season: leaf-fall / autumn
as summer gives way to colder weather, your clans can expect to see a decrease in prey and an increase
in danger. predators may become more desperate during this time. while the likelihood of dehydration
goes down, cats who aren't careful on patrols might face more serious risks. inside the camp, medicine
cats will find less herbs and kittings will become more difficult. cats who go out on too many patrols
will also face possible illnesses, as well.

• i recommend noting if there are any cats that you'd prefer be skipped over in the case of death rolls/injuries

TUNDRACLAN ▬ selkirks

hunting results
• dunestep's patrol gets off to a great start as they catch x2 stoats, x1 common raven, and x1 lemming. however, their good fortune seems to give the cats a little too much confidence. while working together to catch the stoats, emberleap and silverstomp are injured when the stoats turn on the warriors. emberleap receives a scratch on his foreleg and will need x1 moon of rest for it to heal properly, while silverstomp is scratched above her eye. the healers determine that the stoat must have been dirty, as the scratch quickly becomes infected. silverstomp will need x1 sweetsedge for it to heal correctly.
• terrabite's patrol quickly gathers several pieces of prey after kiwiheart makes an impressive show of catching x1 hare and ghostlight, not to be outdone, brings back x1 harlequin duck. however, while trying to catch another hare, pyreash and failnaughtfire collided. in the moment, both warriors receive scratches, but the bleeding subsides before they return to camp, so the healers determine that pyreash and failnaughtfire will only require x1 moon of rest each for their wounds to heal.
• ottedive and her patrol also have a nice start to the day, gathering x2 tundra voles. however, before they have the chance to look for more prey, they are attack by rogues. thankfully, by working together and quickly gathering the patrol, otterdive and the others manage to drive the rogues away without any injuries. before they have the chance to properly celebrate, though, micah realizes that the rogues stole both voles, and the patrol returns back to camp without any prey to show for their efforts.
• coalstep and his patrol watch in amazement as pouncewheat makes an impressive leap, bringing down x1 common raven to add to the rest of their prey of x1 rock ptarmigan and x1 tundra shrew. the birdsong in the air excites the patrol, and they follow the prey-sounds to a bird nest, where they think they might wait for more prey to arrive. however, when the patrol's waiting pays off and a raven arrives back at the nest, silksky is scratched by the bird's talons as it tries to fly away. when duckleap tries to help silksky, the bird scratches him as well, and the large raven manages to escape the attack. the patrol returns to camp, where the medicine cats determine that silksky will need x1 tormentil and duckleap will need x1 moon of rest.

border patrol results
• during sunflowerseed's patrol, gingerbreadswirl comments that she feels as though they are being watched. the rest of the patrol falls into a tight formation to protect one another. their vigilance, as it turns out, may have saved the patrol when they are attacked by a small group of rogues. in the brief fight, cockroachstar hits his head against the ground and receives a minor concussion, which will require x1 moon of rest to recover, but the rest of his clanmates are unharmed during the attack, if not unsettled.
• geckoflash's patrol quickly becomes aware of a new scent as they travel along the borders. after following the scent trail, they come across a warrior-aged cat and their apprentice-aged companion. the pair seem surprised by the encounter with the clan cats, but no where near as aggressive as the rogues have been.

• honeyfur's patrol picks up on the recent scent of a group of rogues. however, before they can return to camp to report the scent, they are surrounded and ambushed by the group, and the clan cats fight back ferociously, striking out and batting the rogues back as best as they can. while they do succeeed in driving the rogues away, several members of the patrol have been injured and honeyfur is quick to gather her clanmates together to return to camp so the medicine cats can take over. sure enough, they determine that honeyfur received an infection from a deep wound and needs x1 marigold and x1 poppy seeds to help with her pain and to keep the infection from spreading. sootpelt suffered severe bleeding and will need x1 cobweb, x1 oak leaves, and x1 moon of rest to recover.

herb hunting results
• swanflight, thankful for the chance to get out of camp and gather herbs, returns back to camp with x1 cobwebs, x1 goldenrod, and x1 chervil.

training results
• tundraclan's apprentices, for the most part, have a successful moon of training as maplepaw, pearpaw, stumpypaw, mangopaw, beetlepaw, magmapaw, apricotpaw, and babypaw all pass and learn a skill. however, to dewpaw's disappointment, it seems that going on a patrol and training was a little overwhelming, and dewpaw fails.

assessment results
• foampaw stands before the rest of the clan with joy shining in her eyes as cockroachstar and hollystar announce that she passed her assessment and is now a full warrior of tundraclan. (growth, by deimos)

• silverstomp and midnightglance each bare joyous news this moon as the herbalists confirm that they are both expecting kits. both litters will be due in 2 moons.
• catvoid gave birth to three healthy kits.

hunting patrol results
• rockclaw's patrol praises dappletail when the senior warrior chases down and catches x1 squirrel, adding it to their previous catch of x1 big fish. after watching the display, tawnypaw eagerly asks the dappletail to show her how to do that, and dappletail agrees. however, with her conentration split between her apprentice and her prey, she stumbles and hits the ground hard, knocking her head against a tree root and leaving her dazed. when rockclaw notices that dappletail seems to be hurt, he decides that its time to go back to camp, and nightwhisper deduces that dappletail has a severe concussion. to remedy it, she says that dappletail will need x1 dandelion and x2 moons of rest to recover.
• unfortunately, sweetrose and skunkstripe are unable to track down any fresh scent of prey. the first chills of leaf-fall must have driven a fair amount of prey back into their dens and hiding places for the day. though they try their best to bring back food for the clan, the warriors return back to clan empty-pawed.

border patrol results
• featherstar and her patrol come across a fresh scent trail, which they follow to where a warrior-aged cat is trying to teach their apprentice-aged companion how to hunt properly. when the clan cats approach, the mouse the apprentice was trying to stalk scurried off, and featherstar reminded the strangers not to hunt on featherclan's territory, though it seems as through neither cat has heard of featherclan, but featherstar notices that they do seem quite curious about the clan cats and ask to know more.

herb hunting results
• nightwhisper and oakpaw find good fortune when gathering herbs, as it seems the plants haven't suffered a chill yet this season. they carry x1 poppy seeds, x1 horsetail, x1 chervil, and x1 stick back to camp.

training results
• all of the apprentices were very excited to learn that they would be learning how to swim this moon. while some took to it naturally, others didn't, however. tawnypaw and lakepaw failed to learn the skill, though they are assured that it can be difficult to get the hang of it, though neither apprentice feels too encouraged as the rest pass and learn swimming, with what seems like relative ease.
• unfortunately, sandpaw and seedpaw struggle learning defense. perhaps the colder weather and all of the other apprentices in the training hollow distracted them. while trying to learn one move, sandpaw and seedpaw collided ungracefully, and sandpaw sprained his paw, which he will need x1 moon of rest to recover from before he's ready to try again. after the incident, seedpaw and sandpaw are saddened to hear their mentors say that they failed. but they can try again soon.
• tigerpaw and bramblepaw both have a nice moon of training, and their mentors comment that both apprentices were surprisingly focused during their training sessions, so no one is particularly surprised to learn that they both passed and learned hunting.

STORY NOTES
─ After a conversation with his sister about their childhoods, Badgerstripe dream-walks his way into the Dark Forest one last time. He finds Birchpaw there. Badgerstripe and Birchpaw walk through the woods together, talking quietly between one another, until they reach a strange border between the Dark Forest and StarClan.
─ Hollyspring checks in with all of her youngest siblings. They entertain themselves by theorizing about what Frostpaw must be up to now. Hollyspring can’t help but remember Ramsey, laughing to herself as she imagines his response to why her little sister left the clan.
─ Emberglow discovers two little kittens near the foot of the mountain. They bring them back to SpruceClan and entrust them to Jayswoop and Daisystem’s care. The two warriors reminisce about the parallels between finding the kittens and being discovered themselves by Ravenswoop so many moons ago.
─ Mintfur brings Darkpaw with him to the healer’s den to check on Betonypaw. Darkpaw feels too guilty to wake up Betonypaw and apologize, so Mintfur passes the time by talking with Spiderleap and Adderpool about her recovery. Before they leave, he reminds his son that if he does not address the accident soon, he will only cause the rift to fester.
─ After Hopfrog informs him that they will be having kits, an ecstatic Goldenheart rushes to tell Ivystar and Cardinaltail. Tallthorn shows up in the leader’s den moments later, looking pained, and informs the younger warrior that Cloudchaser’s ghost has been yelling at him all day to go say congratulations. Goldenheart ugly cries.
─ Dovechirp approaches Softlight about mentoring an apprentice after a life-changing injury. Softlight, remembering his own experiences with Hailsplash, offers to take over as Betonypaw’s mentor.
─ Dawnfire and Bramblingpath, who have struck up a friendship in recent moons, talk cheerfully while on patrol. Featherfall jokes that they must be a happy couple. Meanwhile, Crimsontail brings up the patrol’s rear, mumbling to himself about how something “feels wrong” about the earth’s movements beneath his feet.

--Peppermask is very weak and sick after giving birth to her kits, due to an unknown illness. Thistlepath becomes withdrawn, a shell of himself, feeling helpless as he watches Peppermask worsen with nothing he or the medicine cats can do. He becomes obsessive over his last litter, barely letting anyone else near them, even long enough to help feed them and keep them healthy.
--The cats thoroughly check the prey pile, tossing some prey in an abundance of caution. Still, other cats are getting sick, and the medicine cats are helpless as to what could be causing this. The symptoms are not severe for most cats, Peppermask receiving the brunt of the sickness after giving birth, but Sunflicker can't help but think this is only the beginning, afraid of what may come as Leafbare approaches.

as summer gives way to colder weather, your clans can expect to see a decrease in prey and an increase
in danger. predators may become more desperate during this time. while the likelihood of dehydration
goes down, cats who aren't careful on patrols might face more serious risks. inside the camp, medicine
cats will find less herbs and kittings will become more difficult. cats who go out on too many patrols
will also face possible illnesses, as well.

• osiris and locuststrut work together to track down and catch x1 pallid gerbil to add to their fresh-kill pile back at camp.

border patrol results
• during his border patrol, osiris meets an adult cat who seems curious and interested to know more about the kingdom and their way of life.

• papyrusstep returns to camp ready to stock his den with x1 poppy seeds, x1 chervil, and x1 marigold.

• don't forget to subtract food from your prey pile as it is used. it doesn't seem that you subtracted the x1 small bird or x2 large birds that were consumed between your previous posts, so you can remove these from your prey pile in your next post

CELESTIAL BEINGS ▬ broken*

hunting patrol results
• cashmere's patrol gets off to a great start as the clan cats work together to flush out a rabbit warren and catch x2 rabbits before pekin adds an additional x1 bird to their pile. however, stardust steps on a sharp rock and cuts his paw, making it too painful for him to carry on with the hunt. the patrol returns to camp where fernmist looks the injury over, deciding that stardust will be fine after taking x1 moon of rest.
• annulet's patrol praises volta and torrent when the cats collect their catches of x1 mouse and x1 squirrel. however, as the cats try to add to the small pile of prey, racket earns a major scratch after trying to climb up a tree after a squirrel. one of the tree branches caught his fur and scraped down his flank, and the squirrel escaped his claws. after taking a look at the scratch, annulet decides to turn the patrol around, and racket is told that he will need x1 cobwebs and x1 oak leaf as well as x1 moon of rest.
• teine leads his patrol through the forest, feeling confident that they'll find prey for the clan. sure enough, the group catches x1 fish, x2 voles, x1 rabbit, and x1 bird before they head back for home.
• areca's patrol finds good fortune this moon while they go hunting as they work together to gather an impressive pile of fresh-kill for the clan including x2 snakes, x1 big fish, x1 squirrel, x1 vole, and x1 mouse.

border patrol results
• with all of the chaos going on back at camp, ivy breathes out a sigh of relief that her patrol passes uneventfully.
• halcyon's patrol comes across an unfamiliar scent, which they follow to where an elder-aged cat has made their den in preparation for the colder moons ahead. despite their age, they are still strong and puff out their chest at the clan cats. however, its also clear that they don't mean any harm, and they soften when the patol explains that the elder is on their territory. if anything, the elder appears very curious and interested in know more about their clan.
indent↪ the elder is a "black mackerel longhair with a scarred fore leg and yellow-green eyes," colored by Chamrosh. here is their starting geno: ll, B-, Xo-, D-, A-, Mc-, C-, ww
• guttation's patrol returns back to camp, stating that they have nothing of interest to report after their patrol passed uneventfully.
• drizzle leads her patrol past one of the streams in the territory, reminding the others to stay alert in case they run into any threats. however, as they continue along the trail, a startled bird shoots up from the ground, letting out a loud call that scares the cats at the sudden noise. in the moment, mucronata loses her footing and slips on a slick rock. she tumbles into the stream and crashes into a rock. thankfully, the rest of the patrol acts quickly to save her from being swept away by the current, but mucronata broke her leg from the landing, and the journey back to camp takes its toll. gooseglare determines that mucronata will always walk with a heavy limp from the injury, and she will need x1 stick, x1 bindweed, and x3 moons of rest before she is able to walk on the leg again.

herb hunting results
• with all of the sick camps in the clan's camps, the rit zien pool their efforts together to gather herbs that they hope might help heal their clanmates. thankfully, the chill has spared their herbs thus far, and they manage to find x1 cobwebs, x1 bindweed, x1 burdock, x1 horsetail, x1 feverfew, x1 juniper berries, and x1 chickweed.

• pyrrhus and his patrol follow an unfamiliar scent trail where they find an apprentice-aged cat wandering through the wasteland, clearly lost and unsure where they are or where they could possibly go. they ask if they could go back with the patrol, hoping for shelter and a new home.

hunting patrol results
• plumeriasong and her patrol set out early in the morning, eager to catch as much prey as possible, but they have trouble tracking any prey trails, and return home after catching only x1 mouse and x1 rabbit, deciding to try again another day.
• autumnbee's patrol watches as agatewhirl makes an impressive jump, catching x1 bird with the tips of his claws. not to be outdone or left behind by the young warrior, icedusk and rubyspark work together to catch x2 squirrels. however, as the warriors continue to try and flush out a rabbit warren, the rabbit turn and lash out at icedusk and crakelurch, scratching the two warriors and leaving them injured. the rabbits get away, and both of the warriors receive infections from the rabbits' claws. the medicine cats decide that icedusk has a major infection and needs x1 burdock root, x1 blackberry leaves, and x1 moon of rest to recover. likewise, crakelurch requires x2 stinging nettle and x1 moon of rest for his infection to heal.
• borderswoop and his patrol return back to camp after catching x1 shrew and x1 stoat, reporting to mothtuft that they had trouble locating prey scents and that much of the clan's prey may be beginning to retire in preparation for leaf-bare.
• fortunately, cicadabuzz and her patrol have better luck, earning the praise of the clan when they return to camp laiden with prey, adding x1 bird, x2 squirrels, x1 mouse, and x1 shrew.

border patrol results
• gladeshadow's patrol sets out to investigate the wolverine. however, when they reach the last place it was seen, they find that the scent is slightly stale. the patrol fans out, attempting to relocate the scent trail. however, before anyone can properly react when lianasong lets out a warning shout, the wolverine lunges from the undergrowth at the clan cats. it knocks lianasong aside and strikes out at gingerstrike, who was the first to recover and run over to help his clanmates. the wolverine scratches gingerstrike and bats him aside, leaving the warrior with severe bleeding. together with the other members of the patrol, gladeshadow pounces at the wolverine, distracting the animal to draw it away from gingerstrike, but he is critically injured before the patrol drives the wolverine away. gladeshadow passes away from his injuries before they return to camp, and gingerstrike makes it back in time for the medicine cats to begin treating his injuries. gingerstrike will require x1 horsetail and x1 cobwebs as well as x1 moon of rest to heal from the attack.
• barleycloud and his patrol locate several unfamiliar scents during their patrol, and they cross paths with a group of rogues. for a moment, it seems as though the groups might part ways without conflict, but tensions rise rapily until the rogues attack. while barleycloud and his patrol manage to chase the rogues away and out of hazeclan's territory, it is not without consequence and many of the clan cats suffer injuries. barleycloud was struck on the head and he has a major concussion. barleycloud will require x1 poppy seeds and x1 dandelion as well as x1 moon of rest. meanwhile, basilbreeze and lightleap both sustain severe bleeding. for the warriors to heal, basilbreeze will need x1 cobwebs and x1 burnet as well as x1 moon of rest, and lightleap will need x1 lamb's ear, x1 cobweb, and x2 moons of rest.
• glow-wing's patrol comes across a warrior-aged cat carrying their kit. the pair seem to have been traveling alone for some time, but the adult is clearly hardened from tough times and would make a valuable addition to hazeclan.

herb hunting
• the medicine cats set out early, eager to check the herbs in the case any early-season frost might threaten to kill the plants, but the group is pleased to find that the weather has been merciful so far, and they gather x1 blackberry leaves, x1 marigold, x1 foxglove, x1 rosemary, and x1 dock.

training results
• jackpaw, specter, vinepaw, toad, razorpaw, chickpaw, owlpaw, velveteenpaw, vireopaw, web, hawthornpaw, sparkpaw, trick, hex, and tawnypaw all pass their training sessions.
• unfortunately, penguinpaw failed after stepping on a particularly crunchy leaf. but he can try again next moon.
• while trying to stalk, wigeonpaw failed after spraining her paw. the injury doesn't allow her to put any weight on her paw, and the medicine cats tell her to take x1 moon of rest to recover before getting back to training.
• woodpeckerpaw failed after stepping on a sharp stone and scratching his pawpad. the injury draws blood and his mentor sends him to the medicine cats for treatment. thankfully, he won't need any herbs, but he will need x1 moon of rest.
• while trying to defend a mock attack from tawnypaw, malachitepaw tripped and strumbled, losing her footing and hitting her head on the ground. malachitepaw fails the session and receives a major concussion. she will need x1 poppy seed, x1 dandelion, and x1 moon of rest to recover.

CHAOSCLAN ▬ Kazin

hunting patrol results
• marshminnow's patrol starts off well after kiwituft catches x1 pigeon to add to their growing pile of x1 snake, x1 jay, and x1 minnow. however, they decide to turn back after lyrescreech scratches his shoulder against a sharp rock. thankfully, he won't need any treatment, but he will have a scar.
• loonwhistle and his patrol catch x1 stoat and x1 mouse, but their hunting is cut short when forestbreeze tries to catch a fish but, instead, scrapes his leg on a sharp rock. though the young hunter tries to shake it off and carry on, its quickly evident that the injury is keeping him from walking correctly and he cannot keep up with the patrol. loonwhistle orders the patrol to return to camp so the medics can take a look at forestbreeze's injury. they decide that forestbreeze has an infection from trying to walk on the injury. he will need x1 dock, x1sweet-sedge, and x1 moon of rest.
• glacierglow and her patrol quickly catch x1 squirrel. however, tragedy strikes when sweetpoppy tries to climb up a tree after another squirrel. the hunter, too intent on her prey, didn't realize how narrow the branches were becoming as she climbed higher and higher, and she didn't hear glacierglow's shout of warning before one of the branches snapped under her paws. she plummeted to the ground, and the patrol carries her body back to camp, unsure how to break the news that sweetpoppy died to beetleshell and their kits.
• nightingalesong's patrol gathers together an impressive pile of prey, consisting of x1 hare, x1 pigeon, x1 frog, and x1 jay. however, their good fortunate comes to an end when meadowscorch tries to chase after a hare. when the hare ducks between two trees, meadowscorch tries to follow, but winds up with some severe scratches from a thorn bush that as hidden in the undergrowth. not wanting to risk pushing on, the patrol returns to camp and meadowscorch is told that she will need x1 dock and x1 wild garlic as well as x1 moon of rest.
• thankfully, pygmycurl and their patrol have a rather pleasantly uneventful day of hunting, returning to camp with x1 trout, x1 rat, and x1 stoat.

border patrol results
• charstar and his patrol go to investigate the raccoon scent, but return back to camp with little to report. thankfully, the trail had grown faint as it seems as though the raccoon has since moved on since last scented.
• mockbirdstar instructs the patrol to check the scents along the river as they search for any trace of the otter until, at last, aniseclaw alerts the other cats of the predator nearby. with a patrol so large, the attack on the otter was over quickly, but aniseclaw sustains an infection from a scratch from the otter. he will need x1 marigold and x1 oak leaves as well as x1 moon of rest to ensure that the infection doesn't spread.
• atlasrain and his patrol locate a small den where an elderly cat has begun to create a den for themself. when encountered by the chaosclan cats, the cat seemed bemused, but not outwardly aggressive towards the patrol, and asks to know more about chaosclan.
indent↪ the elder is a "solid white mediumhair with amber eyes, folded ears, a bobtail, and a missing back leg," colored by Chamrosh. here is their starting geno: Wd-, Sfsf, jbjb
• cascadefreckle's patrol becomes alerted to the fresh scent of a fox. though it doesn't seem to be close to the camp, the last thing the clan needs is a predator on their territory with leaf-bare coming soon. the patrol can decide to leave the scent alone and hope the fox moves on, or they can come back next moon to drive it away.

herb hunting results
• with so many recent injuries, the medics explore the territory to search for herbs. fortunately, they are able to find and gather x1 cobwebs, x1 yarrow, x1 horsetail, and x1 mint before nightfall.

training results
• in his eagerness to please his new mentor, buzzardpaw passes and learns hunting, but, while trying to pounce on a mouse, he landed sideways, still new to the skill. he scraped his shoulder on the ground, and dirt got into the wound. buzzardpaw received a minor infection from the incident and will need x1 moon of rest before he's ready to return to training.
• unfortunately, stormpaw failed his training session after having trouble concentrating this moon. but he can try again next moon.
• much like buzzardpaw, mushroompaw passed and learned hunting, but they received an infection after cutting their paw open on a rock. they will need x1 sweet-sedge and x1 marigold as well as x1 moon of rest to heal properly.
• while trying to track down the scent-trail of a hare falconpaw lost her footing and tripped after she stumbled onto the edge of the rabbit's burrow. the angle did not allow for an easy fall and falconpaw broke her foreleg from the impact, and she will need x1 stick and x1 bindweed to secure the leg, she will also need x2 moons of rest for the bone to heal. needless to say, she failed her training session.
• cosmospaw passed and learned stealth, but, unfortunately, stumbled across a fox, surprising the predator. in the moment of panic, the fox lunged at cosmospaw, who made a quick escape. however, she was left with several minor injuries from the encounter, and the medics determine that she will need x1 thyme and x1 poppy seeds as well as x1 moon of rest, for both her injuries and the shock from the attack.
• while trying to learn how to climb, penguinpaw sustained some minor bleeding after he snagged a claw in a tough piece of bark. unable to go on any further, he had to give up for the day and he failed the session. thankfully, the medics tell him that he'll only need x1 moon of rest before he's ready to try again.
• the rest of the apprentices pass without any further incident.

assessment results
• cedarpaw beams with joy as thundercloud announces that he passed his assessment. later that evening, in front of the entire clan, cedarpaw is given his full name: cedarpounce.
• unfortunately, dirtpaw had some trouble cocentrating during the assessment, and they failed. thankfully, however, they can try again next moon.

↳↳↳ Dialga's patrol comes across a sleeping Rhyhorn. While carefully avoiding it, Ninjask slips and scratches himself, letting out a small meow of pain. That awakens the Rhyhorn, and angry at being awoken, attacks Lycanroc. While the patrol manages to run away, Lycanroc was scratched in the eye by its horn. Ninjask will need x1 moon of rest or x1 goldenrod, and Lycanroc will need x1 moon of rest or x1 celandine, and Zarude determines her eyesight in that eye will not be damaged.
