticing. With a sharp flick of his tail, the
patrol launched at the brush, swiping at the scrambling
prey. But suddenly, there were more bodies on the scene
and confusion rose on whether or not the clan was being
attacked. A brief battle ensued, quickly broken apart after
recognizing the faces of Berryshade’s patrol. The other
patrol had sustained their own injuries. Of his own, Sharp-
runner found that Doespots had a severe break in her tail
that would need to be set with 1x stick and 1x stinging
nettle – she will need a moon of rest as well. Brightfrost
was also found to have had a bleeding wound that will re-
quire 2x raspberry leaves to heal.

↪ Rainwatcher's patrol engaged in battle with the fox! They
managed to scare if off. However..

The mangy beast was far larger and far more desperate
thanthe patrol that greeted it outside of its den. A
ferocious battlewas fought, with the fox tearing its
way out from beneath a flurry of claws and fleeing
with its tail between its legs. Rainwatcher's patrol
did not return to camp unscathed. Sweetpetal
earned herself a major sprain, requiring two moons
of rest. BothCottontuft and Cinderflash re-
ceived major bleeding wounds which will require 2x
cobweb and a moon of rest each to heal.[/u]

↪ Rustfoot's patrol found 3x pebbles!
↪ Foxchaser's patrol was uneventful, unfortunately!

↪ Barring Polarpaw, Wrenpaw and Sleetpaw, all
apprentices learn a skill!
↪ Polarpaw slashed himself during battle practice

anotherapprentice to the top of a tree. She wasn't as
careful as she shouldhave been landing and will

all newly joining cats, as well as anyone showing no symptoms of sickness, are sent to a large cave in the south-western edge of the clan's territory to remain safe from potentially catching this mystery disease. in her absence, littermates valentineveil and redswipe are named temporary seraphim for this new temporary clan camp.

✦ with no one remaining in the clan to mourn her, not even the cheribum that she had the pleasure of training, a few clanmates who had become friends of brackenfall choose to inform her mates of her passing. pondfrost goes to highgarden to inform appleecho and hazelfeather, while rainswoop heads to chessclan to inform ramurefrost.
✦ with no family within the clan to mourn her, oceanblink's closest friend emeraldchin makes her way to pineclan to inform the siamese molly's mate dandeliontail of her passing.
