Oekaki/Java problems & solutions

Ever since I joined CS in 2015 I can not get any pen pressure. lol.
Everythings updated. Tried IE, FireFox, Chrome. Tried the Jtablet. Did the w3c configs. Tried chibi and the chicken one with tons of different settings. Windows Ink is on. Redownloaded. Every few months I keep trying. (years at this point)

All I wanna do is make beautiful adopts but its hard cause no pen pressure lol,,, (cry)
idk what else to do.

It's funny, I came here for this exact same issue, lol ^^" I'm on a Huion and it works perfectly in Krita, just not ChickenPaint :c

Anyone have any advice? ^^"
Edit; Fixed!! Just had to mess around with my tablet settings enough!

Can anyone please recommend to me a somewhat affordable tablet which comes with a stylus for drawing, which works well with the ChickenSmoothie Oekaki?

I am unable to use it well on my phone or kindle, and would prefer the ability to zoom in and out on my drawing, without it going over the edge of the screen (if that makes sense?)

Bonus points if it comes with Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.

I use the Huion Kamvas 12, it works really well, and I'm sure you can find one used that's really cheap.

I am looking for a standalone tablet like an iPad, preferably around $500 or less.

I currently use a surface pro 6 but I will be shifting to a surface go (most likely 2) they can be bought for under 500 depending on the specs or sales. (but that's without the keyboard) Although I'd recommend also getting a screen protector.
I also use a renaisser pen which is much cheaper than the surface one.

If you don't intend on running Adobe all the time it is a fine choice. (I've tested out a friend's go so I know it runs Sai and Clipstudio just fine so I'm sure it'll run oekaki.)

Although many professionals really recommend an iPad if you were willing to save or buy a second hand the apple pencil is in its own category!

Hey sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere or if this isn't allowed but I'm having problems with the oekaki. Every time I switch from pen to eraser I can no longer go back to using the pen, it just stops working. I have to save and exit out of oekaki and then go back in to continue using the pen.
Also another thing I've noticed if my pen texture (?) looks really weird, it's all bumpy instead of smooth. This doesn't change when I mess around with the brush settings or when I change the brush. I am on mobile and I don't have any pen pressure so I'm not sure if that's a part of the problem or not.

Edit: just remembered another thing, the size of the brush is also really difficult to change. I can move it from like 20-70 and it stays around the same size.

hi, i'm having a problem with my pen pressure and my cursor going away

so for a while i didn't have pen pressure, and i fixed this problem by turning on windows ink.
but the thing is, whenever i turn on windows ink, the cursor goes away so i can't tell where i'm drawing
i was wondering if there was a setting that would allow me to have pen pressure AND be able to see my cursor?
