honestly nowadays, i do absolutely nothing and time seems to move fast. i suppose playing a game or watching a long analysis and/or commentary video would do just the trick though.

^ it happens! sometimes a planned 30 minute nap can turn into 3 or more hours. hope you're able to do something nice today with the time remaining for the day. :)

• i honestly don't know. i haven't felt passionate about something in a long time. i used to passionate about writing and reading. that feels...ancient now. i guess now i'm obsessed with jayvik from arcane. idk if i would call that a passion; i'd probably label it a hyperfixation. idk i'm kind of in a bad mood right now, so maybe that's why positive emotions feel so distant to me sdkjhskdf

you're going to get out and you're going to get the chance to make a life for yourself. things will be painful, and you will often question if holding on is even worth it. i won't lie and tell you that everything will be alright. you will lose a lot of people, people you thought would always be there by your side, and there will be plenty of days where things will still feel pointless. but you will survive. you will have a safe place that truly feels like home. albeit small, you will have a group of friends that will stick by your side through it all. i can't tell you when things will feel alright, when you will feel alright. i can't tell you that life will ever actually feel "alright". but you will have days where you wake up to birdsong in the morning. mornings where you feed your pets while brewing coffee. mornings where you sit by the window with that first cup of coffee and look outside, watching squirrels in the yard and people walking down the street. mornings where you still feel that ever-present, horribly ache of longing and a sense of melancholia, but you'll find yourself smiling and truly believing everything will fall into place someday nonetheless.

also, don't date her. depending on how old you are, you may or may not know who i'm talking about. if you don't know yet, you definitely will. your first love. don't date her. not because she's a terrible person. she's a wonderful person, possibly the best person you'll ever meet. your soulmate. but not in the romantic way you so desperately yearn for. keep it platonic. don't get drunk on that cold winter night, and don't confess to her. admitting to your feelings will be amazing for a few months, but ultimately, everything will break apart. you will lose her, and you will lose 99% of friends you made together with her. you'll regret it for years and years and years, wishing you could go back and undo it all and keep all of those people you loved so much by your side. it will hurt not to say anything, but in the long run, things will likely be better if you just stay friends. it just wasn't meant to be like that. deep down, you may have known from the start. but you will delude yourself into thinking that it's meant to be this way, that everything is fine, and it'll be your downfall once she leaves and the identity you built around being with her crumbles and shatters in an instant
